This 'Festive Prelude' you have composed, Paul, is a wonderful homage to the Marc-Antoine Charpentier 'Te Deum' - it has all the celebratory feel of that great piece . . . but not the more challenging sections in the Charpentier score! BRAVO!

Hi Paul; tempo and the pedals distinguish this. Did a little research and found versions belting on too fast for me. You have found the heart of the piece. It's quite possible to picture this as a court dance in baroque days. Another type of tap.... Nice one. T.
