Hello, do you have any videos with your quizlets for the ptcb linked in your description box?
quizlet.com/Shondrica
Sorry about that 😊
Is there any difference of being a pixie administrator and being in patient pharmacy tech are they the same or is it different and do you have to have training to be a inpatient pharmacy tech or a pixie administrator.
Hii, so there is a difference in between the two. I’m kinda doing both, but if I was strictly a Pyxis administrator I would need training on the Pyxis like how to load pockets and move pockets make space it’s so much they do that I don’t know. They’re the ones that build in the medications and make the list for drugs that go inside it.
@@ItsDricaaa So I have my farmer technician license the PTCV so would I have to go back to school for the pixie and then is greater or do I have to go back to school for inpatient pharmacy technician because I already have my PTCB license
How long have you been a tech for? And I have to ask was the pharmacology course hard in college?
Hii, I been a technician for 7 years now . When I took Pharmacology in college it was a little hard only because I didn’t have a great study method; I started using flash cards and it made studying easier
Hello is pyxis administrator a part of your job or you were actually hired for it? I am a CPhT myself since more than 7 years but never happened to find a job as pyxis administrator so do you mind elaborating how you got this job! I love working on the pyxis too and IV is my skills
Hii techie😀 that’s amazing 7 years 🙌🏽🙌🏽 so Pyxis Administrator isn’t necessary apart of my job. For the hospital I work at a Pyxis Administrator is a pharmacy tech II, I’m a tech I, but my pharmacist manager knows I want to learn everything so he has me scheduled that shift sometimes, also because my coworker in that position will be retiring soon.
Pyxis administrator does a lot more than what I put in the video but it’s really fun, but wouldn’t do it full time unless I get more pay due to the amount of responsibilities!
@@ItsDricaaa thanks sister! I wish you good luck in your future endeavors!
🥰💛thank uuu
Can you still become a certified pharmacy technician if you got a ticket for possession of paraphernalia ????
Hey hey, so it depends on the type and nature of the conviction, most likely yes if you are otherwise qualified. Once you apply and put in everything I recommend calling PTCB and having someone look over your application while you’re on the phone, just in case they have any questions.
Thank you !
This seems so stressful
😄can be very exhausting but overall only stressful moments I have is with the discrepancies😩 but hoping my boss divides what I do with other pharmacy techs in the hospital soon! 🤞🏽
