Available now, fans can stream or download a new expanded edition of the 2002 album, featuring nine remixes and alternate takes of “Where Do We Go From Here”-all of which were previously unavailable on digital platforms. Among the highlights are two mixes by the popular British producer DJ Hyper, plus two re-imaginings of the song from the legendary New York City DJ crew the X-Ecutioners.
Marking the album's debut on vinyl, a 2-LP edition is available for pre-order now and is set for release March 31, 2023. Housed in a gatefold jacket, the vinyl offers the original album featuring the hits “Where Do We Go From Here” and “American Cliché,” plus “The Only Way (Is the Wrong Way).” An autographed opaque white pressing (limited to 500 copies worldwide) is also available exclusively at officialfilter.com.
2022 saw a surprise reunion show with Patrick and Nine Inch Nails-the first time they played together in 26 years-and a brand new Filter single, “For the Beaten,” out on Golden Robot Records. Patrick is readying the release of Filter’s eighth studio album in 2023. Next year will also find Filter embarking on a North American tour, while the band will appear at the Heaven and Hell Metal Festival in Toluca, Mexico, on December 2nd Earlier this week, the band was announced as part of the lineup for the inaugural Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on May 13th. Hearing this live nearly 20 years after this was made was fucking crazy that not only is it like 500% better live (which says something being this is my fave filter song) but Richard still brings so much energy too it
This group/album is yet another example of a masterpiece album that went largely unnoticed by the general music consuming population.

I got "Title of a Record", when it came out. Loved it and thought, this is insanely good. Then I got " The Amalgamut". The perfect follow up. So, thank you very much, Richard and Brian.

bought this album in Canada, remember it was after 9/11 as I was on holiday from the UK and the flight restrictions were very tight, I was very scared to get on a plane anyway through fear and the attacks really didn't help. i was just old enough to drink alcohol so I got absolutely drunk AF before the flight. best time of my life in CA btw.

Way back in the mid 00's I remember seeing an episode of CSI where they were investigating a violent street race at an airstrip and this came on, and then that magical chorus started booming. Butterflies 😄😊🥰

Little late but the metal zone is good if you know how to dial in a basic tone. The Metal zone has a bad reputation because it is marketed to beginners who cant dial i a proper tone

This was on one of the first seasons of CSI, and I thought the song was neat so I shazamed it since they didn’t credit the artist in the captions on Hulu like how they do on Netflix. To my surprise I already knew about this album through an old friendship which was a cool coincidence lol. Really loved this album it was a shame it didn’t reach a higher audience in the early 2000s.
Best album of the last 20 years gets a reissue 👍 signed copy and left board preordered

Was on a large amount of antipsychotics when I started recording on the AN1x. I did a few techno tracks. Then the Geffen Records scout shows up with a drummer and drums. We recorded in my mom’s dining room. The Mark the producer helped master the album as I lost all dignity in my ears because of the drugs. That’s me on the cover of the album.
