Since you got rid of a park you could remove the old home and replace it with a new park. Maybe even add a small teen hangout area so Addison and other teens have more places
Since the park is gone this can be the “fun house” where all the kids prefer to hang out. Love the look of the Onsen where the hot tub is! That said the hot tub needs to be there somewhere-perhaps on the private balcony off of the main bedroom? Imagine relaxing in that at the end of a long day, taking in the view and unwinding with your partner. Perfection.
@@JessicaKennedy367 That would be a very useful lot trait. Maybe the club system could work as a substitute? Not a perfect solution, but a good way to build the kids’ friendships that would help for the school aspect of the LP. Skills, too, to help with the child aspirations.

They sold the old house for a bit of extra cash towards the pool house, choosing to temporarily rent for a couple of months while the final touches were put in
Reg and Kev should start a hobby of hitting the weekly flea markets to find eclectic pieces to fill their home the rest of the way. And maybe the empty space in their bedroom can be an author’s nook for Reg and a little knitting spot for Kevin so they can relax together doing their hobbies 😊
Maybe i’ll get lucky but James, you need to put a trophy case for all of Reggies trophies! They have the room now 😂😂 Also, I think the hot tub should go on the top balcony and the onsen where the hot tub is now 😋
you should demolish the rental house and turn it into a park and spa or something. Kevin could go with the kids and do his yoga stuff while the kids play in the park, I think that would be pretty cute
I love the house so much! Reginald is probably my favorite character, he started from nothing and now he’s at the top of the world. I think maybe he should open a new park somewhere for the community since he is such a looked up to person. Enjoyed the video, as always!
Kevin gets a knitting area and a yoga studio. Reggie needs a writing room/office! You could put it in the extra space in the bedroom or convert that more formal room if you didn't want to use the potential third bedroom! (Also the microwave will be good if they get another toddler.) Really glad you built a new build, I was excited to see what you'd do with more space.
Especially with the kitchen I’m feeling echo’s of Lady Bigwallet❤ Trying to imagine casual, Hawaiian shirt loving Kevin making omelettes in his signature love heart boxers in this grand house 😄 Great mix of fancy old money and incorporating their personalities thus far, love it! An in-law casita is an excellent idea for Reg and Kev to relocate when the next generation moves front and center. Looking forward to watching the home evolve with the family!
James!!! This is the most beautiful thing you have ever built. Really appreciate how far out of your comfort zone you stepped out + the CC! Love all of it. Good job.
I love the idea of building a guest house in the back for them when they are older and continuing to use the home! It’s like they’ve worked so hard to get this family home and the children want to continue living there to keep the home in the family.
Yes! And maybe before that Addison can live in the guest house during his university years (if he wants a degree) instead of going/moving away 😁 He loves the house so much and never wants to leave it!
This makes me so excited for the next part of the let's play. I love the rags to riches struggle, but the family episodes that come later on are some of the best James does.
I love their new luxurious home! Perfectly suited for the big mover and shaker that Reginald has become! I think that you should use that empty space in their bedroom as an office area. Reginald needs a space for his writing. It would also give him a place to showcase all of his diplomas and awards. Maybe you can allot a bit of the attic space, or the spare room (if you decide not to have another kid) to a butler. This house is huge, and the family is going to be leaving plates everywhere.
Definitely get the Onsen, that just fits this family so well! Also, the space in the bedroom you could turn into Reginals Office Area since he doesnt have one yet
I love your building videos. It's fascinating not only to watch you build but more you explaining why you did certain things. I started watching your channel because of your build videos actually. Then I saw your let's play (it was Seasons, OMG 4+ years ago). And still, to this day watch every video you upload. And I just want to thank you for the work that you do. I know that your video will always put me in a better mood.
I like to use the card table - kids, teens, and adults can all play, builds relationships with 4 sims at once, builds a little logic, and unlike Don't Wake the Llama a card game only lasts for a finite period of time. P.S. If you want to hide the sneak out windows on the inside, you can put a curtain in front of them - sims can walk through curtains.
Since the park is gone, Reginald should turn one of his previous homes into a little park (possible a date spot for the next generation as teens). Also maybe move Sidney and Ava into something bigger (maybe the rental) as they like to compete with Kevin and Reginald.
The smaller home on the same lot didn't work out so well for the Cottage Living LP. Better to have a grandparent suite in the same house. I also recommend putting a small platform next to the door in the garage. Having to step down right at the door can be glitchy.
24:24 You should buy two plants and then place them in those awkward platform corners on either side of the back door to make it look better as there is really nothing in that hallway.
I sure hope the basketball bug has been fixed… I’m not sure if you know this but for a long time if you had a basketball hoop on your lot your sims would constantly autonomously use it! They would cancel interactions just to shoot some hoops. I haven’t tested it in a while but also haven’t seen it being mentioned on the patch notes.
Yah, I think this is still an issue, but it's not as annoying if the basketball hoop is far away and there are lots of other items on the lot. Sims tend to do it less if the lot is enormous because they favor closer activities to where they are. If it becomes a problem, you could always fence in the entire thing and lock the gate unless you specifically want them to play.
I'm absolutely for getting a third child! It could be one that's already a toddler/child also, but it feels fitting that they'd move into this massive house to be able to expand the family even more
this house is so beautiful. it reminds me of Lady Bigwallet’s house at the end of her series, and also the grand estate at the end of the Seasons LP. amazing work James. so excited for the next episode!!
You can totally rationalize the house the family is currently living in. I figure that Reginald and Kevin sold the small house, and then while their dream home was being built, lived in a rental for a little while. Makes total sense!
The second floor hallway looks like Addison was spray painting a rectangular piece of cardboard with black paint and got some on the floor. lol They should hire Hazel to design rooms in the future whenever they decide to make changes.
Really love your Let's play! I started watch when High school came. Little sad that I haven't been here from the beginning though. But I'm here now and you're not allowed to ever stop! 😂
@@irishduchess7577 haha, it’s because I had a meeting just as this video got uploaded, but thankfully it got cancelled so I got to watch it right away 😁 But yeah, I definitely chose that name because it’s very true irl 😅
I think the house actually does fit in despite not quite fitting in architecturally. In small town America, there's always a couple of families with full-on mansions (or McMansions, depending on the area). It actually reminds me of the small town I grew up in! Lots of small, single story houses that were often housing for the "help" and then a few giant, luxurious mansions.
I love this house!! You should definitely play with it with the next gen. This LP is so fun :) Maybe you could do an extreme rags to riches with one of the kids after high-school, they could work towards a restaurant with that Mod you used to make Dine Out awesome. Can't wait to see more episodes
I really like the idea in the future of Kevin and Reginald having a granny flat in the backyard so they can stay close to their family but everyone gets there own space.
I love this build! I hope you will upload this (or a version of this) to the gallery soon. This house would be great for my current family. Thanks for sharing!
"Easy to catch up" ?? I 🤣😂🤣😂 I started watching when Banana moved to Sulani and discovered you had a whole lot more. It took me almost a year to catch up. But I'm glad I did. The Bigwallets and their escapades are my favorite!!!!!!
I know! I think I found the Bigwallets when Bob did Rags to Enrichment. I try to play catch up between let's plays, but I'm only up to Dine out. I'll get there eventually.
this looks exactly like my house but on steroids.. same black shutters, brick all over, white siding on top in some places, and three roof windows also a breezeway connecting to a garage
I agree with putting the onsen outside, and adding in a little wall with an outdoor shower beside it between one of the sets of columns, then putting the hot tub on the outside balcony and a study area for Reginald in their bedroom. Also maybe another rocking chair in there or the hallway, just in case Kev is on the second floor, so he still has a dedicated room but he won't have to go downstairs just to enjoy his knitting. That would fill up the space nicely! You could also add a small bar and a grill in somewhere just in case they throw a party! Maybe near the pool area? Overall, I'm loving this house! I recommend adding the Seasons decorations box and a christmas tree upstairs as storage, simply because you'll want those eventually and that's a good temporary place for them, but also don't forget the thermostats! Definitely add one on each floor (even the attic, just in case) and the sprinkler system and fire alarm since you still have the kid's science lab. 😆
This house fits well for Reginald & Kevin family, much needed space and cant wait to see you play it with them. Love the home 🥰 also good to see you use more colors James 😊
I hope to one day be rich enough to have a house this big. I'd fill it up with IKEA furniture, but living in a 1 bedroom apartment makes me salivate at the sight of all this SPACE.
One time it took me 3 days to build my sims house. It was perfect except for like the hallways were just weird. So I ended up moving my sim into a generic house in the willow world 😂
This is much better, this feels like a well rounded house they can grow into so they don’t have to keep moving. I definitely agree with other comments saying you should turn their old house into a park when they move into this one to replace the park you got rid of to build new house.
This is like a weird amalgamation of the houses I grew up in - my playroom as a kid was also a kind of corridor room into the garage, and then we moved to an original Georgian townhouse in Bath with a living room and general external aesthetic that is basically identical (except it wasn't brick bc Bath) - also not as big as this one or with really any garden. This is very extra. I'm gonna be getting this cc and downloading this house for sure just for the nostalgia.
James, you've used a lot of the "All Square" wall texture. For tiles with doors / arches / windows find and the matching "I've been framed" swatch and use that.
This house looks like every popular rich suburbanite family home from the 90's and it's amazing! Thank you for finally giving me a name to the style! The yard is so big, you could deck it out (lol with a deck and bbq) with the movie hang out projector and little campers kit. Also can i suggest you add in some big landscaped trees like every 6squares or so and then have a dainty little tree in the middle? Here in nz people often use cherry or apple blossom trees. There's desks from the nifty knitting that are colourful and some crafting clutter from parenthood - you could make that extra room like a "craft" room that's essentially unusable except for maybe a kids craft table and maybe easel. Get some cross stitch going in there too lol

Please consider going to the beginning of the Bigwallet playlist and watch the development of this crazy, funny, ambitious family-so worth it! 😊
Absolutely love it! My fave is the playroom I think, everything looks amazing!
Yes!! I’ve been waiting excitedly for this video, and I’m so looking forward to watching this later!! 😆
Your comment fits your username perfectly! Love it!😄
@@irishduchess7577 haha, it’s because I had a meeting just as this video got uploaded, but thankfully it got cancelled so I got to watch it right away 😁
But yeah, I definitely chose that name because it’s very true irl 😅
Even though you don’t normally upload LP houses to the Gallery, and this uses CC, I hope you still upload this. It’s a beautiful house!
Love the contrast between the brick exterior with the black-shuttered white windows. And what roofing magic!
Sorry for the constant comments, but I LOVE Kevin’s knitting room in that it totally fits him!
I’m the same, I comment while watching the video, like I’m having a conversation with him.😂😅
I think the house actually does fit in despite not quite fitting in architecturally. In small town America, there's always a couple of families with full-on mansions (or McMansions, depending on the area). It actually reminds me of the small town I grew up in! Lots of small, single story houses that were often housing for the "help" and then a few giant, luxurious mansions.
I think it would be cute if Kevin knits stuff for kids' rooms (like little turtles or maybe toys)
I love the way you decorate kid's rooms and play areas! They always look so unique and cute and imaginative!
The kids rooms look so good! I love Addison's. Obsessed with Reginald building this giant house next door to Ava and Sidney!
I love this house!! You should definitely play with it with the next gen.
This LP is so fun :)
Maybe you could do an extreme rags to riches with one of the kids after high-school, they could work towards a restaurant with that Mod you used to make Dine Out awesome.
I'll get there eventually.
definitely do the onsen omg it looks so good! especially with all the white in the gazebo
Love the idea of Reginald and Kevin staying there as grandparents!
I gotta say, Deli and Little Dica's packs have converted me to a cc fan. The updated wall paint colors alone are so good!
The fact you can see Sidneys small house next to your mega mansion from the window is hilarious
this looks exactly like my house but on steroids.. same black shutters, brick all over, white siding on top in some places, and three roof windows
also a breezeway connecting to a garage
Don't we all have a "I don't know what to do with it"-room in our Sims' houses 😂
You’re so talented with building
This house fits well for Reginald & Kevin family, much needed space and cant wait to see you play it with them. Love the home 🥰 also good to see you use more colors James 😊
I love this!! So excited for the family to move in
I hope to one day be rich enough to have a house this big. I'd fill it up with IKEA furniture, but living in a 1 bedroom apartment makes me salivate at the sight of all this SPACE.
Sending you all the good vibes for your dreams to become a reality ❤
One time it took me 3 days to build my sims house. It was perfect except for like the hallways were just weird. So I ended up moving my sim into a generic house in the willow world 😂
Been looking forward to this. Love the new house!
Remember to lock computers and is there an office for the adults? If not you could add it to the massive main bedroom.
Beautiful house! Loooove it. Can't wait for more of this Let's Play. Seeing James excited for his builds and Sims is always such a nice thing.
James, you've used a lot of the "All Square" wall texture. For tiles with doors / arches / windows find and the matching "I've been framed" swatch and use that.
As someone who lives in Georgia, I think you did an AMAZING job, i see houses like this all the time, while driving through wealthier counties
I think georgian-style refers to the time period, not the state.
@@JoJo-is-the-name exactly
@@JoJo-is-the-name Mhm, just like "Victorian" homes :)
Georgia does have a lot of colonial style homes which look a lot like this as well
Wow this house is STUNNING! I would love for you to upload it to the gallery even if you normally don't with LP builds.
The second entry would be perfect for a garage granny flat for when the kids grow up.
Very fitting for the family! Loved that you used some deli cc!
holyfrick. i’ve never been this early. 😂i actually really like this home. always love your builds tho!! nice work. please continue uploading always🫶🏽
