Matt D at first I laughed out loud - now I'm thinking this is not such a crazy idea?! How awesome would it be! Haha Wouldn't even surprise me if road safety was improved, without all the bs rules and bureaucracy these days
@@Tutamunga All the soccer moms and elderly and distracted millennials are more dangerous in the road than your average car enthusiast. At least those guys have more driving skills because they have taken themselves to the limit many times, and have learned control in extreme situations, and learned from their mistakes.
Brought a tear to my eye to see two old Fords at speed and in such awesome condition. Strange its not the USA but damn special. At least they are being loved and cared for.
As an arab muslim studying in the United States, Mike's words resonate pretty well with me. I made friends and ties here mostly through a shared passion for cars. 8:33 Mr. Musto, no truer words have been spoken. #WeAllSpeakHotRod
My brothers first car was a 68 mustang. It was gold w/ blk interior and stock rims. If I remember correctly he bought it in 1972 - 73. Took him a couple years but he made it into a bullet car. He still owns it and its had a couple face lifts over the years. Maybe 4 or 5 years later he turbocharger it when turbos were starting to become popular. Put a teardrop hood scoop on it and Craiger s/s mags then painted it canary yellow. Brightest yellow I'd ever seen on a car. I moved to Las Vegas in 1981 and he gave it one last transformation . It must of been late 80's early 90's when he went thru the entire car and updated parts and the final color is like a gun metal gray. According to him it get driven once or twice a month and each year in the city of Papillion parade. Thanks again Big Muscle for trip down memory lane!
I love that analogy of having cars bring us together, that is true in sports, music, and even fashion. Its a common ground that we really need. That ford though looked magnificent.
Please tell me that somewhere out there in dubai, there is a 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT painted black and done up mad max style. That would be amazing in that desert setting.
I... am...colossally...jealous... What a fantastic place. Great film, I envy you guys and citizens of the UAE. I can't even afford to fly my ass over there for temporary vacation. Glad to see people having a good time with cars either way!
This is great. Great shots of a great car, and not overhyped. Just cool drivin in the hot sand....doing some Detroit diplomacy. Good to see on all levels. Like the message. That car does have a great stance too. Nice job fellas.
/Big Muscle goes to the middle east; ends all world crisis through the great equaliser of automobiles. Oil prices drop to pre 70's prices and everyone buys a V8. Amen
Mike! That bit about "The Great Equalizer" was so dead on! Hell yeah, dude, that took the piece for me. The Mustang was legit as hell, and the F-250 Prerunner was awesome, but for me, the best part was "Hot Rods are The Great Equalizer, baby."
This is my new favorite episode of Big Muscle! Two badass Fords which just now became part of my dream garage... I hope they ended up driving that red beast!
There just isn't enough room for the "like" on this plus the gigantic grin induced by the red F-100 at the end. What a marvelous thing to share with us!
I had a 67 coupe in the same color with a top loader four speed on a 302. It had all the typical speed equipment such as headers, limited slip, Crane cam, roller rockers, etc. It was a blast to drive! I sold it during a change in life to buy several boats and a new RV trailer. It is now being driven in Europe!
That stretch of highway is as beautiful as the car. Like the southwest with a twist. As usual with Big Muscle, the cinematography is superb and you keep topping the last episode. :) #weallspeakhotrod
I haven't laughed out loud and enjoyed so much a video since the 36 turbo Chevy truck dragster. I have a restored 35. It does a quarter mile in a few minutes. And stops a minute later. That Ford rocking the sand just made me giggle.
the thing about the 68 mustang was it was the first year for the 390, which is what the Bulitt car was.... with a racing 5 speed and McQueen double clutching it for whatever reason, plus factory option glass packs and a 9 inch with limited slip, unlike this one that's obviously an open differential. Off road they may not care what you do, but on road Dubai has the most amount of radar traps that you will ever see and tickets are INSANELY expensive. CagerOnTwoWheels rented a Vrod while there and had to be VERY careful in how he rode it.
You just know these vids are too good when they leave you with a stupid grin on your face. Well done drive for giving us these quality videos, thank you!
“We all speak hot rod.” - Mike Musto #quote #hotrod #unity #drive #roadkill Big Muscle needs to do a special with Roadkill. Same thing with my Hamradio I can talk to people all over the world and sometimes I get too talk to certain countries and no joke I wish I was living there because a lot of things we do in America are 10 fold more in other countries this video was definitely one more favorite for me
We all speak car and we all speak hot rod.... That's true and, boy this is one of the best car videos I have seen so far this year!!! .... But in a land where fundamentalism still rules the day, leave a bad after taste.
It doesn't matter who rules what country. What does this guy and his car have to do with politics or corrupt leaders? And this is the UAE not Saudi Arabia. It's a very free country.
For the record, the 7:18 mark is true but you can buy a Desert -Thermostat that opens at 150 F and not the usual 180-210 F in Northern America . You would need the massive custom aluminium Radiator that is extra wide and about 4 inches thick while it would also have 2 Electric fans to draw air across the Core to aid the Water Pump fan . One trick to do is to use a smaller drive--wheel for the water pump to increase its RPM's for Coolant flow because the 160F thermostat won't close which mean that coolant is never held in the rad to cool . This Mustang lives in a hot climate with Highways. The high capacity rad with a faster RPM pump and 2 Electric fans could keep the temp around 180F as long as the Thermostat is a Desert 160F unit . I would also add a ram-aim snorkel system from the grill to both sides of the Engine near the Headers to blow cooler air down on them to go under the fire wall and dissipate the heat to reduce some of heat in the Heads that the coolant flows through.
i own a 71 camaro with a 350ci and live in dubai as well, and my father owns 5 trucks from 64 all the way to 78, and a couple of trans-ams. and yes :") we can only drive them 3 months every year
According to Hot Rod Legend Steve McQueen had the 68 Corvette motor and 4-speed put in the 68 Mustang for the stunts. A friend of mine saw the car with the Chevy small block in one of the Mustangs on the set. The effort was to make the car lighter, with more horsepower and better shifting.
You deserve a standing ovation for the words spoken in this video. My most sincere congratulations!
Bruno Oliveira Thanks Bruno. Appreciate it man.
Drive BigMuscle I have always believed cars will bring peace to the world. This video is beyond epic. Kudos.
Bruno Oliveira Well said Bruno, Vote Big Muscle for World Peace Initiative ! : )
I totally agree Bruno
Yea until they unfortunately use that car for a VIED and blow up you or your buddy.
Brothers In Cars... This is what it's all about right here... We're all one, united by these crazy machines...
Thiago Carvalho I love you man...(wipes tear).
***** hahahahahha one love brotha!

next video : the red ford
please :)
Hussain Lafi That thing made me giddy
want it so bad
Hussain Lafi No, next video: the camels. Cuz even my Volvo can do a burnout in 2nd without positrack
Wonder if the peg leg was in tribute too? The car in the movie was a peg leg too.
Hussain Lafi Absolutely! I have a 74 F100 long bed and I would absolutely love to do this to it now hahah!

brilliant brilliant brilliant, lovely looking bullitt build as well
Bullitt was the reason I bought my S-197. I love my mustang so much. It's so much fun to drive. It's mine for life.
I feel bad for the detailers in Dubai. The sand must do a number on the paint!
Fair point, it's probably smoother than my local, rocky SoCal desert/beach sand. But still... Even if it's 4000 grit sandpaper, it's still sandpaper.
computiNATEor Well it's only the desert side , the city is clean as Florida
computiNATEor why would you feel bad for them? that means more business?
All that sand means they probably have a lot more work to do, yes, but their work can be undone in a single day. :(
computiNATEor We use table wear cleaner on the car without water to protect from sand shit runes paint.
I want to see that pre runner on an episode, that thing is beautiful!
That truck at the end was awesome. Never the less great episode.
There just isn't enough room for the "like" on this plus the gigantic grin induced by the red F-100 at the end. What a marvelous thing to share with us!
That was the best video on drive this year! What an experience.
That Mustang Is So Perfect !!! I love it.

This is car goals right here, a '68 fastback that drives well,it just doesn't get any better
Great work Mike. All I could think of was Bullitt
I love that both the car and the truck, both similar in age, completely different styles, are so equally badass
It’s not often I enjoy a video as much as this one.
Burnout for The Camels Mike......"Do it for The Camels" :)
irishpat64 LOL!
+irishpat64 that camel weight over a ton and if it fell on your car. lol say good bye to it
tHis is an authentic tribute no bullshit thrown in
That stretch of highway is as beautiful as the car. Like the southwest with a twist. As usual with Big Muscle, the cinematography is superb and you keep topping the last episode. :) #weallspeakhotrod
That's the power of the automobile. It's a language in its' own and it's a worldwide culture. That's why I love it.
Love /BIG MUSCLE... can't wait for the next video.
That is not just an amazing car, this is THE CAR. The godfather of all!
WOW! All smiles watching this episode! Good job guys!
Beautiful car, and a dream of a landscape to drive in 😍
An insight into the world wide passion of cars. Race, gender, political views, and religion are instantly taken out of the picture.
Sounds like the Car Chase......
Any suspension upgrades to get em to grip is wise. Man that 68 sounds great.!
Fabulous words, loved hearing them. Frickin love the car too!!
thanks for all these great videos..this one had me choked up.
Look man, This Is The Car That The King Of Cool Drove. ‘Nuff Said.
this is real awesomeness the red ford truck was mind bogler

LOVE the triangular smoking window!!!!!
Please please please I hope the next Big Muscle is about that Ford Pickup!! That was freaking awesome!
Man, this video makes me REALLY want to get my '69 Mustang running...
Slick! Nice open road in a spectacular car! SWEET!
No words. Thank you big muscle
One of the best looking cars ever made
Fantastic but please tell me that F Series will be up next!
You just know these vids are too good when they leave you with a stupid grin on your face. Well done drive for giving us these quality videos, thank you!

I really hope it is
Teddy Meredith I
Good God, this car sounds soulful !
Well done, hopefully you have an episode coming with that red truck in it.
Really solid episode, one of my favorites
Had the 67, it was fun as a teenager. I cant see myself in one today, im not a teenager anymore.
Awesome video! definitely should do a video on that Red Ford truck!
Not a ford guy but I can appreciate a fine piece of sheet metal when I see one.
Truck appears to be a 69 f-100 Ranger. 69 was the last year of metal grill, and slightly changed from the 68 I drove for 18 years.
Really liked this vid I coulda watched the ford fly along the roadside all day
i am not a big fan of mustangs but this car sounds and looks great ....
Looking forward to the next episode ;)
Everywhere I go with my kit car I end up chatting to someone about something car related :)

The dubai touch was special ❤
No Fucks Given Ford F100. The end.
Crusher103 Just wait...
Drive BigMuscle You just gave everyone exactly what they wanted to hear Mike
Truck was cool and all, but wow that body-style Mustang really is one of the sexiest things ever.
One of the best /BIG MUSCLE ever!!! #WeAllSpeakAutomobilian
I love this show. Muscles will never die👽✌️
Awesome! Love my '70 428 Mustang. I know about the heat, Texas is brutal.
Made me smile and laugh… Mission successful fellas ! : ) More please !
Ugh! What a beautiful experience! Lucky, lucky dude!
(6:48 btw!)
Great videos and awesome cars. However, can you guys wipe lens/filter that you use? Last 3 vids have some spots at 10 and 2 o'clock. Thank you.
Great video Mike!
Roundabouts are God's gift to learning to drift
great video and location.
that Mustang is begging for a Detroit Locker.
Dubai Locker?
When the vid started i just thought of MadMaxx with all that sand around. Sickkkk mustang!
What's so great about spinning on the dirt ,except get a beautiful car filthy and scratched?
Would love to know what mufflers and pipe design this car is running. What a sound!

Steve's son Chad said in a recent interview that the car they used in the film had a 427 swapped into it. Nice!
Great Video , Hopefully cars and crazy Machines help set aside peoples differences.
Beautiful car, beautiful location. Surely the heat problem is possible to engineer around?
Great Vid Mike. Come on now that trophy truck is the same owner of the bullit stang :D
Mike needs to convince this guy to bring it to SF to play with Mr Angry for a modern day replay of Bullitt.
I wouldn't be amazed if glass was shooting out of the tailpipe.
Best episode ever!

Thoroughly enjoyed this one mate! Thoroughly. Class for sure. When do we get to see the truck?
Hi. Came to Brazil - San Panblo, to drive a real Bullit with 390 engine and sign by Chas McQueen.... it will be my pleasure...
