I love your Square Neck Tee! The contrasting trim looks so chic! I have made the pattern twice in black and blue linen (100%) and loved the result. I may be tempted to make it again and use your contrasting I cord trim.
I never doubted you for a moment on the jelly bag. I saw that spark in your eye. It is such a wacky choice, and I love it for you. So funky and fashion
Ok, here’s a comment from the grandma generation-Cast On magazine is a publication of The Knitting Guild of America (TKGA). Local guilds can join TKGA for an annual fee and individuals can join, too. Digital copies of Cast On are included in the membership fee, which is quite reasonable. TKGA offers a Master Knitters program and certification. Spinnerin was a yarn manufacturing company, so that pattern publication was one of their marketing tools. I imagine that all of the patterns contained within were made with that brand of yarn.
The Square tee look so cute and classic😍 I have been clearing off my needles. At the moment I just have one pair of socks (I always have socks on the needles), one top the Magna Flora, the sweater Vardag (which is soon done) and the big masterpiece a coat in houndstooth pattern flat colourwork in pieces the Houndstooth Jacket. 😅 I'm going to frog a ribbed sweater and do a hat instead because I ran out of yarn. And that's it. Love your podcast's.
Loved seeing your magazine finds. I have a stash of Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits and Knitter's going back to the 1980s and 90s. That Aran book is wonderful and I've knit several patterns. I hope someone appreciates my collection when I am gone, LOL. I just can't get rid of them. Especially the Vogue Knitting are real treasures.
Love the drape on your polo! Niiiice. My mom had a ton of knitting pattern books from the 50s and 60s. What a hoot to look through them and see all the twin sets and the suits. I thought I’d hit a gold mine but then realized they’re all sewn together, which isn’t my bag.
Your Tuileries Polo came out so well! I love those pearlescent buttons, I am definitely putting that pattern on my queue to make. I want to make more garments that have buttons because I have quite a stash of them.
ur summer knits r very much inspiring my ravelry queue as we're just about to hit spring / summer season in australia...also cool find with the knitting mags - coincidence that maggie's ireland appeared as i bought that one secondhand 😆
Your tee looks so nice on you! I love navy and white also. What a find on the magazines. Maybe you could steam those edges and they will peel apart easier? Are you going to NY sheep and wool? I’m working on a second sock. It was 111 In Southern California yesterday. I figured out I don’t need more than a few wooly sweaters living here 🤦🏻♀️ soooo have no idea what is next other than starting on some gift knitting.. and Oslo hat and a sweater for 7 yr old grandson. Going to use Lana Gatto VIP 80% sf merino and 20% cashmere for the hat. It feels luscious 🤤 great episode I really enjoy you
Next up in the jelly saga: Y2K skirt? 👀 [Also, totes stealing that crochet slip stitch idea. Gotta rescue my Umbria Summer Top from stretched neckline hell LOL]
the old book with water damage is so fun and so tragic. You are a yapper but I am also a yapper so I appreciate it. Currently working on Lily Kate's On the Dot sweater
I love the tuileries polo and fully intended to make something similar this year, but I totally skipped all summer knits and just did fall/winter all year. Bad choice for a fellow NYC knitter with this heat and humidity...
those two tees are vey cute!!I think I need them especially because they need less space in the closet than a sweater. I am running out of space for sweaters!!!
Such gorgeous FOs! The idea to do to crochet slip stitch on the collar was so good. It sits really nicely now. I'm knitting Halloween socks and trying to maintain motivation on my Clint shawl. The sea of garter is not calling my name though man.
Very nice pieces! I love all the blues and whites, very classic. Currently working on a Field cardigan by Camilla Vad in this naturally dyed wooly wool from @Woolentwine in her blush colorway- and almost done with my Anker tee ribbing in cotton merino from KFO in petroleum blue. It’s like 60 degrees Fahrenheit here in Ohio today so I have a feeling fall is officially almost here.
I took your comment about loving the CoBaSi yarn to heart and bought it. I made the Hope Tank with it and I love the yarn. It is so bouncy and works like wool yarn but is much cooler and drapey
I am in the same boat with wrist pain! Wrist braces aggravated it for me, I’ve finally settled into a routine between lever knitting and knitting in the round (I need 2 projects to switch between). As long as I alternate regularly my wrists do alright.
Comment on the non symmetrical blanket: i wouldnt say it's non symmetrical. What I would say is top and bottom are different so that you can easily distinguish which is which ☝🏻😌 Useful? Absolutely no. But it would seem like it was planned😁
What does the tag in your garments say, is it 내일? I really love your knits, they suit you very well! I just finished off a shirt (SABAI top by paulaM) and started a new one (Ankers Tee by petiteknit). The color scheme is exactly like yours, though it‘s not mixed. SABAI is offwhite and ANKERS is blue. For fall I decided I wanna make a cardigan but I haven‘t found a pattern yet that I like. I see so many cute ones but I‘m never sure if they‘ll look good on me 😅
Hi, 🤗, Future Fiber, I am watching this video of yours, here. I think that Black or the Navy Stripe Tank Tops would be really nice on you in a Red & White color made by you. 👍👍👍. 🤔🙄🙂😉. Just saying. I am New to your videos. And like what I heard about your knitting., here. 🆒🆒🆒🆒. I do Crafts, too. I Knit by hand + Flatbed Knitting Machine, Crochet, Embroidery, Needlepoint, Sew by hand & by Sewing machine. That's about it. I hardly use expensive yarns just rearly. Ok. Have a Blessed Saturday, 9/7/24. 2:00 pm. Sincerely, Elsa R. 64 yrs. young/old woman. From out in California. I'm really Happy I found your site. Thank you for making it. I like seeing young people knitting & crocheting. Ok. It's 🆒🆒🆒🆒🙂😉👋
Very interesting to hear you refer to yourself as tall when all my life I have been led to believe 170cm is VERY medium for a woman (too many tall women around me??) x) Fingers crossed you'll have a few more warm days for the new tank once it's finished!! It does look like a quick project ;)
@@futurefiber Yeah, a lot of my s.o.'s and my friends are potentially just giants. Also all my cousins are a good 10 cm taller than me, my perception is def biased LOL
Do a shot everytime Jenny ran out of Ultra pima yarn 😂😂😂😂
OH no you might be Very Inebriated
the square tee looks so classy paired up with the pearl necklace
The fit of the square neckline tee on you is just perfect, congratulations, a very nice garment 😊
I've added that pattern to my favs ONLY because it looks so great on you.

I'd love to find some Vogue Knitting mags!! I have THE vogue knitting book and it's been so helpful 🤭

SHRUG PULLOVER from your knitting mag!! Fantastic!
Your square neck tee looks so classy and elegant.

They do temperature infinity cowls. I think there are a few free patterns on Ravelry.😊
Next up should be a jelly top! Chase your jelly dreams.

I'm sooo jealous it's still not cold enough in NYC :(

Love your nails !
💅 thank youuu they took way too long to do lol

good video
The top of a blanket SHOULD look different than the bottom - IMHO. Well done

If you didn’t talk, I wouldn’t follow you. I don’t like videos with no or little talk, and there are plenty of those on TH-cam. You’re wonderful.
