Keane had high standards and as captain was right to voice concerns about the sham show McCarthy and FAI were running. Also, he was exiled by McCarthy for exposing him, Ireland didn’t exile him. The majority of Ireland were behind Keane - only Irish people I know that didn’t support him were die hard Liverpool fans.
