WOW!!! I have watched countless videos and explanations on how to fix lateral pelvic tilt over the course of 6 months. I have learned some useful stuff, but YOU just put it all together in one VERY easy to understand and implement program. Anatomy, Diagnosis, Release and Strengthen. Thank you SO very much. Should I find myself in San Diego I will for sure book a session with you. Meanwhile I am going to make this routine a part of my journey. Thank you SO much. Saludos de México ❤
You're amazing for this video! It seems to address my issue perfectly and more specific then any doctor, physical therapist or chiropractor I've seen so far.
Hi, I’ve been confused lately. I have a lateral pelvic tilt with my left hip being higher. On the Internet, people say that the hip that is higher is the weaker hip and that I need to work on the weaker hip, while stretching the opposing hip. However, my left hip and glute has always felt like the stronger hip and the right hip actually feels weaker. Would I focus on working on the muscles on the left hip or right hip?
i’m going to try this. i’m not quite sure what i’m suppose to do though since i’ve been to my doctor and physical therapy and nothing seems to help. I’ve been searching the internet for anything that might help. I’ve been having some sciatic pain on right side and extreme right lateral hip pain that feels like impingement when doing squat and it also cramps up when doing abduction exercises. left adductor is also very tender and sore after squats or deadlifts(compared to right). left hip flexor is also very stiff compared to right. I initially thought this problem was due to a limb length difference from my fibula/tibia fracture surgery(left side) but i had a CT scan done and it showed that my right side was shorter only by 5mm. Do you have any recommendations on a fix for this problem?
Thank you for sharing these techniques. Are these supposed to be made forever or is there any average time where one can lower the frequency or stop doing them?
Try it for a few sessions or until you get results. then you should be ok to drop the freq or not do it all together if youre making the needed changes to keep it straight
Gonna try this. It makes so much sense to stretch opposing muscle groups and strengthen others. I've been following some PRI exercises and they seem so ineffective and weird. I ended up in this position because I had a very tight serratus anterior that prevented me from engaging my left lat. I'd do weighted pull ups and my right side lat got very muscular and made me very imbalanced. Gonna try this out. Thanks for the video
Thank you Sir I will do my best I noticed I walked uneven just because I am dealing with arthritis so I was blaming myself having arthritis being said that arthritis it triggered every joint I have in the last month having pain on my left hips again blaming my arthritis i hope your video will help me to help my issue, thank you!
Woowww! Thank youuu! How do I find someone to look into exactly which muscles are tight and weak for me. I’ve been struggling for so long and I’m so tired. Please help me.
Leo you have any exercise for right hip wot no cartilage? I am schedule for total hi replacement and I do not want surgery but the pain to walk is very strong and also when u sleep
I can't tell how the tests correlate to which side you're supposed to loosen vs strengthen. There are two tests described and then a whole litany of conclusions drawn but no link to the what the high hip means relative to the stretches and strengthening. Same with the thomas test. Also the example had like four tight muscles but our own assessment doesn't go into that level. I find this video confusing unlike the others.
Wow! I have been in pain for 8 months now. I have been going to a Chiropractor. I have had multiple sessions that have ended with a PT. They agree that my left leg is shorter. The PT gave me a heel lift to put in my shoe since he said my hips were out of line. I kept asking what my diagnosis is with no answer and an eyebrow raise. The PT gave me some core stretches and put me on a stationary bike. I’m excited about trying this. I have pain in my right glute and hip too. Thanks!!
@@TrainandMassage I can’t believe they weren’t smart enough to give me any diagnosis or proper treatment. At least they did agree my leg was shorter than the other.
@@ceclay1@TrainandMassage im in the same boat chiropractor says I have a shorter left leg but lateral pelvic tilt. So is it really shorter or is it my hip because it’s higher on that side 🤔
What about with step ups & walking lunges i get ql pain only on right side, i have a hip drop on right side too & lateral pelvic tilt causing a weak under active right glute & tight hamstring
I am a little uncertain which side I am starting on as my right hip is higher than the left hip. So do I start with the ball on the lower back against the wall on that right side and go from there? Thanks for any info.
@@TrainandMassage i am sorry Mister. I mean should i train all exercises on both legs or only my bad side. And do you know which Kind of Problem i could have ? First of If i Put my legs parallel there i no big difference that one is shorter or longer, but what i feel is that when i am standig straight and leaning to the right Side with my Body my Leg pushes to the ground and IT feels Like its too Long/unbalanced i start feeling my bone pushing in to the ground. The left side feels just normal when i lean to the left. I have all problems on the right side around my hip. No pain but Like everything is tight and just like it not even balanced.

The other videos don’t mention anything about tight muscles or weak muscles. They do really ineffective exercises and they think this problem is caused by the brain or something like that. They never even mention the quadratus lomborum or psoas.

The push/pull of the stick between the legs, along with pushing the groin agaisnt a ball a game changers.
Yes it is, but it doesnt last long sadly unless you train after.

You need to work both, release one side and strengthen the other.

I would say try this out first, it might be what youre looking for
Important Note: You're gonna need a 4 inch ball to reach that psoas muscle.
Thanks
17.22 you are strengthening tight adductor instead of stretching towards high hip
so far best video i saw yet, lot of info and lot of workouts to try, thank You

You can skip the stretching but chances are it is weak so dont skip the strengthening piece.

That’s dependent on your skills and ability. Always start lighter then you think and move up when ready
