Would be interesting to see how colour influences feeding. Yellow has always been a firm favourite for me. Maybe a handful of corn or a handful of yellow baits next to neutral coloured baits would be interesting to see which gets scooped up first. Great info & great vids, thanks!
How many fish are stocked in the lake out of interest and what size lake? I know the purpose of the tests are head to head bait comparisons so the stock / lake size aren't that important in that, would just be interesting to know Will each test be with 1kg of bait?
Very interesting, will follow to see results of other baits. One thing to test also perhaps: would it make a difference if you add bait (for example every hour) towards both sightings and feeding?
@@BPMilling What you preach on a daily basis is almost identical to what top Japanese breeders practice. So I think you could be an excellent master in raising KOI.
The amount of bait carp are eating varies constantly so this test doesn’t say much. The only way to get relevant results is by feeding more than one type of boilie and than count the leftovers after a certain amount of time. Also you have to do this on various waters.
Great idea in principle, but to be trully scientific and take envirnmental factors out of the equation you should feed them different types of boilies at the same time. Otherwies water temp, carp "mood", air pressure, moon phase, wind direction, etc may and most likely will affect your results. I also do not understand why you are not willing to share the name and brand of boilies you are using?
Interesting opinion there! I chose a brand that would be symbolic of generic fishmeal boilies from a reputable brand. The reason that i’d never name the brand is because I have no intention of putting another business in the firing line negatively. Everyone love everyone 👫

Mega this lads
Thank you mate! Spawning has sent the water a little turbid for any more filming but hopefully we’ll have another recorded soon!
Fishing is a lifestyle! 🎣
I love the idea of this. As anglers we cant help but be curious as to which baits have the most pulling power. Now we get to find out. 👍
I think it’s going to be bloody interesting! Sure to ruffle some feathers! 😂
@@BPMilling It will indeed! 😂
Very interesting video. Have the fish seen boilies before? I would like to see how tigers and tiger nut slush get on.
No to be fair they’re not familiar with them!
Great idea! Already interesting to see how low the percentage is for actually feeding. I reckon trout pellets or sweet corn for the win
Bets placed? 👀 Sweetcorn is next up 😜 trout pellets will feature at some stage no doubt they’ll score high!

Maybe an idea to try once we’ve got a good few films done the way i’ve set out! I think there’s going to be lots to learn!
I think if you were that curious, you also would have measures to make them bigger and bulkier body shape if you wanted to.
Not sure i know what you mean?

It’s just a but of fun for a minute mate.
Big Brand ‘fishmeals’ don’t contain a lot of fishmeal!😳
What brands

@@BPMilling I get your point, looking forward to the next installment.
Sweetcorn and chickpeas
Chickpeas, i’ll Put them on the list!
Having worked in the bait industry I'm looking forward to the comments from instant bait experts 🤌😂😂😂
