The Prisons of Pakistani Society | Cricle of Control Exposed | Syed Muzammil Official

  • In the video we have discussed the context of Pakistani education through Foucauldian lens, which shed light on the power dynamics and disciplinary mechanisms at play. Foucault's analysis emphasizes how power is exercised in modern institutions like prisons and schools to maximize control and utility.
This analysis also shows the ways in which educational institutions, including prison schools, function as sites where power and knowledge intersect to regulate behavior, communication, and learning processes.

Be cautious of trusting any Pakistani; their patterns remain consistent. Most of them are just talk without any meaningful action. Figures like Hasan Nisar, Pervez Hoodbhoy, and Najam Sethi have followed the same script: pandering to "unpopular" sentiments to sound different , more intelligent than the masses, with a Messiah complex - without an overt anti-India rhetoric, only to abandon their facade when convenient. Moreover, they conveniently sidestep addressing the fundamental issues because of Islam.

I am from West Bengal, India and here left parties had 35 years rule. Intially they strarted with snatching lands from Bourgeois and distribution to landless but later on the kept the land docs in their party office. From dictatorship of Pro literiate class they themselves became dictators. They kicked away industrialists, they rejected computers , stopped English education which gradually led to total mess. Bengali medium students couldn't compete in nation level exams, there were no jobs as most of the industries were closed as they hated industrialists. Bangla bandh was a bi weekly or monthly phenomenon. Gherao, lock out , bandh became a tradition of the students. Universities started dis regarding the propfessors and later on they kept on humiliating the VCs. With the help of Muslim and vote bank politics they ruled for 35 years and destroyed the states back bone.
In short what is perceived to be ideal is not always ideal.

Born in 1995 and admitted in PAF school at the age of 5. Discremenation in these schools over ranks & designation is still on the peak. Pressure of reputation and completion of course is on teachers is very strange rather than grooming. Computer as a subject came for me when I was in grade 7 but there was no proper teacher in 7 & 8...we enjoyed the computer periods at that time and marked as grade A. Then in Matric & FSC opted science and pre engineering as there is is still no variety of subjects in Army & PAF schools...only science, pre eng & pre medical but for our juniors now they have computer science as well. In Addition I was good in Arts subjects not in Sciences but there comes Family & Society pressure...I opted Maths as a BS in Universty. Now I'm totally devastated with the Education Industry. My whole life is destroyed & still I'm taking the blame that I was not a hardworking students thats why I have such bad grades....!

I am from India. I am so sorry for what you are facing right now. Career is tough and even tougher when you're in a country like Pakistan. Don't worry things will be alright. First of all see the opportunity in the world around you. There is at least something you need to do. Focus on at least getting food on the table. It is a very necessary thing. Times will be tough, You have to wait for them to get better. This is the way nature works.
Krishna says in Srimad Bhagavad Gita:
the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed.
      Conclusion
The times will change. Nature only sees your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything.
Fill yourself with wisdom as a hobby. God will himself come to you to guide you. Wait for him, till then do what is necessary.

Born in 69 in Kolkata India. What you say about schooling and position of women in society was very similar to what I experienced. But we did not want that for our children, friends, sisters and even our mom’s. How things changed I do not know but they did - I guess each one wanting something better for themselves, their families and the people around them starts a silent revolution. We still have some way to go but when I look back, partly thanks to your video, I think we have come a long long way. I hope you folks discover your path.
