Jude Law ages like fine wine. "The Holiday" is one of my favourite holiday movies to date, I love his dynamic with his two young daughters.
Same
I'm Mr napkin head. 😂 Hahaha so cuuute
Wwnt to turkey
Jude Law in The Talented Mr. Ripley is the finest an actor has ever been in a movie
Yes, that movie is truly flawless, and the guy is perfect in it.
Yes….watched it repeatedly….
And, to me, James Mcavoy in Atonement
Best scene ever filmed was Robert Shaw in Jaws telling the story to Richard Dreyfus about his tattoo
@@sandrap4188goosebumps comment and so true!
I love how genuinely excited and happy he is to revisit these moments. It was so pure and entertaining to watch
When my aunt was dying of a brain tumor...I introduced her the The Holiday, she watched it almost everynight before bed because it gave her so much comfort, I watch every Christmas....its one of my favorite movies ever.
i'm sorry, but what a lovely memory
I use to play it every night too and it just lulled me to sleep . So comforting.. Like a blankey but in movie form. I love it! ❤
this is one of the most in-depth rewatches I’ve seen. love it. wish all of the actors did this!
Yes! Same !!! ❤
Totally agree!
I don't know what it is about this format, but it allows for an unpretentious yet intellectual dive into the art of acting. How fabulous. Thank you, Jude and Vanity Fair.
Would've loved for him to talk a bit about Gattaca, that was such a wonderfully nuanced role and a very prescient story
same. That and The Young Pope (granted, that was TV)
Absolutely agree, I would have liked to hear him talk about it too. Even though he didn’t have a lot of screen time compared to Ethan Hawke, he really stole every scene he was in.
You can tell how passionate he is and the memories and how much he puts into each character. Loved this! The Holiday is indeed an essential annual viewing for me
He is such an amazing, versatile actor. I love when they break scenes down, it makes watching the movies again so much better.
That was a blast. He's incredibly engaging and articulate.
His accent >>>>>>> what an actor and personality! this was so interesting and so intriguing. You can feel how much he loves his job. This was so enjoyable ❤
After watching Jude. He is really a professional actor of great stature!!! Wonderful to hear him express his skills and interactions with his films and his fellow actors, More Jude Law, please!
He’s still one of my favorite actors. His films really stand the test of time.
them starting off with The Talented Mr. Ripley, EXACTLYYYY!!!!
Love Jude Law. Wished he’d talked about Cold Mountain.
this was really interesting, I love hearing all these behind the scenes, anecdotes & technical prep
Please put in timestamps/chapters in the future.
How could you miss The Young Pope? Might be genuinely his magnum opus.
more like magnum Poopus LOL
A gem of a show that the general public has completely missed out on
The Holiday is my comfort film!
For my fellow The Holiday fans, it starts at 13:10 :)
Put Jude Law in the most fancy set ever is amazing and genius
Love that he is so chatty, insightful and real here! Excellent video, thank you. I alos loved the one with Kate Winslet!
This was so fun! I could have watched him go through all of his films especially Gattica and Enemy at the Gates. What an incredible career he has had!
Can we take a moment to appreciate Jude's eloquence? Rich vocabulary, no fillers, no stuttering, unlike many American counterparts!!!!!!
I didn’t know he was so articulate and deep. What a display of acting intelligence
What a brilliant actor he's been for all of these years....
The holiday was my comfort film growing up, i've seen het all year round i think it wouldn't be hyperbolic if i say i've seen it a hundred times
I could listen to Jude for hours 😍 He's such an extraordinary and versatile actor! I love everything about him, especially the genuine, joyful and passionate attitude he has in every interview. And let's talk about his hotness🔥 gosh, he'll always be my biggest celebrity crush 💜
so happy they did this with him 😭!!!!
I wish they had done Gattica. I think he is amazing in that movie.
Agree! One of my favourites.
One of my favourite movies ever!!
WIll always carry a torch for Jude Law.
Hard same.
Me too!
GENUINELY love him in every single movie i've seen him in. An incredibly charismatic, versatile, engaging actor. Also wish he spoke about Alfie!!
Favorite Jude bit - voice over narration in Lemony Snickets!!
I still want Sherlock Holmes 3!
For The Talented Mr. Ripley, I get why they chose the boat scene, though I'd much prefer him reacting to the "Everybody should have one talent, what's yours?" scene. Maybe next time!
Such a great actor.
I could talk all day about the talented mr ripley its truly amazing
love how he talks about his roles
Closer is one of my favourite films. Absolutely love it.
Truly it's great and it's a crime that i've never met anybody irl that's seen it
They really did the play service
I´m off to watch The Grand Budapest Hotel again. Thanks Jude!
No “Enemy At The Gates” “Gattaca” or “Road To Perdition”? Smh
Next time!
I was going to say those movies because I remember watching those movies when I was Young
Been a big fan ever since I saw gattaca
Thank you 🙏
It's amazing how Kate Winslet and Jude Law both say the same thing about 'The Holiday' in their Vanity Fair videos. Such magical connections!
Omg thank you so much for this!!!!!
Love Jude Law and all his movies! Would have loved to have seen 'Wilde' included in this with his remembrances of working Stephen Fry. Perhaps next time!
Why is everyone forgetting he was the young Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts? That’s an iconic role as well if not the movie
So engaging and interesting to watch…..thank you ❤
Such a great video, Jude lives his job and that just made this so interesting
Kudos to him for owning his hairline and not getting plugs or anything else like so many other male celebrities are
OMG he takes my breathe away!
Closer is still his best, what a tremendous film
I watch that movie a lot
I rewatched Gattaca the other day. He’s fantastic!
you have missed “The Young Pope”, a masterpiece
We need Sherlock Holmes 3!!!
Jude Law is truly an amazingly talented actor. If you’ve never seen the movie “Road to Perdition” you really should. One of his best, I think.
He has a phenomenal memory
Several of my favorite movies. He’s wonderful in all of these parts.
Grand Budapest Hotel has to be one of my favorite movies. Love Wes’s movies.
Oh Jude!! He's so beautiful!❤
Loved him in Road to Perditon. His slimy character in that was memorable. I still say to my friends randomly, Machiiiiine parts. Thats wonderful.

He looks amazing and is so talented ❤
Jude Law✨ es lo Máximo!!!💕
Él es mi actor favorito❤ Lo adoro❤
Jude is amazing xx
I always had a bit of a crush on him. It hasn't changed. I think he should do a project with Taika Waititi. They have similar artistic views but humorous and positive outlook on situations.
Would've liked to hear about Sky Captain!
Hermoso verlo hablar con tanta pasión sobre su trabajo,si tú no te lo crees como vas a esperar que otros lo crean 💛💙❤️muñeco
he didn't talk about the movie in this video but Side Effects the interview with Jude and Rooney Mara with Peter Travers Peter was like i hear you were named after Hey Jude by The Beatles and they started singing it and Peter tried to get Rooney in and she was like no i will never sing! lol
His skin is fabulous for his age!
Jude you are an absolute master!
One of the great ones.
Love Jude Law
This was fun, but I really wanted to hear him talk about The New Pope (which I loved so much).
amazing. thank you :)
Still waiting for Sherlock Holmes 3!!
Hey Jude!
I see him as president snow in the new haymitch hunger games movie☺️
He is such an amazing actor and aging like fine 🍷
He's really growing into himself as an actor, imo.
@RealVanityFair GREAT SHALL I GIVE YOU MY EMAIL ADDRESS AND BANK DETAILS?
That's a movie star. Disney could learn a thing or two, given their recent casting decisions.
Mi actor adorado ❤
The young pope should’ve been mentioned most underrated performance and show
Sherlock Holms 3 pleaseeeee!
Jude Law looks like the English version of the Italian footballer, Allesandro Nesta
Can't wait for Sherlock Holmes 3 !
No time stamps?
JLaw - fab actor. Great in everything.
Closer sounds better than it was cast. Interesting about working with Speilberg.
So respectful of all his fellow actors.
JLaw widely and exclusively refers to Jennifer Lawrence. You can’t just type out Jude?
sadly he didnt bring up the Pope, the series were exquisite
After watching his son in Masters of the Air I would really love to watch them both in a movie in a father son role. They look the same
i call him " The Lawman!!" Jude law 😁😁
You should have asked him if he thinks that his character in The Holiday is still with Amanda (Cameron Diaz) considering a crux of the movie was the long distance relationship but then they just never addressed it 😔
It’s a romcom
I love Jude Law. I first saw him in Captain Marvel, and he wowed me. I did loved him in the fantastic beasts series too, along with Peter Pan and Wendy as Captain Hook. I can’t wait to see him in Star Wars-Skeleton Crew next! 💚
That Guy Looks Like The Male Version Of Emmy Rossum And Thomas Newman!
He aged very well tbh
Sure is handsome and his narrative so aware
RIP Tom Wilkinson December 2023.
No love for Gattaca?
Gattaca!
Too bad he didn’t talk about Contagion, he was great in that movie. Quite the opposite of the type of character he usually plays
❤❤❤❤❤
