I am from Delhi, and I have a huge amount of respect for Muzammil. Many Indians like him because he is critical of his country Pakistan, but I like him because he teaches his listeners to be self-critical and critical of his own society. Whereas I am not sure whether Pakistan is in a state to become a normal country with constructive critiques like Muzammil, India for sure can learn from him and avoid treading the path of becoming another Pakistan. Hyper-nationalism, hyper-religiosity and hyper-communism are all horrible. Rational thinking with scientific temper is the need of the society.

Syed Muzammil Shah is the real, and probably the only, intellectual in Pakistan. He is an intellectual because he READS and THINKS. I'm happy to see so many young Pakistanis wanting to hear him.

I am proud Indian but I Can not ignore intelligent people like sye Muzzamil Shah. I adore him , respect him. You cannot mock Pakistani people just because their political class is corrupt. They are part of us Indians , they are our brothers and sisters. I wish them good luck and I hope one day they will also be Happy and free from this corrupt regime. Love from India ❤️. We don’t hate you, we only hate terrorism.

Indian American here, whatever Muzammil says is of cross border concern. Even in the US we need to remember these first principles. Rational thinking is under attack everywhere. Very few are able to think straight anymore and such a community needs to be nurtured wherever they are.
I live in the Bay Area, and you will be shocked to know there is almost no internet connectivity in the areas where the tech community lives. Why? because they realise the untold harm that the moving images have caused to human brain; they dont want their kids exposed to it. That is why schools in the Bay area esp Los Altos, Palo Alto, the home where tech billionaires live, do not allow the use of phones and computers. What do they know that they are not telling the res of us? What do they know that they dont let their own children use tech?

Syed our emotional part of the brain has been with us for millions of years. It is called limbic system. It helped us survive fight or freight situations in forests. The thinking part is neo cortex and it has been recent addition so it can easily be over run by limbic system in most people except those who develop critical thinking. Religion and patriotism are big stimulants of limbic system. Great talk.❤

@48:11 : It was correct that it was Beethoven. He lost his hearing later on in life, when he was composing one of his greatest works, the Ninth Symphony. He used to immerse his head in water regularly to help with migraines or headaches, and that accelerated his hearing loss. It is said that when the Ninth Symphony debuted, he was also conducting the orchestra himself, but he had assistance from others. The musicians all still played it to perfection.

I have read comments of many Indians here appreciating you but only appreciating you is not enough , hearjng you is good but actual implementation of it in one's life and society would be actual success of hearing you . We should focus on our society it should not become a popularist leader's country , as I feel today it js , while people becoming extra religious , and some section of society not criticising the government wherever it is going wrong but rather than defending them . Developing Rational thinking in the people is the only solution here . And I agree with you about the fact that understanding the difference between real and fake information is challenging and the most important in such a high flow of information nowadays .
    From Delhi , India 🇮🇳

Very rational in his talk and forced me to think and challenge my ideas especially politics, but I diifer slightly in the Imran khan case with the current situation, whatever rational you are does not matter when you have to choose for a certain option, like Nawaz, Zardari, and Ik, peaple have reacted against Nawaz and Zardari more rather in favor of Imran Khan.

I am impressed Muzzamel sir. You are highly intelligent Pakistan is very lucky to have you. You are absolutely right in my view as well this Nation of Pakistan is so contaminated it’s almost impossible to fix it. I have fear it might be wiped out. Most of the common sense people has left the country. My fear is sooner or later you will leave the same country where you highly educated your self and if no institution reward ed you of course you will gave up. This is how many Brain left this same land where no one appreciated them. If you ever decided please chose North America civilized Nations where you will be valued. God bless I enjoyed listening you.
