    Girl! Your content changed my life. It quite literally changed my life. I’ve been doing Whole Foods plant based along with intermittent fasting and I’m down 60 lbs. I went out for a 14 mile run Saturday and feel fabulous today. From a fellow mama, thank you for helping change not only my life but our entire family’s.       Hiii, may I ask which protocol you've been following with intermittent fasting? I really wanna give it a try, but I'm afraid I'll feel too hungry for not eating fat or oil (that usually keeps people full for longer, as far as I know)

      @@529Gabriella Sure thing! I would say I don’t eat exactly like Kiki because I do incorporate fat. I eat chia, flax and avocado pretty much every day, especially because I’m marathon training right now. I don’t cook with oil though except when eating out so I did want to point that out but I do 18 hour fasts on week days and like 13 hour fasts on the weekends. I’m not super strict about it but it is a general guideline I follow and I have no complaints. I know there are various eating windows, I’ve tried a few and I find this is what works for me. I was very hungry the first two weeks but then your body adapts. I would start slowly like maybe 13 hour fasts and work up from there but first and foremost find what is right for you. I couldn’t find other vegans doing intermittent fasting and had to figure out a lot through trial and error. I hope that helps some.

      @@viviennecarty2418 I think the first two weeks is when I recall my energy levels dipping a bit. Overall, I feel intermittent fasting and definitely eating most of my food from Whole Foods plant based sources has contributed to my overall energy levels which this last year, was something I desperately needed. When Covid hit, my daughters preschool closed and I went from being a full time employed engineer to now home schooling my daughter, caring for her when she would normally be in school and then working from home at the same time. She’s back in school 2 days now so that’s helped out some. I attribute a lot of me being able to get through those looooooong days to movement everyday somehow, intermittent fasting in some way, and putting whole plant based foods in my body. This is where Kiki’s content really made the biggest difference for me. I was able to eat healthy and feed my family healthy without it being complicated and at a time when my world was just pure chaos, it’s exactly what I needed. I hope this helps some. I’m no expert of course but from a personal standpoint, I don’t see myself ever going to a different way of living. I wish all the best and all the good vibes on this beautiful journey ❤️.

      That’s amazing! I’m so excited to start this method once I have given birth in May, I basically eat this way already and enjoy it, I just use oil to cook, and eat a lot of fats. My doctor wants me to continue maintaining, but once babies out, I’m JUMPING on this band wagon and getting rid of the fats 😂😂

    I'm a physical therapist and worked in the medical field for 32 years.
    I've struggled with weight off and on. I've been very successful with weight watchers. I stumbled across your videos and you seem to have a very good relationship with food. I've been doing this 50/50 diet and literally have lost 12 lb in 10 days. I'm not even hungry I'm eating so much food but I'm eating good choices.
    I'm not sure how I feel about the 100% no oil ( as I have about 4 gallons of exceptionally good olive oil in my house ..lol ) but what I specially like that you said is yes you go out you eat if there's some oil in the sauce or oil on some of the food that it's okay and I think that's a great attitude to have, furthermore you tell people, hey if you just can't lose that extra 10 pounds just love the beautiful body you have! I think you have a very nice message and it's not just about being thin, it's about being healthy and being in tune with yourself and accepting yourself and your body, and I think that's a really good message for people today especially.
    Thanks and I'm enjoying this journey and I literally do feel significantly better, re stomach issues and bathroom issues significantly better with eating like this. And honestly it's not really that difficult to do.

    I wanted to add some suggestions for those struggling getting the veggies in. My first thing is to add frozen riced cauliflower to your oat meal (whole or rolled oats) along with frozen mixed berries. The cauliflower takes on the taste of the mixed berries! The second thing is to start adding veggies to sauces, work your way up to steamed. For Example, make a marina spaghetti and dice zucchini very fine(think of diced onion size) or dice mushrooms. Dice your veggies extremely small. Remember it’s neuroadaptation! You need to eat it to crave it, your taste buds needs to adapt. Start small with neutral veggies or a veggie you’re ok with.

      @@rebeccamouse9294 since I use frozen riced cauliflower, I always cook it with my frozen mixed berries:) Start with 1/4 of a cup of cauliflower and work your way up:) When the frozen berries warm up everything turns purple so it hides the cauliflower. The trick is to use more berries than cauliflower at first:) I eat cauliflower every morning this way!

    You do such a great job when you talk into the camera - it feels like you're talking right at ME. I love your channel. I get off and on this WFPB way of eating. My problem is that my husband refuses to eat this way. But I keep working at it. And I'm the woman that fits your narrative at the end of this video - I'm older, I only have 10 lbs to lose, I'm not super active but I do exercise, and I'm not consistent. So, I know what you're talking about. Loved your Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner options. They look delicious and simple. You've always given us such simple solutions. I found that I was always trying to make a dinner that resembled a "meat dish" that my husband likes along his actual meat dish, and try to entice him to switch. But, the truth is, he's made his decision in life, and I can't change him, not at this age. SO, I'm going back to basics, like you've always promoted. Back to preparing simple, recognizable plates, the 50/50 plate. Thanks for reminding me to reset my habits and get back to simplicity. You are so inspiring! Thank you Kiki, for offering up your time and providing us with great advice and videos.

    I began eating this way at the end of the last summer (2020). At first, it was a hard transition; I was often bloated and gassy as my body was learning to move from digesting processed food to whole food. This bloated phase lasted a good 2 weeks. However, once my body was ready to switch into weight-loss mode, it was rapid and I lost about 12 pounds in roughly 3.5 weeks. I've since fallen off the bandwagon but about to get back on. Thanks for making these videos and offering great recipes and motivation!

      I have been doing the SS for five months and I just keep it really simple now. My fav way is to put about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch of water in the bottom of a frying pan and add some garlic powder, a flat tsp of veggie stock powder or half a cube and sometimes a tsp of turmeric and then I just throw in veggies like sliced zucchini, broccoli, cabbage, green beans, mushrooms and so on. I sometimes just do one vegetable and other times I use four or five in the pan. We are in autumn here but in our spring I would do similar with asparagus (my fav). I honestly do this five or six times a week now for my non starchy veggies. Otherwise I just have a huge salad, lettuce, sliced red cabbage, red capsicum(peppers?, tomatoes and so on. 62 lbs down since November 1st and always satisfied.

    I lost some progress because I went back to old habits thinking I could do this with meat and cheese while still getting 1/2 plate of veggies. So December through March, I stayed the same weight even though I was working out and eating only 1200 calories. I was proved wrong. I am back to Plant Based and have lost 4 lbs this week. I lost 30 lbs on plant based from Sept to Nov. Your interview was my exact scenario. It’s amazing how you think starving yourself and busting your butt at the gym is the only way. Plus the anxiety that came along with calorie counting and workouts. I already feel better ditching the old habits. I’ve loved your videos for a long time Kiki. Please keep it up. You’re an inspiration!

    Plantiful Kiki you are so right with all you have said, I have followed your advice for the last 2 weeks eating low cal and doing walking as an exercise, I cut out the fats and so far lost 6 pounds over the 2 weeks, super happy eating so much and enjoying what I’m eating , also putting my foods in my fitness pal to give me a visual how much calories I’m eating in what I choose to eat and what foods I need to be a little careful on , love your videos, and you look gorgeous , well done , thank you for sharing your journey with us.👍

    Thank you for the video today. I am now 3 months in on WFPB no oil way of living. 19 pounds are gone and I hope it's forever. I think this way of eating has a good chance of becoming my normal usual eating. I had to ban a few "foods" from my life (read: not really a food), and I feel much better. Your meals today looked great as well as delicious. You have been helpful and inspiring for me, so thank you. I turned 60 this year and I really feel like the excess 60 or more pounds can go away forever now. Excess weight forever gone would be fabulous!!!

      I love what you said about just loving the body you have. I’ve gained around 10 pounds in the last few years and have been struggling to take it off. I struggle between wanting to lose the weight and learning to just be happy the way I am. Thank you for such a balanced approach to fitness and diet
