@@elejzen3295 yeah its not but I'm not buying it because it has to be the best of the best keyboard. If I cared about the case i would've just gone for the 60he and bought a redux case. Plus I'm not modding it until I want to. The features you get are basically refined in the software, hardware, compatibility than other companies.
Watching this ahead of time while I wait for customer service reply to change my zinc raw case to the white Zinc v2 case. Hopefully you guys respond! Ordered the 80HE module, zinc (white v2, hopefully) + double shot backlit keycaps. And Gateron Magnetic Jade Pro's (separately). This will be my first custom keyboard where I assemble. Coming from a ducky 2 for almost 10 years. This is super EXCITING!!!
hey guys any chance of us ever getting a wireless 60he? I've bought two one for travel and home and honestly traveling would be just so much better without the wires.
Why is it necessary to install the switches facing north? Due to the symmetrical structure, a south-facing installation shouldn't be a problem, right? I don't want to use the RGB LEDs because my GMK keycaps are not translucent.
Yes it is totally fine to use them south-facing if you don't care about RGB. It is just for new people to not make mistakes installing it, and potentially having to redo it.
I ordered the one with full keys and a big enter button. I am very excited, waiting for it to reach me. I hope one of our friends will prepare a video for the Pubg game.
3:08 Can you still install the switches south facing for non-rgb cherry profile keycaps? I'm assuming it's just not default like you guys say, but should work fine?
Cherry keycaps like GMK does not hit the switch housing even in north facing position, no need to turn them around. I have a GMK set with no issues on the old 60HE, no reason the new switches would be any different.
You mentioned how the switches need to be placed to match the LED on the north side but what if you are using a Cherry Profile set of keycaps (for example a set of GMK Keycaps)? I assume you would still want to place the switch so that it faces south.
The switches have changed housing so even with GMK cherry style keycaps etc there is no problem with north facing. Afaik you can run them south facing but there is no reason to and it also blocks the RGB.
I have a question: Are you planning to make 8k true polling rate 60HE as well? I want wooting for many years using and there are plenty 60% options by competitors with 8k true polling rate. For me 80% a bit too big for my hand movement freedom
Can't wait to order this! Is this the raw version of the zinc alloy? Will this look nice with white keys or should I go white alloy with white keys?! @wooting you guys are toppers!
@@Wooting Well it really was a pain. Especially pressing it in the little wedge without it coming loose again. Why didn't you make that cable a bit longer?
Can you add pg up and pg dnjust to make the keyboard more accesible for 3rd party aluminum cases please I need 10 of them for my my business and it would be very appreciated if you add that or make a wooting 85he
The way its shown to open the case it cant be done if the pcb is in place, how will you push from inside out when there is a pcb in place?!?!?! Omg who designed this and who gave it a go ahead for production 😂.
The JST connector on my module is so loose that the cable keeps coming off so easily :( I had to skip the routing the cable step because of it or I will have to do trial and error for an hour.
Watching this like i own one
Soon
No one does besides some wooting employees 😂😂😂 soon though
@@sircartdark I got mine delivered yesterday so i guess many others did as well :)
@ShiroyashaGin I'm watching these reviews, knowing that I have to wait for mine for another 2 months. When did you buy yours? I bought mine in August.
@sircartdark it's gonna be worth the wait I'm loving it so far. Ordered it back in February
thank you, now the fulfillment center can dispatch my module.
Getting mine tomorrow, finally waited 7 months : D
Man mid of November feels like waiting forever
yeah fr
Real, I am still using a wireless office keyboard. Already preordered wooting 80he
Its not worth to waste this amount of money for a plastic case.

Yes it does xD The plastic case is only 10$ more in total. We can replace the plastic case later

It was very easy to install my wooting 80he with this guide, thank you very much!
Just recieved mine, and assembled it (zinc). What an upgrade in sound stock vs the stock 60HE!
Phenomenal!
Haven’t seen such tutorials from any other company, thumbs up.
getting mine within a week, im so excited
Can't wait for mine to arrive (Early November!!)
I got late November to December man pls help me
mine tomorow
This tutorial sounds like the the one from flying in a commercial plane, I love it
3:17 Pierogi reference, let's go!!
I cannot wait until I get mine, so hyped. Happy to bench my 60HE as a pretty display piece lol
Can’t wait to get mine, keep up the innovating fellas. On release this will be the best keyboard on the market and it’s actually competitive
My Wooting 80HE black zinc alloy is shipped and on its way! 😄
My 80HE just arrived this morning!
It’s even better feeling and more important, better sounding than my 60HE 🎉
Are u a founder or why?
@@valevski. I pressed buy as soon as I could before the summer… does that make me a founder?
I tried to use a compass to insert the switches correctly, but now all of them are broken. Please help.

Great video the only thing i want to see added in the future is support for a 7u spacebar on both the 60HE and the 80HE

Is there any case foam on the plastic cases or just the zinc case
Yes there is foam in the plastic version
Yes, there is foam in both versions. Should be exactly the same. :)
^Sander
Does pre built come with a diffrent face plate than the module ?
Yes there is. The module has a PC plate, while the pre-built contains a steel plate.

We are checking if we can make this happen. But we don't have any ETA.
Can't wait to order this! Is this the raw version of the zinc alloy? Will this look nice with white keys or should I go white alloy with white keys?! @wooting you guys are toppers!
i would like a two he module and some cases for the 80he and two he
Hey Wooting!
I want to buy the Wooting 80 HE module, will switches be pre-lubed as well?
If you add the Gateron Jades or Lekker V2's, both switch Variations are factory-lubed! :)
Why no keycaps with the images you put on the pcb?
I saw the first people receiving their 80HE, when can we expect third party reviews? :)
Tomorrow 4PM CEST
I hope a volume knob x media wooting is in the near future. Cause some of us need that as salt
Yeah. Assigning keys extra for that sucks. Just add that volume button already.
Plugging in that little cable is the hardest thing I've ever done
If you conquered that, you can do anything in life. 💪

What is your mouse pad?
It was a temporary mouse pad sold on Clackycon. I asked them, they are maybe considering making more.
thank you
24 sep - 7 oct let's gooo
Wait the abs pcr does not have foam inside?
Never mind it's just white and looked different from zinc alloy's foam.

You can open the case if the module is inside. You can check our tape mod tutorial video to see an example.

I Love You Sander
Note: finally justice for frost case
I also made an unboxing video of the Frost Case if you want to see more.
It is unlisted now in our unboxing playlist.
Please offer the option to purchase the Raw Zinc Alloy 80HE preassembled in the future :)
That is exactly my thought.
Nice new vid
just received mine and I can't open the plastic case.
check 7 screws
Raw gang
1-2 weeks for me.
wow
hi
Damn, I'm not going to be able to build my keyboard. As, I don't have any nails. 🤔
use a plastic tool of some sort.
@@Boogeymanjw I know, I was joking. 😛
I didn’t know that my order was not preassembled. Let’s see 😂
It is unless you ordered the module
Mid november, rip EU users 4
months of waiting
I've just missed the delivery guy for my founders 80he zinc alloy 😢
mf ship ma shit already ! lol jk
9 minutes
early
We might get GTA 6 before the Wooting 80HE
Honesty I'm starting to regret the purchase of the new keyboard delays after delays
u guys are way to slow
Why are u saying fucking compass directions instead of left right up down is so much simpler
Thanks Sander
