    Hey Zac, you should make a video on both sides of the pelvic floor spectrum, concentric orientation and eccentric.

    I know this post is old. But I recently had a pelvic tilt. I’ve seen a ton of videos but I haven’t heard any body talk about being able to change the tilt to either side. Which is my case. My leg hurts more on the left so my body tilts to the right. But when I try and straighten out my body sometimes tilts to the left. Great video !

      Likely have to work on loading into that side if taht's the case, but hard to say. Glad you liked this vid :)

    @zac cupples Hey, I just did the the left lateral tilt Exercises and it flipped me now I have a right lateral tilt I did exercises to fix it now I’m back to left lateral pelvic tilt what do I do to fix my left lateral pelvic if it keeps flipping? Thank you

    • @ZacCupplesPT
      @ZacCupplesPT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are likely just orienting instead of getting relative motion, I would check out some of the stacking drills first

  • @xTeleXx9
    @xTeleXx9 ปีที่แล้ว

    All your videos usually hit the mark, but my left hip is hiked but my left straight leg test is 20 degress more limited which contradicts what youre saying, and i watched your learning how to stack video and saw reductions in my rib flare but my hip position is the same :/. I understand i have to teach ir but i can pistol squat on both legs which proves i have ir , right ?

    Hey Zac, Love your content by the way! Is it possible the root cause of my anterior pelvic tilt, is my lateral pelvic tilt? (yes I suffer from both...)

  • @beautifulmotherlove
    @beautifulmotherlove ปีที่แล้ว

    splendid video! thank u so much. i have a question:
    in the case of right obelique tilt orientation situation: what did happen first: the anterior pelvic tilt? the raise of the left innominate? the turn of the scacrum to the right? what was the sequence that cause this?
    and please sir: can u advise what sequence to unkink this pattern: which drills u do first for reversing each stage ? (so that the last layer of compensation is removed first)
    thanks again zac . your work is so very helpful to clarify confusions.

    • @ZacCupplesPT
      @ZacCupplesPT  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s likely everything happened all at once. From a treatment standpoint, it’s useful to think of the turn being second

    • @beautifulmotherlove
      @beautifulmotherlove ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZacCupplesPT so would you advise to first work on reversing back the anterior pelvic tilt , raise the right iliium and onlythen rotate sacrium to the left?

    Hey Zac, if someone has an L SLR < R SLR could they still have a left pelvic tilt but in a pathological way? Such as overlengthened R hamstring?

    • @ZacCupplesPT
      @ZacCupplesPT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Given how fast the ranges can adapt, and given how long tissue changes take, this seems unlikely barring some type of trauma

    @ zac cupples hey if I have a left lateral pelvic tilt for the posterior hip stretch which leg do I put on the book left or right?

    • @ZacCupplesPT
      @ZacCupplesPT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on if lateral tilt is from relative motion deficit or pelvis orientation as a unit. I'll have to do a more in-depth video on this.

    Hey Zac, would the sacrum rotate to the right with the left foot forward split squat? You recommend it in this video for somebody that has a higher right pelvis, should I apply a hip shift into that lx to bias more IR on the lx side?

    Hi thanks for the content.Is there any difference between lpt and scoliosis and can lpt be fixed if someone has scoliosis as well?

    • @ZacCupplesPT
      @ZacCupplesPT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      scoliosis is a structural spinal curve oftentimes. If the tilt is part of the structure, then cannot be "fixed" unless you are looking at early intervention or surgery. But you can increase the available motion, which can have benefits

    Hey Zack just as a confirmation the side where my pelvis is higher should have more internal rotation. Therefore I should improve IR in the opposite side to even the pelvis out?

    • @ZacCupplesPT
      @ZacCupplesPT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It may. It depends on how much the pelvis has translated forward. IF this happens, it won't be there.
