I just noticed how the lower your number, the more messy your yarn is wrapped. All the 9s, 8s, and 7s had perfect horizontal lines, where the 1s and 2s had more diagonal and vertical yarn. Nice touch!

I like how only the zeros had brown yarn that truly set them apart, and at the end the baby had brown yarn while still being the highest number. Just really shows the beauty of this short film ❤️

Most people see this as anti-bullying and all that, but I personally find this to be more representative of the caste system. (A system in India where people in society are divided into different social classes) The higher numbers, let’s say 9 & 10, being the Brahmin, the highest rank and most successful. The tad bit lower numbers, let’s say 7 & 8, being the Kshatriyas, the second-highest rank. 5 & 6 could be the Vaishyas. 1-4 the Sudra. And finally, zeros being the Dalit, the lowest rank. They’re the poorest of the caste system, and used to be so hated that they were called “Untouchables”, which is a very dehumanizing term. I honestly don’t know that much about the caste system, so I probably got some things wrong, but that’s what this video reminded me of.

I love how people talk about the cast system and link it only to India. Countries in Europe had it, many Asian countries too but it has only to be linked to India and forget all others. Hypocrisy that this system was made rigid which wasn't always like that until the British arrived!

I think that’s one way to look at . But I think it’s more to do with numerology than caste system . It’s more to do with the life path numbers , and karma people are born with .

I remember watching this shortly after I turned 9, and I'm 18 now. How time has passed since then, right?! This holds up so well even after all those years, and i couldn't be more glad to see this pop up into my recommendations again!!!

Plot twist: Zero becomes an anti villain. Any number divided by zero is zero, therefore he doesn't loose.
As I understood your movie can be interpreted in many ways. I see this as the movie about being disabled or having chronic illness and I couldn't help crying during watching this. I understand the main character so much. Thank you.

I love the details like the yarn being more messy as the numbers got lower, and the fact that two 0's make infinity if you mush them together. Small touches like that really make a good film.

I remember watching this as a child , around when I was 9 or 10, and this was the first movie that fully translated the sadness I used to feel as a child and at the end of the movie I cried so much because it felt like I was finally understood and not alone in how feel (how I used to feel back then) ,and it felt like there was hope. Hope to be greater than how I felt about myself & everything else in my life, at that moment. I will forever be infinitely grateful to this masterpiece , for comforting me , letting me know that I wasn't alone & assuring me with hope that I can be & feel greater than I did in that moment. I will forever be grateful to this movie for instilling in me the core values that 'how other people treat us has nothing to do with our worth as a person' & "the majority isn't always right or correct, we have to analyze with empathy" & "Anyone has the power, the ability to create something bigger & magnificent, regardless of where they're from or how they are" .
It's been years since I had watched this movie when I was 9 or 10 , and I always think about this movie so much . Thankyou so much for this movie, it has really impacted my life and who I am as a person in alot of ways, throughout my life. I am eternally grateful. Just reviewing it brings me a lot of nostalgia, I remember watching it as a child, and today the feeling is the same as years ago :)
Every year, I find myself returning to this masterpiece whenever I feel like I've hit rock bottom. Watching this always reminds me that whether I was destined to be a 0, 3, or even an 8-nothing can and should stop me from reaching as high as infinity. It's been 8 years since I first saw this, and I will sure as hell make sure that all my kin to come will know this story and remember that wherever they may end up, not even the sky will be their limit.

I used to watch this show when I like 7 years old in my dad Mac. At that time this show used to make me sad. It's been a long time I didn't watch this video. But one day in 2021 I suddenly remember this show, and I remember the video name is zero so I checked it out and I'm so glad its still here now this show make me learn a valuable lesson: if the person is low profile, doesn't mean he's a useless man
Today I was randomly doing math when I remembered watching this so many years ago. Its 2 in the morning, but I suddenly have the urge to watch this again. The message has still stuck with me from so long ago.

I watched this when I was a kid forever ago and always related to Zero, but couldn't understand exactly how yet. I mean I was bullied and ostrazised, but there was always another layer of relatability for me. Then I got diagnosed with autism and ADHD in adulthood, and returning to this video made it finally click.
Moral: Life becomes worthy when you find someone like you.

I appreciate this, it made me think of a bunch of topics. One comment spoke about the Cast system which I didn't even know about. There is an anime called forest of piano the main character lives a hard life but has a talent for playing piano which nobody expected from someone like him and zero turned out to be good at art which nobody would have expected from a zero. I feel like the zero has many meanings though the video in class he was the one everyone zeroed in on, when they hung him from a tree he showed no sign of anger, when he saw help wanted he didn't hesitate to try to help, when he found the coin he was selfless, the list goes on and on. This is a true work of art.

Just found out about these emotional short films this morning. Can’t stop watching. I been on such an emotional ride today 🥺
I love short films like this, short story but a big life lesson along it all. This covered so much segregation, bullying, classism. This is the type of films that should be shown. End of the day we are all human and deserve love, respect and kindness
I think it's random chance that the numbers might multiply, divide, add, or subtract when reproducing which explains why Zero's mom was allowed to have him, because she was probably with someone with the same number as her. When the two Zeros reproduced, they ended up having a child who was divided, and 0/0 is an indeterminate, which is why the child ended up with two heads and as infinity. If that child is released into society and reproduces with others, everyone will slowly end up becoming infinity because if you add, subtract, divide or multiply from infinity, it stays as infinity, making everyone equal. And I'm assuming if someone is below zero, they don't even get the opportunity to live and are born stillborn. Of course this is all hinged on the assumption that the creators weren't trying to simply make a metaphor.

6 months ago I wrote _"0 + 0 = ∞"_ , I meant that even if you have *0 opportunities* or *0 support,* _being with someone and fighting together_ gives you *∞ ways to advance* in the life in different ways.

Man, this Video was one of the first i can remember watching on youtube. I was 4 or 5 at that time and couldn't speak english a single bit. (Am German)
And one particular scene is stuck in my head since i was young, but i never found this video until now again. I remember even tho i couldn't understand a single bit, i still felt with the Zeros. I am glad that i can now fully understand what it is about.

I learnt something in Zero's school as well... They say that zeros' were not aloud to multiply... Because if they did they would have restored the monarchy. (King/Queen).. So there was not a king and queen.. They were scared of them being the superior ones again so they treated them badly and hid the truth from people

I have watched this ever since 7 years old on my mom's phone, I didn't have a phone back then, she had TH-cam installed, and I watch some animations but this one by far is always stuck on my head after 6 years it's so nostalgic and I grew up with this
I feel like this symbolizes how society (programming) keeps us from our true potential - leaving us feeling like "not enough".
I remember watching this with my lil sis when we were younger and this is one of the animations that got me interested in story telling and animation, and now I'm pursuing my career in the arts. :D
