Bonjour et Merci! We finally arrived in Nice last Friday and are staying next to the Église Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur de Nice. Today we watched a singer and guitar player perform next to the #ILOVENICE sign. Tomorrow we hope to visit one or two museums (Chagall & Matisse?). Tuesday the Photography museum. Thank you for your wonderful videos. Nice is amazing, which is why we want to move here. Next month we'll return to the States to begin the visa application process. Merci. Dean et Cindy
I have only visited 4 of the museums you featured. Thank you for the heads-up on the other six! Great leads. We stay every year in Beaulieu sur Mer so it is very easy to use the nearby bus to reach your recommended museums. Henri Matisse is my favorite artist so I always make it a must to visit both the museum you featured here and his Rosary Chapel in Vence. For those who love Renoir it is worth a visit to one of his residences in Cannes sur Mer called Musée Renoir. I believe you have told us about these in one of your visits to museums outside of Nice proper. I think your TH-cam videos are SO helpful, well produced and very entertaining to watch. Merci!
Thank you so much!!! Yes, Renoir is worth a visit, Picasso in Antibes and Vallauris, Léger in Biot, Bonnard in Le Cannet, Eileen Grey’s place in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Cocteau in Menton… to name just a few more that are excellent 😃
Crazy, right? It has to do with the huge construction going on to prolong the Promenade du Paillon, the beautiful park running inland from the sea, if we‘re not mistaken
Excellent choice of subject for a video. Thank you for all the hard work. Architecture and history fan here. Kenzo Tange was in his 80s and near the end of his career when Nice's Asian Art museum was designed. Ten years earlier, he designed the tall, massive, and intricately detailed city administration building for Metropolitan Tokyo (now a city of 32 million). That was considered by many to have been his last major commission. Not far from Nice, by the sea between Bordighera and Ospedaletti, a building that contains the museum and garage of a private estate (now for sale) featuring a spiral staircase with glass all around. Coincidentally, it was designed by Kenzo Tange. Bonne journee.
For me the most spiritually moving experience was at the Chagall museum in the chapel. Visually Glorious. And the cafe in the garden was yummy. We walked from downtown Nice, but the Matisse museum was more of a hike, Still we got to see really toney neighborhoods. Lovely, thanks for compiling this.
Thank you for this video. I am Asian and I love Nice with all my heart. But I have never visited the Museum of Asian arts. You gave me the idea for my next trip.
Which museum in Nice are you most excited to visit? Or did we miss your favorite spot? 🎨🏛
All of them ! All of them !!!

Thanks for sharing! 🙏😊 None of the museums is a waste of time honestly, shame that some are very French, with no English explanations
Thanks for the videos about beautiful Nice 😊
