    I have been wanting to do those. They are a lot of work, though. Bravo! They look amazing!

      Now, look! You just made that look so easy, I'm going to have to do it! Lol! 😁🥰 Wonderful job on the canning and the video! Have you tasted them yet?

      Thank you! Not to bad. Well, with those oranges anyway. 🍊 I was cutting a slit to peel them at first but found it really wasn't necessary. They all peeled pretty easily & the slices separated easily, too. 😃

      @mymodernhomestead 😆 I had some on some vanilla ice cream. They are delicious!!! A little on the sweet side.... a lot on the sweet side! Hahaha, but the flavors are, ohhh, so delicious. I added brown sugar to mine, and I'm sure that added even more to the sweet. Nice to have in the pantry for sure! I hope you and yours had a great Christmas. ❤️🙏

    Ohhh I need to try this!!! Thanks for sharing Sammy! 😊❤ Bloo is awesome and I love this! I usually end up dehydrating my oranges before they go bad but love this option! Hope you have a Merry Christmas and thank you so much for the card!! 😊❤

      Seriously delicious! They are on the sweet side, but those flavors from the spices were on point!!! I added brown sugar to mine, so I'm sure that added sweet on top of already sweet. 😆

    I love the process and I like them glazed never thought about that ? I want to get more familiar with my kitchen and not be so afraid of it LOL living the RV life for so many years I wasn't microwave junkie or beef jerky girl. I like making big pots of soup like bean soup and tortilla hamburger soup and sometimes chicken noodle but it never tastes as good as my granny's did do you deliver via doordash BTW lol -❤❤

      Thank you. Yes, they are sooo good. Nothing like grannys cookin'!! I love big ol pots of food too. Eat it for the whole week, and it tastes better each bowl or plate. It's been so cold here. 🥶 the comfort food has been good but I am so ready for spring!!! 🌱🌿🌻

      Thank you! They are so good. The flavors from those spices were on point. A little on the sweet side, but I did add some brown sugar to mine, so that probably added more sweet to the already sweet!! ☺️ I had some on vanilla ice cream. 😋 I am happy to have them in the pantry.

    Can you freeze peeled Mandarin ?

    • @bluefeatherhomestead
      @bluefeatherhomestead  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great question. Thank you for asking. I am reading that yes, you indeed can freeze them for smoothies, sauces, jellies, and things of that nature. As far as pulling a slice out and taking a bite when in thaws..... probably not as good as fresh, but hey, why not? I bet it's not horrible. I love your channel name, btw. Is Letty your name, or is this Let it Be??? Either way, I LOVE IT!!!! Have a great day, my friend ~Sammie♡
