- Here's part 2 of my Vintage Record Collection! If you haven't seen my first record collection video be sure to watch that! Today I am sharing with you my updated record collection, I have been collecting records for some time now. I had many Disney and Christmas records as well as many classic artists such as Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and so much more! My record player is a General Electric Automatic, I would recommend this player if you are looking for one! It works beautifully.

I mean yeah crossly aren’t great, but the amount of angry comments about them is.. kinda nuts. It’s pretty sad seeing that like every vinyl beginners’ videos have there comments disabled probably because of it.
But I’m happy they didn’t scare you off or something and enjoy your collecting.
There's something charming and magical about close and play record players. We always used to play with our mother's player when we were very young. Your collection is very suitable for those types of players. They're exactly the types of albums people would have listened to on them for sure

So much fun. I've been collecting records too. It's so easy with the thrift and antique stores. Just a tip from o e collector to another. If you find records that don't have the paper sleeves inside, you can get them in bulk to replace them. The sleeves keep the vinyl in better shape for a longer and from falling out of the covers ( you put the opening at the top.)

Yess! Some people have luck with them but I think you're better off getting a god quality retro one!
Oscar Medrano, Do not buy a Victrola! I got one for Christmas and when I sat down to listen to a record, I couldn’t get through a single track without skipping. I took it back a week later and bought an Audio Technica lp120. If that’s over your budget, get the Audio Technica lp60. Fantastic improvement! Plus suitcase phonographs, regardless of the brand can easily chew up the grooves of a record.
yogibear2k10 or you can get a cd player since this is a video about a format that we enjoy listening to despite its age. (plus who's to say that we do not own cd players.)

I have that same Sleep Warm Dean Martin album. Dean Martin is my favorite. My favorite song is Sleep Warm. So beautiful. I literally fall asleep every time to that song.

I’ve had a crosley recorded player for a year now and honestly it’s working fine .I listen to vintage records and they don’t get damaged from the needle and it has good sound

Awesome records! I was thinking that it'd be cool to have a Discord server for this community, where people can talk and hangout! In Discord, you can have certain ranks (Such as owner or member) different channels (Such as General or Announcements) voice channels, and so much more. You can even play music! Also, you can enforce rules onto the server, like no swearing, spamming, etc. You can kick, ban, and mute anyone who doesn't follow the rules. You can also give people who you trust a moderator rank, so when you're away and someone hypothetically breaks the rules, a moderator is there to help. I just thought it'd be fun to talk and share about vintage stuff with the right denographic, since everyone I do share with doesn't have a clue on what I'm talking about! (Someone even asked what a rotary phone is!)
Omg I love the 1960s beach movies!!! I couldn’t tell you why be cause it’s not like they’re good, they are NOT good but there is just something about them!
May I suggest a couple of vinyl albums by Santo and Johnny. They are instrumental music. Beautiful beautiful music and vintage. An album called ENCORE and one called HAWAII. Hauntingly beautiful and unique steel guitar in their music. I just recently uploaded two tribute videos of Santo and Johnny playing on my record player. One song is the famous Judy Garland song Over The Rainbow and another one from the Hawaii album. I think you're gonna love their music!
Could you do a video on how you work the record player because I got the same kind from the 60s but it keeps on going berserk on me
If you love "Moon River" you have to get the Andy Williams version. It is a great song and it was a big hit. Happy listening!
Should I get a record player? I've been thinking about it and i just sae an ad for a vintage turntable for 50$ and i'm not sure if I should get one. Im worried that if I buy it, it won't come to much use. Please help
I’d recommend the Audio Technica Lp-120 it’s a little pricy but you’ll be getting the best sound quality possible at a reasonable price

You can't be for real, can you? This is either a masterful put-on, or you are just bursting with natural charm and personality and happen to be an adorable fruitcake, too. This video is very well edited, visually and rhythmically. I'm suspicious! You must be an actress with a wicked sense of humor. Either way, I enjoy it immensely.

Thank you! And it's like the aspca (animal shelter) but the spca is the local version!! They have a little store where people donate their old things and when each item sells all the funds go to the animals! It's great!

Yes! They have a thrift store and all the money they make goes back to the animals.
SweetEmelyne's oh wow! We don’t have that where I live! The spca is simply just an animal shelter here! That’s so cool that they did that though! Here all our money from the thrift store we have goes back to our homeless shelters as the city I live in has a high homeless rate.

Because a lot of record collectors take it way too seriously and get highly offended if people own crosley record players haha. I had to turn the comments off because I was getting so many angry old men yelling at me for my bad taste in music and crosley record player 😂

So if your not caring for the sound quality you could just buy CDs. Your Turntable disturb the sound quality.
Please never play a 78 record with stylus for 33&45 Lps or visa versa. It will damage the record and stylus.
