I'm a young lawyer and I started going to Mumbai HC from past 3yrs before that I used to practice in district courts in Kalyan , thane , raigad. After watching this I can tell you whatever you said is 💯 true . All young lawyers can relate and we all have made such mistakes and later we learned from those. I personally have used such hacks .. in law field it really matters how you use your words n how you present your submissions before the courts..

This is really a tried and tested method. The basic principles that make it work are being direct and honest before the Court.
There might be an occasion when the learned Judge might ask for why the arguing counsel is unavailable. It's better to state the truth instead of making a story which can easily be questioned by the opposite counsel. Once upon a time, a lawyer stated that the arguing counsel was out of station, while in reality he was arguing in another courtroom. The opposite counsel was quick to expose the lie and the Judge verified it through Court staff. It was an embarrassing situation but the Judge let it off after reprimanding the lawyer. Judges (being lawyers themselves once) also know that these things happen, so it's always better, in general, to not to attempt beguiling the judge.

You are doing a superb job here. Our law colleges should be employing people like you instead of marking the assignments which merely repeat what judges skip and ask us in court. Sadly, due to the huge gap between what is practically required of us and available to general public you are also being sought out professionally from outside. I notice in comments how you have drawn the wrong kind of attention already. Don't worry. You are doing better than we could in Gujarat. Here the High Court justices are some of the best I have appeared before. They are quick and correct. Good luck, buddy.

Sir i have one question, i hope you'll answer it😔....
I was in the bus and i told bus conductor to give me a ticket of (particular busstand) he gave it to me but he didn't consider that the bus wasn't going there 😡 and he gave me a ticket of busstand which was 1 km away from the busstand where i actually wanted to go... After reaching that busstand (which was 1 km away from the busstand where i wanted to go) the ticket checker arrived there to check tickets of bus passengers, just like other passengers i gave him my ticket and started walking away but he stopped me and told me you have to pay a fine that you're in the wrong stand, i told him that the conductor didn't give me any instructions he just gave me a ticket even though i told him the busstand's name while taking ticket too, but the ticket checker didn't listened to me and told me that give me 100 rupees or I'll fine you and if you don't have a money to pay a fine then let's go to the police station...and thanks to the public around me no one came to help me they were just standing and enjoying that situation 😔 and i gave him 70 rupees ( all the money i had in my pocket) then i walked to my house with the sun on my head my house is 3kms away from the busstand because i wasn't even having any money to spend on rikshaw to reach my house. I had a ticket and still i paid fine just because i was 1km away from the busstand where i wanted to go..all the thanks goes to bus conductor 😔 i was planning to be the engineer officer in indian government but now i realized that indian government sucks they all are hungry for money they don't even understand the issues of middle-class people 😔 and I've changed my mind and now I'll study abroad and work for some other countries like Canada, Australia or UK...ok leave it but plz tell me sir what could i have done better in that situation?? plz I'm so curious to know about this...😣

Stand up to him , you ll be able to stand upto ure clients. It's all about ethics and being a man/woman. Have one roti less in your meal ,but follow the correct practise of standing in front on judge onlynif you have vakatlama.. the judge would normally give u time to file one.. tell ure senior that by next hearing please file my vakatlama also with permission of court if u have stood for a client.

Sir , i had a humble query . As a law student it is a strong grey area that if we dont participate in reasonble or even any anount of moot court competetions, can we still cultivate the kind of competance that other lawyers have who have such moot experineces , sincerely a very relevant query.
