The world’s shallowness and chaos can put an INFJ’s composure to the test. Yes, every so often I need to ask myself if I like the person in my life more that what the point of discussion/ discord/ argument is worth because I could so easily cut to their soul if I wanted to. So if your INFJ suddenly goes quiet on you mid argument and walks away they are choosing to say nothing because they have decided that you are either a) more important to them than the argument is worth or b) the topic is simply a waste of their time and energy and they don't care about your opinion enough to continue. In either case allow the distance because if you push them so that they go personal, it will cut into your deepest insecurities that you didn't even know you had.

I once had a boss who insulted me, belittled me, and made it known he didn't believe in me. Worse than that, he lied to me. I felt he really underestimated what I was capable of. So what did I end up doing? I took him and the company to court. The case went all the way to my state's supreme court, and a new law was formed in my name, making it officially illegal to do what they had done.

Good for you. I'm not a great communicator. So it's hard for me to do that kind of stuff so I think that's why god takes care of me in a different way. And I'm ok with that. Plus as an empath I have to protect myself of that kind of energy but I do anything for my grandkids.

Many times, INFJs "allow" things to happen, back down from an argument, let the other win, do it the person's way, etc. Why? It's not a sign of weakness or a pushover. The INFJ is helping out the other person....without them knowing.

We're very peculiar, there's no one like us. When we flex, we marvel people. I wish I would of known that I was an INFJ sooner. Were a unique set of people.
i cried when i first found these videos as they are 90% accurate at least and some are spot on. I've never heard anyone accurately describe me before and for that i get a sense of relief.

I’m 46 and only realised I’m an INFJ empath and also physic and wish I’d found out years ago coz it would’ve saved me many years of pain. But I turned out a solid man with many life lessons learned and now live to make my own happy. Universal love to all you other empaths xx

Erm... it was not Hitler's INFJness ( I doubt that he was ever INFJ) which led to his crazy and inhuman acts but his very obvious psychopathic traits ( i.e. lack of empathy, ego-centrism, sadism, narcissism etc..). INFJ traits =! psychopathy

@Farran Hill Sorry, your statement has not convinced me. Can you support that claim with any scientific facts? Any psychological studies using INFJ and non-INFJ cohort groups to compare any significant risk factors for personality disorders. I doubt that. Psychopathy usually doesn't develop in later life. There are already early manifestations in childhood or adolescence (such as animal cruelty etc.)
I was asked once this question by a lady with an attitude, at a bankers’ dinner party;
“And tell me, what are your skills?” While she smiles at me and drinks from her glass of wine.
I answered right away “My skills? Hmmm, I can play with your mind in ways you can’t even imagine, and yours?”

Most people who test me alot usually have insecurities playing in the background.. what is so sad is that I'm the one who tells them because I see them so clearly.
I sense when someone in a room doesn't like me. And if I'm around them often, it means that soon I'll figure out why.

@@wondeaman2774 It's strange, but it's just a feeling that hits me. Is it the same way for you too? For example, I remember sitting in a restaurant while I was waiting for my order when a girl walks in and right away I felt something strange when I looked in her direction.

I think my favorite line and the one I dread using the most is “It would be in your best interest..…”. This gives a person a get out of jail free card or things are going to take a turn for the worst. Some never recover, they just can’t take a hint. I try not to get to that point though, it’s never a fair fight, yet we know this walking into the ring.

As an INFJ in a very competitive environment (engineering research), I have learned some humility because some of those other personality types are incredibly smart and can shoot me down quickly. However, I usually keep my own counsel, keep pursuing my goals and eventually I can sometimes surpass them. This video makes it seem like INFJs always win, which I can tell you from experience is not the case. I think all the types have superpowers, but if my experience is a guide, I think one INFJ superpower is persistence in the long term.

I am an INFJ and a very strong one. This was so on point that my mouth fell open. You nailed it with this video presentation...There's not one thing that you presented here that I am not. I screwed my entire family who told me I would never amount to anything..I became a doctor and published researcher. They all put their mouths up their hind quarters! I dismissed every one of them now!!

I’m pretty new to this INFJ info. I’ve always noticed people feel betrayed when I don’t roll over and submit. I’m so nice most of the time it is confusing to people when they can’t bully me into doing something their way. I’m a behavior specialist with my school district and I have a very kind reputation, but when it comes to advocating for a student (typically a student with major behavior issues) I am very resolute. It is unusual to see people’s expressions as they struggle to process this. I’m glad I’m not the only INFJ in the world. I definitely feel alone in my core beliefs throughout day-to-day life.
All facts! I try soooo hard to keep my cool because I have no middle ground.Most don't even know I've scanned everyone around me for strengths and weaknesses. I know exactly what to say or do to get under their skin but what good does that really serve.

The mind power we posses is truly a remarkable gift from the Lord, which should be treated as such. Never to destroy another but used as an example that we will be victorious regardless of how they try to ruin our calling. I tend to let them do their own self destruction, preferring to pay no attention whatsoever. My power of mind over matter is extraordinary as I fully recovered from 7 strokes since age 21. I would not waste my time on mere mortals stupidity. I only focus on how I can improve or move on!

I think it's just because we're rare(2% of all humans), humble, honest, moral, nuetral and that's very rare traits to find in anyone these days, these are some crazy crazy times were living in. To have all these values in one personality creates a moral peaceful enneagram 9 personality type, in my opinion. Although you can become mentally unhealthy and embody the opposite traits, of course. I don't think there's a stigma, it's just 1 of 16 personality types. He's only a mouthpiece for the research they did in order to make this video about INFJS.

Thank you, I created a report that garnered my employer over a half million $$, no one knew I had accounting skills. I was the only one qualified to do that report, so I did it before it was needed. When it was time to bring my information my immediate supervisor allowed me to make the presentation. It was beautiful.

I call that coldness a left shift because thats when I flip from right brain to left sharply, it's often accompanied by swift and decisive violence even if it is rare.
This has happened with me,
I literally break connection with that person, he were always judge me☹️ (you are this type of person and that type) always try to test and judge me.

Well I've read all 220 comments and I see nobody does what I do when tested. I PRAY. I pray so hard for the individual trying me. And I don't stop praying for them either. I pray they get they mind right and Get back right with God. Then I warn them that God is watching them try me and I have worked so hard on mySelf and they should leave me alone before they have consequences out of their control.

So yeah I pass all my tests with flying colors. When tested I REDIRECT. I hold that Mirror up for the lost and point them back to the SOURCE of their issues. Because it aint me with the problem.

Loved your comment. I have actually meditated with affirmations for two of my neighbors to be better men. I guess this might be called prayer. Both of them stopped the bad behavior towards me. I did have words with them before my meditations, but people when challenged often don't respond. These guys did, and I believe the meditations helped.

It’s like Dr. Strange in Infinity War, you see all the outcomes in mere seconds and are capable of choosing the most desirable one. The fact of the matter is this type knows not to fight any losing battles and yet they rarely are in such situations because they know time is on their side. It’s not the fight it’s the war! Eventually you don’t have to move mountains, the mountains already know to move and that’s when the magic starts to happen.

I find I crush peoples pride alot without even knowing it. Something about maybe what i say or how i say or in me just "being" that accidentally hits peoples pain point. I dont do it on purpose but when i do it the response is unmistakable. I always feel bad, but then think well maybe its an insecurity they need to just deal with anyway...only thing is I didnt really want to be their unintentional teacher. Edit: I realize this doesnt have much to do with the video but still sharing my observations with fellow infj's :)

i am an INFJ and i am full of negativity, and yet i embraced those negativity within me.
I don’t live in a competitive world. Even though I don’t feel like I am struggling or trying too hard, others criticise my attitude and enthusiasm, my efforts bring good fruit and joy to my life. When people try to inject toxicity in my life I don’t allow it for long. Even if I snap and look like the weak and unstable, I get to be free from people that aren’t letting me grow and live my life. I express my desire to that person to stop their toxic dynamics, and they don’t stop, then I avoid giving them my attention and care, they eventually go away. I always reach for improvement, I don’t like to be mentally stuck with what I know about myself and about others because we are a constant change. I like to ask questions and make sure if I understood well. Sometimes others think I am patronising.
This is me all the way. I had to snap on a narcissist that thought he could get away with down talking me and demanding things. I just meet this dude two weeks ago and he act like we been in a bitter marriage for 30 plus years and the thrill was gone. I've feed him 3 times and yesterday I couldn't even ask him to buy me something to eat without being told NO in so many ways. Then he showed up uninvited with food just for him. Told me I never asked him to buy me anything to eat. So I snapped. He was in and out my house in less then 5 minutes. As an Empath I tried, his loss.
Oftentimes, some people or things are just not worth caring for. There are times when I feel stressed crossing points with someone, I end up deleting my comments and not reply at all. Some people see this as passive-aggressive or that they won the argument. But for me, it's simply - you're not worth any second anymore. I then remind myself that I don't have to even deal with these kinds of things. What's in it for me? You do you. Let's mind our own business.

as an ENTP that closed with an INFJ friend I could say, the most extreme thing is they disappeared without warning and trace because of something that I also don't understand. I heard that someone told her that I don't like her being in this place when the truth is it was the opposite. It's 100% jealousy from my colleague seeing us together and she just gone because of that false news.

Must add, sometimes we have a Hulk inside, and spent a lot of effort keeping him calm, so when someone bothers us a lot, we just release it, and can be, a totally poison, insidius, and very accurate comment of the mind, body and personality of the Other, or just a furius fisical atack. Then, when calm returns, we start to guilt ourself for being too agressive, but the damage is done and the other just saw our dark side and will never forget that.

I actually try not to crush anyone’s self esteem because it goes against my morals. However, if I am provoked long enough, I can cut a person down to size but quick wit and no mercy. This is specifically reserved for Narcissists, Psychopaths, Sociopaths and the like. I would never cut down a helpless person without serious provocation. We never GET RID of anyone.
Rather, we may just keep them at ARM'S LENGTH. That is, avoid or prevent closeness with such person.
I've closed the door on many toxic relationships including most of my family. But I would say they got told then put at arms length and warned again before I shut the door. I guess it just depends how much that person is a negative factor in our lives.
