*EDIT* NEVERMIND!!! I was looking in the wrong place!!
thank you anyway for the video!
Hey there! im the one that commented on your maintenance yesterday about getting my first bike, a GZ250! Well i got it! im going to do an oil change on it. Did you ever replace the large and small gaskets/o-rings inside the oil filter housing? i havent checked mine yet but id like to replace them either way. im having a hard time determining the correct ones to buy. 2wheelpros and partzilla have so many part numbers relating to "gaskets" but they dont describe where the part goes or what its for. other websites were little help as well. if you have no insight on this, no problem! the ones on my bike are likely fine, i just like to replace rubber things whenever i can, because i know it degrades.

I always use adeptpowersports.com they have pictures that show the exploded view of everything and part numbers right there. Thats the easiest way. Dont know where your at in the world but we have an awesome shop in AZ that i have called and spent awhile on the phone tracking down parts. I never replaced those so i have no reference, sorry.

Did u unscrew the oil drain bolt counter clockwise? I'm having a hard time removing that bolt!

Yes, counter. I had a tough time too. Did yours sit for years? I would use a 6 point socket and a decent ratchet. I used a 1/2 inch setup. It came off easier.

@@cobravids Probably a year, mine still has a lot of it's original parts from factory. I'm using an hexagonal 17 mm socket with a ratchet and the thing just won't come off!

@@towerxz8719 You could try some heat. Not too much just enough to warm it up. There is only a brass washer so no rubber. I would just put some break free or good penetrating oil and let it soak. Then put that socket on there and a big ratchet and just ease in to it. It will come loose. Mine sat for 16 years in the original owners garage and only started a couple times. It only had 2,000 on it. And I had several leaks once I started riding, shifter seal and clutch seals.

I had to stand mine up to get the rest of the access oil out of it.

Yes it does hold a little more. Very minimal. Normally you would want to stand them up. In this bike I changed oil every 1 to 2k miles so it never really got dirty. Mine took right around a wet to fill up. I refused filter very often changing at low mileage. That thing ran pretty good.
