On our recent trip to National Harbor, Maryland, we toured the MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino. In this video, we take you along to show you our favorite things about this property. We'll discuss dining and shopping options. We'll show you some of the decor and artwork that really makes this place stand out from other resorts in the area. We'll discuss the room rates in case you are interested in staying here on your visit to National Harbor. And, of course, we will walk through the casino to see what that is like.

I was here at the grand opening of this casino. Great to see a new tour of it. I see they changed a few of the eateries there since. The water fountains weren't operating when i was there. Awesome tour!

Love the origami white rose sculptures out front. This is a gorgeous hotel. The lobby is very pretty. The conservatory was just amazing. The hotel and casino has so much to offer with their shops, pools, restaurants and bars; even though some of it is still closed.
Yeah the artwork here and the conservatory were both so amazing! We loved it. The fountain area on the terrace was really pretty too. They really do have a lot to offer. I can see how a person could spend a few days staying at this hotel and just never leave the premises throughout their whole stay. Which is no doubt the plan of those who designed the resort. Hi friends. Wow. What a neat place. It looks so huge. Glad you were able to stop by even though you didn't stay there. The Benjamin Franklin currency sculpture was gorgeous. All that food looks fantastic. It's awesome that there's a 3,000 seat arena. "TH-cam overlords." LOL The rooftop overlook is pretty cool as well. Thanks for sharing this with us.
We ha a lot of fun exploring the MGM National Harbor. Lots of cool stuff to see. Next time we visit that area, we will bring an appetite so we can try some of the great restaurants there. We had just had a late breakfast before visiting MGM so we kept seeing and smelling good food but didn't have any room for it. Thanks so much for watching our tour!

We are dying for some Shake Shack too! Wish we lived near one! The decor and artwork in this hotel is all so beautiful. But yeah, we would rather travel to Vegas and pay for some good meals and shows than travel to Vegas and donate all our money to a casino. But different people like different things, I suppose. Love MGM in Vegas. Didn’t realize there was one outside of Vegas. Those charging chairs was pretty cool. My kids would love the pool for sure. Love how they decorated the place.

Love this tour!! Super informative. I have been by this place a couple of times, but never stopped at it. Those infinity tunnels were probably my fav!!
Those infinity tunnels were super cool. And it was creepy walking over them even though you know it only goes down a few feet and is not really a never ending hole. We had a good time exploring this place. Thanks so much for watching our tour - and for the compliment!

There were a lot of good food options here. Unfortunately, we were not aware of how many options they had and ate a late breakfast immediately before driving to this resort. So we tried nothing. At least we know where to eat next time. I could go for some Shake Shack right about now. Thanks for watching!

I guess I didn’t realize there were other MGM resorts outside of Vegas. The conservatory is beautiful! We have watched the voltaggio brothers on Top Chef! That’s so cool! Thanks so much for showing us around, that was super cool!
That Voltaggio Brothers steakhouse is the restaurant we really would have loved to try the most of them all. We had just eaten a late breakfast before went to tour this hotel so we were not hungry. But next time we are in the area, we want to check that place out. This was a very cool resort. Thanks so much for watching our tour!

I live ten miles south of here and have paid a few visits here, but because I live in the area, I have never rented a room here. I have come here to play the slots - and have had a birthday dinner here (Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse is here). District Deli is where I usually have my pasta fix.
I have eaten an Diablos and watched UFC there before. The seafood place is what I would like to try. And can’t go wrong with Steak!!!!
Yeah, we want to try all those places! We had just eaten a late breakfast right before we went here and we were wishing we had not because there is so much food here we want to try. I guess that gives us a good excuse to visit again someday!

This is an impressive resort. We stayed at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and thought it was beautiful. We don't gamble either, but I'm curious - was this a smoke-free casino?
We were certainly impressed by many of the hotels we toured a couple of years ago in Vegas. This one was just as impressive though it does seem to be smaller than many of the popular Vegas hotels on the strip. You have a great question... we might should have mentioned that issue in the video. Unlike Vegas, Maryland law prohibits smoking inside public buildings so this particular MGM hotel and casino is smoke free. Thanks for watching our video!

The Lion does look the same. This felt like a smaller version of some of MGM's Vegas properties. We felt like we were back in Las Vegas for a bit as we explored the hotel and casino. Of course, it made us want to go back to Vegas as soon as possible! Thanks for watching!
I remember coming here a few years ago. I was on a business trip and came here for their buffet at night but lost about $40 in the machines. LOL. LIKE 9. 👍👍👍👍

The conservatory is so beautiful! Had no idea MGM had a resort in Maryland. Would love to try the Voltaggio Brothers place! -S
It really is a gorgeous hotel with the conservatory and all the artwork and decor. Yep, this place opened at the end of 2016 so it has been open less than 5 years. It is smaller than their Vegas resorts but feels like a mini Vegas while you are there. The Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse would be our top pick too. We were wishing we hadn't eaten a late breakfast before coming to this place cause we wanted to try the food here. Next time. Thanks for watching - and taking the time to leave a comment!

WOW! That place is really nice! The prices for staying must be really high!
Yeah, rooms seem to average in the mid $400s but can be higher or lower depending on time of year and day of the week. And are higher if you want a suite. But it was a really nice resort. Such beautiful art throughout. Thanks so much for watching our tour!
The opulence of these Casino is unimaginable. I have been the MGM in Las Vegas. Yep! I am not a gambler myself. So you wouldn't see me in the Casino, maybe shopping, then again they are very high end shops.🤣A great review of the MGM Resort.

This is a large resort! I love the chandelier and the spring displays! We are not big on gambling either, it always freaks me out to lose money!
Losing money is not a good hobby. This is a beautiful resort though. We loved the spring displays in the conservatory! And there were so many good restaurants. It was a fun place to spend some time exploring. Thanks for watching out tour!

I can see the attraction to gambling. But losing money seems like it would be no fun. That is why we only gambled a few dollars in Vegas. We were comfortable losing $4. Much more than that would be painful. But we wish you well next time you are in Vegas. Somebody has to win eventually. It might as well be you!

Did not know mgm had so many a resorts
We were aware of the MGM resorts in Vegas but didn't know about all the others outside of Vegas ourselves until very recently. They do have some beautiful resorts. Thanks so much for watching our tour!
