Who cares if Crowder's a narcissist. He uses it to beat the crap out of the left. Not just for fame and fortune. He puts his money where his mouth is. While I don't think he's funny either, he is a thought leader in this culture war, and extremely effective.
Dave, with all due respect, is a mediocre comedian and NPC. He never made me laugh once on Crowder and never said anything profound or thought-provoking. Who cares if he's a nice guy. He's completely irrelevant in the big picture. If Crowder is not successful at what he's doing, Dave will have no future as a comedian unless he becomes a woke comedian.
Dave was not showing up Crowder on the show. He added nothing. I never cared for Dave when I saw him with Anthony and I didn't want him to join Crowder's show either.
Now he whines that he didn't have the topics ahead of time and that's why he was always lost. Does he get the topics ahead of time whenever he's in a conversation with people? Maybe if he read more or turned on the news once in awhile, even CNN, he wouldn't have been so lost. It's literally current events and the same topics we've all been talking about every day for a decade.
Dave only cares about his comedy career. He doesn't go home and read and try to get red pilled. He wants Crowder to give him the topics so he can spend the hours he needs to come up with witty things to say apparently. He doesn't belong on a political show.
Lastly, Crowder hates him because he's more talented and more liked? 😂 How many followers does Dave have? What's his biggest crowd size? Is he even a headliner? Can you recommend any profound statements or intellectual comedy he's done?
Crowder is jealous and intimidated by dingleberry Dave and his talent, so he replaces him with two COMEDIC GOATS Nick and Jim. Does that make sense to you? Nick DiPaolo is a thousand times more talented than Dave landau lmfao.... But Crowder is intimidated and hates talented people, okay, sure.
If Dave wasn't such a doof he'd probably have his own show on mug club right now. But nobody wants to listen to him Those of you that claim to be his fans are exaggerating your numbers. You all consolidate into a few places so it gives the impression there's more of you. 😂 I guarantee more people like Steven Crowder.

Let's give Malice also a lot of credit, he was careful in breaking down and revealing every weird quirk of that contract and work environment without being a 'reaction-video' at the same time.

Malice is a really good interviewer. You don't watch his show for Malice, but for the guest he's truly interested in. Kind of old school in that regard, really, and smart enough to do it well.

In the beginning Landau and Crowder had excellent chemistry, but every now and then Dave would fire off a perfectly timed (slightly off colour) joke that would have the entire studio laughing; and Steven would immediately feel the need to reassert his dominance as not just the company CEO but the "funniest guy in the room"... usually by repeating the same joke.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to notice Crowder sucking the funny out of the room with jealous outbursts that the rest of the room was compelled to pretend was funny. Crowder has been terrible ever since Not Gay Jarod left

I used to do some stand-up, and there's always that competitive tension when when comedians get together. Go to any comedy scene in any city and you'll find an established hierarchy among the comedians. All that being said, Crowder comes off as a real douchebag in this. Especially when you consider the fact that Crowder just made all that noise about the exploitative nature of contracts from the Daily Wire. What's that thing that people say about hard leftists? That they always accuse others of doing what they're doing? The irony.

I think we can start a countdown for Nick DiPaolo now. Crowder was attempting to censor him in one of last weeks shows and Nick seemed to be getting mildly annoyed. Crowder would dance around what Nick could and couldn’t say. He said fuck and Stephen made a big deal about it, Nick won’t last there. He needs to be able to spread his wings and not have someone hold him down.

I recall a Crowder broadcast last year where Steven chastised the whole crew (including Landau) on air for basically talking over him. The narcissism is definitely Crowders Achilles heel. When Landau first started, Steven gave him way more liberty to rip jokes and would stop talking to hear David, but as soon as David slipped into long term employee territory, he got the same condescension as the rest of em.
I only tuned in to crowder for Dave. He made that show watchable and hilarious

Let me put that another way, a lot of folks tuned in to see Landau, but cringed at how bad Crowder was. I think when Crowder was in hospital, Dave took over and it was a fun show. Crowder had definite Tenko vibes, like a Japanese prison guard, making the prisoners laugh at his terrible bits, under pain of death. I had no idea he rested his nuts on his staff... He now has new hostages, so lets send them our best wishes for an early release
Crowder had his beady eyed dad sit in on ever show and you could tell Dave had to tiptoe around with his jokes though. Other than that they were the best shows.

I think this is it 1000%. I remember when Dave first joined the LwC show and he was plugging his show. Crowder then started rambling about how great it was and somehow got on the subject of his own stand-up comedy and was like "Hey....I think I'll open for you when you're on the road." You could tell he completely blindsided Dave, because he was shocked, but knew he couldn't say anything because he works for him. I think it was totally calculated. Crowder knows his solo stand-up never went well. Bring in Dave, who has a huge following and established successful stand-up track record, and BAM! Now you have a packed house no matter what.

It's funny, I always had a feeling that Crowder kind of seen Dave as a threat comedically. Just the way Crowder would somtimes subtlety react to some of the jokes Dave would throw out.
I saw them both live when they came to Royal Oak. Dave was hilarious. Crowder was just meh. Matt McClowery was fucking hilarious too.
Why would he have a limit on how many times he plugged Dave's gig is that wasn't the case? I'll share an instagram post of one of my friends doing a play or art show, just because I want them to have a nice crowd. It takes seconds, just like saying "See Dave in North Jersey at Laugh McGee's the 14th-16th".
Steven has good reason to feel that way. Dave was a far better host.

My wife and I went to see Dave's and Steven's comedy tour last year. Dave came on stage first and was hilarious of course, Steven was not so much. Steve spent most of his time on stage sweating profusely and talking down to our state and the people who live here. Some people actually got up and left early. It's not the best impression to leave.
Crowder has never REALLY been funny. He’s always relied on somewhat cringey skits and the occasional impression to be funny. Unfortunately all of the talent that’s ever graced his show left because he’s obviously a toxic person to be around.
Crowder is not a funny guy... not on purpose anyway.
I hope this means we can get Dave back on Ants show from time to time. This show is where I first heard Dave. I still go back occasionally and listen to some of the episodes. I actually listened to the train conductor one again last week and it had me legit laughing out loud!

I’ll tell you exactly why Steven gave him the shittier contract. He did want Dave to quit. He didn’t want to fire Dave because if he fires him he has to tell the fans he fired him. If Dave quits he saves face saying they couldn’t reach an agreement. This is all jealousy. Steven was very much putting off letting fans know dave wouldn’t be back. First few minutes of the first show after the DW stuff he said “don’t worry dave will be back in a week” then no dave lol
I watched lwc the whole time Dave was on and the amount of comments I saw saying “Dave made the show” or “dave is so much funnier than anyone on the show” people were actually asking for dave to host more shows the few times he did while Steven was out with his heart issues. So I 100% believe he wanted him to quit. He has a ego that will not allow him not to be the center of attention. No one can be funnier than Steven in his mind. It’s the main reason Gerald is the only one that stays consistently on the show. He’s not funny so stevens ego isn’t threatened. I can’t even watch crowder anymore. What a d-bag. I had my suspicions when Jared left and then when Garrett left for FNT but Dave’s story has confirmed what I’ve suspected awhile.

If only Crowder had the self-awareness to realize how hypocritical he looks. Gotta say, I've been watching Crowder for years. I'm done. I remember that there were some rumblings about how he treated some other employees (like Not Gay Jared), but they were all kept quiet by Crowder's NDAs.
Dave is not brilliant.
His reputation is great now. He became LWC's entire comedy staff, and without him Crowder's show is hemorrhaging viewers. That's a solid credit. I've begun to crave the man's views on things, and I can't be the only one to feel that way.

Have you ever noticed how it's always Crowder having conflict with everyone? Sven Computer, NotGay Jared, Owen Benjamin, Dave Landau, Anthony Cumia, Ben Shapiro, and many others that I can't even remember the name of. Maybe it's actually Steven Crowder that is the problem and not everyone else.

Gotta say... considering everything, Ant is really taking the high road and being the 'bigger guy' so to speak by inviting Dave on, they always were a great team and it was shit the way Dave left, way out of line. But Ant is a real guy, and able to forgive amazingly, because he has and always has had huge respect for Dave.

@@robertstimmel1100 just how he slowly moved over there without saying anything while telling Ant that he isn't moving to Crowder when Ant would joke that because of how much more time he spent there even when he was at compound. And it was just after he had been living with Ant for ages then he dropped him while kind of gaslighting him and saying that he 100% isn't moving to work for Crowder during the same period he was signing a contract with them. But the main thing was how he went about quiting compound which was just a text out of nowhere... (except he was spending most his time there so Ant saw it coming and suspected it but would be lied to straight to his face and hadn't been mentioned by dave previously that he was thinking about it at all).

I'm not under any illusion that Steven Crowder is any choir boy, but we watched Daves side. Maybe he confirmed some bias, but I'm not sure about some of this.
