Yes. I have something to add. As a Christian INFJ for 50 years, and 9 years of Lutheran school, as an INFJ I feel like I am God's polygraph machine. The more people talk, the further I can get inside their head. I can see if their soul is black, grey, or white, and who is going to hell. I couldnt tell you who is going to heaven, but I can calculate who is going to hell.

I am regularly attacked by narcissist people, trying to turn others against me, accusing me to be asocial. This has been a huge cause of suffering in the past and questions about why and how to avoid that. Now, I know that it is part of my destiny as INFJ and that it will continue to happen and I accept it. The good news is that this acceptance now reinforces my happiness to be as I am, and consciousness that it is a gift. I can never be destabilized again and I feel stronger and stronger.

Omg. I very often experience discrimination in social gathering without having done anything or mistreated the other person. This has always felt so strange to me.... but this information helped me gain some perspective why it happens.
They said I tend to contradict people or provoke/ challenge their views. It's not intentional of course. I just think that there are areas of a topic that they fail to realize or see and it kind of offends them when i bring it up or correct their views. Either I get too involved or very indifferent. Either way, no one likes it. Sometimes I'm a smart ass and sometimes too naive to understand. Either way, it frustrates them. Really depends on how people see me. But growing up, too many people told me I'm - obnoxious, too opinionated, too ignorant or too idealistic. What else can i say? I have no middle ground.

I'm definitely a outsider. What is important is not always the same as what people value. I think we just understand life at much more profound level. Every conversation is deep. Every conversation reveals it's mysteries and has new secretes to be teased out. That's just who we are.
INFJs are the proverbial 'wise man on the mountaintop' that people seek out to gain wisdom & insight. The key component in this relationship, is that an individual must be in the mindset to seek help. There are many who know the wiseman is up there, but they do not climb the mountain instead seeking their own solutions. In otherwords, advise should be given only if asked for.
I think a lot of it is because we see right through people and their masks, we intuitively pick up on their hidden truths, wrongdoings sometimes within seconds upon first meeting them. We scare them because of this and obviously they hate us for it - but only bad people. Good, decent kind people 💘 LOVE us

Trouble is if you continue speaking when you are interrupted, so that there are two people speaking at the same time, you are viewed as having an attitude. Rather than labelling the ‘interrupter’ as being arrogant and rude.
I like to let everyone know who interrupted me by calling them out with "hey A. H. I was speaking.". That way everyone knows I can be a bigger A.H. because I don't give a damn what they think of me.
Sometimes after they have interrupted me and said a little, I say "As I was saying ..." Also, when I speak, I often pause for a second or two and people jump right in and don't realize I was not finished or just don't care.

This really resonates as this is the story of my life. This can be very hurtful but, nevertheless, I "know" that I am "right." No wonder we are loners but, even so, I would rather be me.

This is all happening to me right now during Covid. I don't understand why people don't see the truth and most people can't understand why I care so much and want others to get it. They all think I've lost it and call me a conspiracy theory because my views are unpopular and counter to the mainstream narrative. I've lost lots of friends and family over our differences of opinion, but it's helped me to come into my own and trust my intuition and understand myself better. Isolation also helped me accept aloneness and become even more my best friend. It's been a lonely but empowering time, probably for most of us INFJ's. In fact, I've been saying to myself exactly what this video says, "They’ll choose to listen to their higher self than to people who know nothing about reality." These two years, while highly disconcerting on a existential level, have also been oddly reassuring about myself and what I know and observe.
Terrific post on INFJs: Infj do indeed have their own specific needs. Hardly anyone understands. I agree fully in not engaging in too much worldly matters, I rather turn inward like pointed out in this great video post.. When I choose peace time and time again, people indeed think i am unbothered. But that is not the case. I let everyone. No conviction needed. That's why unrefined criticism is directly at hand, because the people just can not handle the plain truth. Or accept my answer for what is. Again, I just let it, or let it be. Can 't help if their feelings of inferiority (we all have those btw!!) come to surfaces either, for those feelings were always there, it's just that my presence may make it more obvious. People just don't want to be aware of what they let in themselves; hence it takes a great deal of loving patience and furthermore courageous, strong and consistent hearts to deal with own uncertainties instead of projecting them on fellow people. And they knów this at heart. But, then again, will they admit?

Attacked, called all manner of names. Lots of labeling of my many mental illnesses.......and on it goes. Usually after the initial attack, they retreat quickly. Going silent. Confused somewhat by lack of returning same behavior. As well as my completely indifferent reactions.
I can totally relate when I was younger, at school, when 2 guys always laugh/mock at me, practically every day. I was always so calm, always ignoring them, never answering them (never says bad things to anyone, always kind) One day, when it was the time too many, I push the one who was wider against the lockers. After that, they never laugh/mock at me anymore. Take care of yourself.
Fifty two and I am not everyone's cup of sunshine. Everyone is treated accordingly. That treatment is connected to a feeling I get in my gut. I used to feel guilty about this but now embrace that feeling and use it. I used to wonder why others could not get a feeling for people.
As another very sensitive INFJ, I did get attacked by a group of people on social media and my channel gets it too...but I found out their perspectives and now they stopped because I understand them. I do not think they see me as a friend but perhaps no longer a threat to them.

Been my life. Oh how I loathe parasitic politicians. My childhood was painful and I couldn't understand why people were so hateful. How I loathe bullies and I've stood for others who couldn't stand for themselves. I'm matured enough to not be moved by what fools say whence they've trespassed as if my senses were nil cause I rarely speak. However, once provoked , I say more than what they hadn't anticipated on and they tend to stomp screaming profanities. I believe for any to go out of their way to get in yours; like a fool looking to square off with an oncoming train, is only receiving what they intended for you. My childhood was the odd one left out and looked upon as a mistake of nature. I was deeply hurt by this. I reckon; as unbeknownst to me then, brought unwanted attention to myself when I spoke plainly as if common talk only to have been mocked which is why I couldn't handle school no longer and quit at 16 and hitched rides. I've lived from place to places with all sorts of people, good and bad. Nowadays I'm not concerned by attempts of belittling me as many times before, I see 'em coming and leave 'em wondering what just happened. Unless someone is of genuine nature, I won't bother. Avoiding any unnecessary complications unlike my past self to stoop.
Yes. My stepdaughter actually got angry at me for defending myself from an unprovoked attack by saying, I don’t want to read your rambling thoughts. The fact is I have always defended others but not myself. I’m overexplaining not feeling worthy of the freedoms I’m requesting for myself. These are natural human freedoms but not in a relationship that was all about everyone in the family unit except me. Baby steps.

100% I got a word this morning "Mocking". Heard it in this video. Read your comment and brought to mind the suffering of Jesus for us. I looked up in the Strongs Concordance the word mock, and it brought me to a scripture about how Jesus was mocked, beaten, scourged and died for us. We pick up the cross of Jesus Christ. On my first mmorpg (Ragnarok Online), most of people didn't like me and criticize me, cause I done a different character build than others. Parents didn't really like me, cause I didn't speak, and didn't want to move, I was too calm. They though I was lazy ans shy. Maybe people are jealous of our patience, calm and wiseness. People are afraid and judge when they see someone or something different of what they already know, and they call it bizarre, strange or weird. But we know "we are all different" just understand it and accept it, there is nothing bizarre or normal, there are just different things.

I'm am a 54 year old Imfj-a and a believer in Christ never has there been a day I can think of that I ever questioned His Truth. I refuse to be just "woke as they say now days" I have been awake all my life and even as a young child I knew that life was fragile. I also saw & felt when something was wrong and would follow my inner knowledge of this and find a safe path always minding my own business. God truly has made my life very fulfilling though I have been through many dark days in my life also. I never backed down from being who He created me to be. I have had many failures also in life but I would correct them as best I could if possible and dusted off and get right back on the path God was leading me to. I have arrived to this conclusion there is always a better way of being me. Honesty never hurts anyone it changes lives for the better.

This video is my life i learned couple years ago what "im". Got attacked many times and i just wonder why? whats wrong? sometimes really bad people like evils... Made me understand a lot of things for me key was protecting my energies that helped a lot and also understand others. Yes. I have something to add. As a Christian INFJ for 50 years, and 9 years of Lutheran school, as an INFJ I feel like I am God's polygraph machine. The more people talk, the further I can get inside their head. I can see if their soul is black, grey, or white, and who is going to hell. I couldnt tell you who is going to heaven, but I can calculate who is going to hell.

I am regularly attacked by narcissist people, trying to turn others against me, accusing me to be asocial. This has been a huge cause of suffering in the past and questions about why and how to avoid that. Now, I know that it is part of my destiny as INFJ and that it will continue to happen and I accept it. The good news is that this acceptance now reinforces my happiness to be as I am, and consciousness that it is a gift. I can never be destabilized again and I feel stronger and stronger.

Omg. I very often experience discrimination in social gathering without having done anything or mistreated the other person. This has always felt so strange to me.... but this information helped me gain some perspective why it happens.

I just think that there are areas of a topic that they fail to realize or see and it kind of offends them when i bring it up or correct their views. Either I get too involved or very indifferent. Either way, no one likes it. Sometimes I'm a smart ass and sometimes too naive to understand. Either way, it frustrates them. Really depends on how people see me. But growing up, too many people told me I'm - obnoxious, too opinionated, too ignorant or too idealistic. What else can i say? I have no middle ground.

I'm definitely a outsider. What is important is not always the same as what people value. I think we just understand life at much more profound level. Every conversation is deep. Every conversation reveals it's mysteries and has new secretes to be teased out. That's just who we are.
INFJs are the proverbial 'wise man on the mountaintop' that people seek out to gain wisdom & insight. The key component in this relationship, is that an individual must be in the mindset to seek help. There are many who know the wiseman is up there, but they do not climb the mountain instead seeking their own solutions. In otherwords, advise should be given only if asked for.
I think a lot of it is because we see right through people and their masks, we intuitively pick up on their hidden truths, wrongdoings sometimes within seconds upon first meeting them. If your life was in danger, the more dire the situation is, you'd be better off making sure that the nearby ISFP/ESFP in the group is dead! This will maximize the likelihood of the group success/escape, as the ISFP cannot be trusted! They will likely do something r-tarded at the worst possible moment-getting themselves and everyone else killed (or the ISFP might panic and push a teammate under the bus as the ISFP feared getting sacrificed first- inexcusable, particularly since they ARE the threat, them and other narcissits (ESFJ/ESTJ are synonymous with cluster-b). These r-tards actually empower narcissits, especially during elections and for typically r-tarded reasons/motives).

Trouble is if you continue speaking when you are interrupted, so that there are two people speaking at the same time, you are viewed as having an attitude. Rather than labelling the ‘interrupter’ as being arrogant and rude.
I like to let everyone know who interrupted me by calling them out with "hey A. H. I was speaking.". That way everyone knows I can be a bigger A.H. because I don't give a damn what they think of me.

This really resonates as this is the story of my life. This can be very hurtful but, nevertheless, I "know" that I am "right." No wonder we are loners but, even so, I would rather be me.

This is all happening to me right now during Covid. I don't understand why people don't see the truth and most people can't understand why I care so much and want others to get it. They all think I've lost it and call me a conspiracy theory because my views are unpopular and counter to the mainstream narrative. I've lost lots of friends and family over our differences of opinion, but it's helped me to come into my own and trust my intuition and understand myself better. Isolation also helped me accept aloneness and become even more my best friend. It's been a lonely but empowering time, probably for most of us INFJ's. In fact, I've been saying to myself exactly what this video says, "They’ll choose to listen to their higher self than to people who know nothing about reality." These two years, while highly disconcerting on a existential level, have also been oddly reassuring about myself and what I know and observe.

When I choose peace time and time again, people indeed think i am unbothered. But that is not the case. I let everyone. No conviction needed. That's why unrefined criticism is directly at hand, because the people just can not handle the plain truth. Or accept my answer for what is. Again, I just let it, or let it be. Can 't help if their feelings of inferiority (we all have those btw!!) come to surfaces either, for those feelings were always there, it's just that my presence may make it more obvious. People just don't want to be aware of what they let in themselves; hence it takes a great deal of loving patience and furthermore courageous, strong and consistent hearts to deal with own uncertainties instead of projecting them on fellow people. And they knów this at heart. But, then again, will they admit?

Been my life. Oh how I loathe parasitic politicians. My childhood was painful and I couldn't understand why people were so hateful. How I loathe bullies and I've stood for others who couldn't stand for themselves. I'm matured enough to not be moved by what fools say whence they've trespassed as if my senses were nil cause I rarely speak. However, once provoked , I say more than what they hadn't anticipated on and they tend to stomp screaming profanities. I believe for any to go out of their way to get in yours; like a fool looking to square off with an oncoming train, is only receiving what they intended for you. My childhood was the odd one left out and looked upon as a mistake of nature. I was deeply hurt by this. I reckon; as unbeknownst to me then, brought unwanted attention to myself when I spoke plainly as if common talk only to have been mocked which is why I couldn't handle school no longer and quit at 16 and hitched rides. I've lived from place to places with all sorts of people, good and bad. Nowadays I'm not concerned by attempts of belittling me as many times before, I see 'em coming and leave 'em wondering what just happened.

Yes. My stepdaughter actually got angry at me for defending myself from an unprovoked attack by saying, I don’t want to read your rambling thoughts. The fact is I have always defended others but not myself. I’m overexplaining not feeling worthy of the freedoms I’m requesting for myself. These are natural human freedoms but not in a relationship that was all about everyone in the family unit except me. Baby steps.

100% I got a word this morning "Mocking". Heard it in this video. Read your comment and brought to mind the suffering of Jesus for us. I looked up in the Strongs Concordance the word mock, and it brought me to a scripture about how Jesus was mocked, beaten, scourged and died for us. We pick up the cross of Jesus Christ. We see suffering and injustice and we are mocked also.

I'm am a 54 year old Imfj-a and a believer in Christ never has there been a day I can think of that I ever questioned His Truth. I refuse to be just "woke as they say now days"
I have been awake all my life and even as a young child I knew that life was fragile. I also saw & felt when something was wrong and would follow my inner knowledge of this and find a safe path always minding my own business.
God truly has made my life very fulfilling though I have been through many dark days in my life also. I never backed down from being who He created me to be. I have had many failures also in life but I would correct them as best I could if possible and dusted off and get right back on the path God was leading me to.
I have arrived to this conclusion there is always a better way of being me.
Honesty never hurts anyone it changes lives for the better.

Made me understand a lot of things for me key was protecting my energies that helped a lot and also understand others. I feel conflicted about these videos, i do resonate with them, but i also feel like maybe it's bragging or something? Like maybe we're making ourselves seem that powerful and stuff when the truth is different?, I like videos that are made about us by *other* types, so I'm sure it's not one of us exaggerating our traits
Yup I have been attacked for my open opinions that is others tend to get angry about yet they asked a stupid question I answered it they get angry over the answer they weren't ready for 🤦 for example a post was put up about a dog having fun in the floods and the humans are so worried instead of lighting up and look at the bright side of life life isn't always dull and dim see the light in a weathering storm..
I'm an old INFJ.T, and my conclusion of the world and most of the people in it, there's a useful four letter word, and the world's full of it .
