- Mount Catherine is one of the many peaks at Snoqualmie pass, and makes for a quick climb with a beautiful payoff. This one is short, but steep, and a lot of fun as a training hike. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this:) I'll be heading up there this next weekend and hoping for the fantastic views you had.
Thanks for this! I live in SC but had an opportunity to hike the Kendall Catwalk a few years ago. Can't wait to get back to Washington! Your videos are like a traveler's guide. Love them!!
Did this hike last September and it's my new go to half day when I need to get away easily hike!
Wow, what a view. A beautiful reward for hard work. Another great video.
so good I watched it twice
Love, love this hike! Awesome video 🤩
This was so atmospheric and scenic, loving the combination of audio and visuals.
Well, I can do short but not steep, so thank you for taking me along on your beautiful hike!
Tinkham Peak looks like an old volcano?
Again, thank you for another trip😊
The mountains around Snoqualmie Pass are indeed the jagged remnants of what used to be a stratovolcano from several million years ago. That's why there's so much granite everywhere.
@@DK-gy7ll thanks for the info!☺️
5:40 Another great video. I don't think it was fire lookout. According to the Forest Service website the trail was built in the 1930s by the FAA for the construction and maintenance of a navigational light beacon on the mountaintop. It looks like the beacon was removed by the 1980s. Fire lookout was a good guess though. 😎👍
Oh that's so interesting! I was thinking it didn't seem like there was enough space or unobstructed view for a lookout, the beacon makes more sense. Really interesting stuff!
