Tony thank you for doing this work… my brother was in a toxic relationship for 12 years… he faced homelessness, lost his job, lost custody of his six kids and had a stroke… the day he went back to his ex after no contact he had a heart attack and was placed on life support and died shorty after… he refused to leave this relationship and it cost him his life his sanity and quality of life…. Toxic people will destroy you from the inside out and those around you have to watch as their loved one becomes a shell of a person… please leave and never go back it will cost you everything ‼️‼️‼️‼️

I finally walked away and for good after 5 months. Thank you Lord for giving me the strength to get up and leave. I knew in my spirit something wasn't right. I now have peace and I love it

Done! My husband informed me he wanted to date, so we divorced after being married for 38 years. It is not easy to let go, but it can be done with God's Grace and Mercy. I am proof of that! My life is precious to me and I don't have any more time to waste with someone who did not love me...

Yep very dangerous, mine tried to strangle me and then spat in my face, he punched the wall and hurt his hand, then he tried getting to me and stomped his toes. I said that's God punishing you. When I got in my car to leave, he put his middle finger up at me. I blocked him and never spoke to him

But you know how some men are they feel like another man can't tell them nothing but this time I believe what broke the camel's back is when he had this triple bypass heart surgery 3 months ago, all his girlfriend did when he got out the hospital was verbal and physical abuse him and he was the financial provider in the relationship because she wasn't working with 8 kids none of the kids not his but took her in to live but this time she threw a table at his chest knowing he still healing from a major surgery. I could tell a book on that toxic relationship. Am just glad he finally made a decision to leave.

I've left some very toxic and abusive relationships. It's like ripping off a band aid, you just have to do it. Or it can be like quitting something "cold turkey." Your mind and body can be addicted to this person and addicted to the emotions or the sex, but you have to just do it. The toxicity is addictive in it's own way and can make you feel like you're going through real withdrawals. Just make sure you have a safe place to go and get away!! Go no contact if you can. Especially in the beginning, because they will try to suck you back in if they get a chance to talk to you.

He left us without a dime an I have no clue how I will pay the rent! This all actually just happened today. I’m exhausted of this vicious cycle how can I put a definite end to this since we have children together which obviously he doesn’t care for either.
