Long weekend BBQ Burger

  • Hey Guys! Its the May long weekend, and what better than a good old BBQ Burger. Lets make a BBQ Backyard bacon Ranch Burger with more stuff!
    Honey BBQ sauce
    Ingredients
    1 cup ketchup
    ½ cup brown sugar
    ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
    2 Tablespoons honey
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    ½ teaspoon black pepper
    Instructions
    1. Combine all ingredients for Honey BBQ Sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
    2. Bring sauce to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
    3. Remove sauce from heat and allow to cool.
    4. Store in an airtight glass container for up to 2 weeks.
    A&W onion rings ( copycat)
    A&W seasoning ( Dry)
    2 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    ½ teaspoon brown sugar
    ¼ teaspoon onion powder
    ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
    ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1 ¼ teaspoon coarse salt
    Wet
    3/4 cup of all purpose flour
    1/4 cup of corn starch
    1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 cup of cold sparkling water
    Instructions
    Divide the onion rings into various sizes.
    Add the flour, corn starch, cayenne pepper, salt, and ground black pepper to a bowl. whisk until well combined.
    Add in the water a little at a time and whisk until a smooth batter forms.
    Drop a ring in and roll it until it is completely covered in the batter.
    Place the ring into the bread crumbs and shake the bowl until completely coated.
    Repeat the process for all of the onion rings and set them aside on a plate.
    Add 2 or 3 inches of oil to a pan and heat to 350 degree F or 170 C.
    Fry the rings, in batches, until they are golden brown. This will take 3 minutes or so, but there is really no set time.
