- Here is a tour of my vintage decorated apartment!! My home is decorated very girly with lots of fun pieces. I love collecting antique items and finding new pieces for my home. I also got a lot of inspiration from the shabby chic cottages I found on Pinterest!

Omg! I love the cat tea pot! Lovely home. Nothing beats an old dresser. My husband and I have always wanted a matched set for our bedroom. After 28 years of marriage we bought one. With in a month we regretted it. The drawers looked big and roomy. But were not. I wish we had kept our 1949 set.
Before using the vintage hair dryer have them checked for fiberglass. Some of the old ones had it. It can cause lung problems. Otherwise they are cute for decorating with.

It’s funny what we call vintage in the US is what my family back home are still using 😫 figurines, flowered cups and plates etc
Shoyah'sCrazy FantasticLife what a young 23 year old calls vintage and what someone in their forties calls vintage are different things....I use my stuff...my "vintage" kitchen things are in my cupboards and I use them...not displayed in my living room.
Something is considered “vintage” when it becomes 20-99 years old. So while I may personally not consider scrunchies and 90’s clothes “vintage” because I was born in the 90’s, they are still considered vintage. ☺️
Your cute apt is too cute for words! It reminds me of spun sugar i.e. pink cotton candy! It's very original and you're right, it's decorated like no other modern minimalist apt in grays these days! I bet your bedroom growing up was real girly and pink, too! Enjoy....and thanks for sharing!

My decor is mostly second hand mid century beach house (1940s to 1980s) My ex remodeled beach houses, and people were always telling him “we are buying all new furniture too, so take what you want” Every day he would come home with something. It’s an interesting mix, because beach houses in general are full of the old furniture people collected over the years, grandma’s old stuff, or things that they didn’t want in their real home anymore but felt was good enough for the beach house, things they didn’t care if they got wet or sandy or damaged.
Deep condolences to your lost of your grandparents; but, as Alfred Lord Tennyson said: "Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

What a lovely apartment. So adorably cute, like you. I enjoy looking at all the vintage stuff I grew up with in my home. My Mom had the hair dryer you have and my Dad the radio in Black. The hamper reminds me of the one in our bathroom. My Mom decorated it all the same color. Did you know they use to sell color bathroom toilet paper, even in pink. They changed all back to white when people started getting infections from the dye.Thank you for sharing such lovely things. enjoy your Lovely home.

Omg I have the same lamp that is on your desk next to your computer!! It was my grandmothers and it's my favorite lamp ever! I love your apartment especially the kitchen. Oh and the hazelnut creme candle.... I can't tell you how many compliments I get when I burn that during the holidays. Most people think it's yankee candle and can't believe it's Walmart lol

I have only just come across your channel and already love it! I used to have so many cute vintage things. I had the same or similar honey pot and salt/pepper shakers, but I had to move to the smallest studio known to man so I had to sell so much of my stuff :( I can't wait to watch more of your videos!

How do you not have clutter?!... like just... how?! I find that collecting vintage things gets really hard after a while because its easy to run out of room. Any tips in that department?
Shelves. I only have 1 antique shelf right now but it holds almost all my stuff
If you like a vintage, eclectic look, it’s hard to not wind up with a clutter- I’m not an advocate of sticking too one style, but things should look right together. Some people just have that “touch” but it’s really not that hard - just don’t overdo it and only keep things you really love.

Poéme Georgia Bower my brother and his wife had their entire house customized to the year it was built which is 1950. They had all their appliances redone to look like 19050s appliances and it looks amazing!!!
