Hey hey! So when you get your degree as a pharmacy technician, it doesn't automatically mean you're fully certified. You'll still need to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) to become certified by the Pharmacy Technician. Also if you move out of state, you won't need to get another degree or take the exam over again (only if you didn’t pass it) but you might have to meet the licensure requirements of the new state. Each state has its own regulations, so you may need to apply for licensure and that’s it 😀

Oh that’s exciting! I do but depending on where you’re trying to work. If retail I would try Walmart or Walgreens they usually pay good 😀

I was scared too, but I really enjoy it! I was lucky enough to be in the same state I live for my first contract. If you have a great work history it shouldn’t be difficult for you to find a contract especially if you have inpatient experience. Also working with agencies it’s better pay and may even find a permanent contract. Overall I like traveling and learning about different pharmacies

That’s exciting!! You should definitely go for it!!! And right I wish I could’ve went full time with them, but the pay for that wasn’t the best

Yes sadly, when I took the exam for the second time I had a hospital test that had a-lot of math questions

Oh no that’s not over stepping at all, but evening or sometimes called mid shifts work between 10-7pm or 10-6pm also 2:00-11:30pm

Hey hey! The exam if you would like to be a certified technician. You can always apply for a state registered license. Certification means passing the ptcb exam 😀
