Great idea to park near a curtain twitcher...i will always remember where i first heard about Limestone worms...Great when you get the stepping stones to yer sen....good video ....big thumbs up given.
@agesadventures there is an even longer one the other way, but it's on private land (a big stately hall). I've been down it a few times, but it's now padlocked up
In all the years I've been holidaying at the Peak District I've never been in those tunnels!! We did Chee Dale a couple of years ago going the other way! It was up through the trees with one hell of a drop down to the river!! Ended up on my hands and knees holding on to tree roots for dear life and didn't give way to any bugger!! 😅 😂 Anyway... great video, made me laugh as usual - worms and squished sarnie! 😂 Have a great week ahead, Jenny!
@bumblejennybee88 Cheers, jenny 👍, next time you're up this way, give it a go. It's worthwhile, 🤣🤣 it always makes me chuckle seeing people going uphills on their hands and knees🤣🤣
You've done it again...within spitting distance of my house and not popped in for a proper brew not like that weak stuff you keep making on the camps...Cheeky sod, how dare you say we have got worms up here...Don't know why that hole is fenced off, might be just for drainage in the tunnel but not sure...Ha Ha...Squashed butty's...serves you right for saying we have worms...There is a fantastic view off the top of those kilns at Litton, steep climb and in a Nature reserve...My mother in law told me that she actually used to catch the train to London from Buxton along that line...Bless her it was the last walk she did with us before she died...Quiet a big quarry behind that second busy kiln and we stop there in the quarry to have a picnic sometimes...(Great for a Wild Camp)...my son Jon made a vid down near the stepping stones and went in for a swim...he got me to go in for a wild swim at Youlgreave a few weeks ago...never again...froze my nuts off and my other lads tried to drown me...its on his channel called Nature Theratree...I'm the fat bald screaming git if you decide to watch it...not pleasurable...What was in that go go juice, the bridge was swaying🤣...like you totally enjoyed this vid even though you do think we have got worms...Cheers Les
@lespickering5080 cheers les 👍, how dare you slate my brews 🤣 you can't beat a brew. That's how rare limestone worms are, even locals don't about them 🤣, I've got a few wildcamps planned for over that way, on my way over to watch that vid now
