I switched to the high-end tier of Adidas Predators because the cheaper version of the shoes were burning hot when I played on turf in a hot day. The materials made a huge difference, as they stayed cooler. They may have some positive placebo effect. For sure I was able to start shooting harder and have less ankle injuries. Also less blisters and less sore feet. I've had the same high-end boots for 11 years now playing twice per week most of the time. Less expensive boots are good when you're finding your playing style, position, or still growing. Once you know your style, ex: speed, dribbler, or want to be a strong shooter, and your feet won't grow, then get shoes that will last you forever and they'll be well worth it as you age.
@Rucar nowadays all nice cleats are light so I'd just look for small studs. Nike vapors or what CR7 uses or Naymar used to would match a speedster style
Ok so I'm 16 and I bought a brand new pair of asics (do asics make Rugby boots, football boots, or both) right when the covid lockdowns here in Australia started. I haven't play a single game just training for the last 4 months, and already the innersole is manky and the toe of the boot is peeling off from the sole. What boots can I find that don't do this. Also this happened with my last pair which were the cheap version of predator.
In conclusion to this video, the reasons why there are some expesnisve boots & some really cheap boots is all due to quality. Like mike said, as the price of a boot drops so does the quality. 👍🏾
@@lils2968 if anything take this to account. Higher you pay in the chain. Quality is World Class. Comfort and material is superior for longer years (3-6 years). I currently have a pair of vapor 13 pro in the new lights pack colorway and everyone on my team thinks it's the elite variant
With a child (14 years old) who plays on a high level soccer team, they are playing on both natural grass and artificial turf fields. She has been playing with the Nike Mercurial MG cleats since I wanted a pair of cleats that would work on both surfaces to help protect from injury. For instance if the Copa 19+ is discounted to ~100€ while the 20+ is retailing at 200€+ then I suppose it’s a no brainer the 19+ is the way to go. Just like cars really I suppose, where buying the latest model makes no sense over a year (or more) old model for the best bargain.
