Great video! Praise Him In Advance is my jam! I’m thinking about switching from clinic hours to possibly 2nd shift or 3rd shift soon because these early mornings are kicking my butt. I found a few jobs I like, but I have to get through the last of my training with my State to be fully certified. Thanks again for the study videos because I wouldn’t have passed the PTCB without them.

@@ItsDricaaa I work for a non profit Called CareSouth Carolina but the Pharmacy is called CSC Pharmacy. There are 8 Pharmacy locations in the area and I work at the Latta location.

Hii, I recommend going over math practice questions! And making sure you understand what they’re asking you so when you do take the exam and see a similar question everything flows 😀. Also recommend this website www.pharmacy-tech-study.com/math.html

Girllll I couldn't do it lol only because I'm a morning person and hate the fact that I have to go to sleep during the day. How are you liking it? Do you work alone with the pharmacist?
@@ItsDricaaa 😆 I'm so not a morning person. Yes, there is one other technician and myself plus our pharmacist. We also have 2 other pharmacist, but they leave at 2:30am. I absolutely love working overnight! But I do pick up a day shift sometimes for overtime.
Hey, I have a pharmacy tech question.... When I apply for a pharmacy technician position on cvs website, it ask, "Do you have a professional license, certification or diploma" since I have my registered pharmacy technician thru the SC board, do I put that as my license or certification?
If I click yes, it ask for license number and I'm not sure if I seen a license number on my registered pharmacy. technician card.
Hii!! So you would click licensed and your number should be on the left or right corner of your actual license. If you still can’t find it I can give you a website so you can look it up 😀

How do you juggle work and nursing prereqs? I am going back to school to finish up my prereqs and my pharm tech retail job only offers part time if I want to change my hours. I wanted to maintain my full time hours with 1 online class but idk anymore lol.
Hey hey!! I make sure to only schedule 1-3 classes max. Anymore and I probably would go crazy lol also I mainly work mornings 7Am-3pm so that gives me alot of time to do homework and study. Also motivation and being extremely organized 😀 you got this girly! Did you sign up for the class?

Hi Drica, How many Pyxis do you usually fill per one shift?
Hey hey! So for night shift it’s about 8 Pyxis machines and throughout the night we fill more if needed! 😊
@@ItsDricaaa Do You fill all the 8 Pyxis by yourself? for each Pyxis how many medications do you usually fill?
for each shift we fill about 6- 10 machines at a time. Many of our floors have 3 Pyxis machines and some have 2 or more
Do you recomended for someone with social anxiety?
I believe this job requires a lot of communication from what I’ve seen but the majority of the time you’re doing your own thing. If you believe this is what you or anyone wants to do i say go for it! Almost every career has stress, tons of talking and interacting so I say don’t let social anxiety hold you back and do it! 💕
Hey hey! I actually do, I feel like it all depends on the pharmacy you’re working at! Every pharmacy is different, some you don’t have to deal with customers more independent working whereas dealing with customers. But don’t let that hold you back!

Why don't you become a pharmacist?
I was really going to go for a pharmacist at first because I love learning about medicine, but I don’t love how you really can’t move around in the pharmacy world whereas nursing it’s so many nurses jobs you can do.
