I would say this is not a tournament format, that allows for matches to be dodgeable, but the matching system, that tournament was using. If you would not allow communication between teams and seeing enemy team info before team checks in plus making at least 2 simultaneous matches for teams, that would mitigate intentional match dodging.
out of pure curiosity i checked the bracket for the 3/11/22 tournament and the first team i saw were the match dodgers. safe to say that if there's no punishment even after the fact, i'll probably never compete in an official nintendo tournament unless it's offline

@@ProChara fl studio is super easy! You can download the free demo version. Or you can use any software or DAW with mixing capabilities. You can import the audio into there and use a compressor preset on the audio track to start. It will level out all the audio so everything is the same loudness without peaking and everything will be smooth. You can also eq Audio If you need to, but not necessary for what you’re doing. There are a ton of tutorials on TH-cam if you need help!

Match dodging is the equivalent of "If you dc you don't lose GSP." In Smash Bros.. It's literally the same thing.
