"Off chance you ever make the time to play" hurt me...
😆
Same...
The previous game from the Shadow Gambit studio, Desperados III, still holds up and is also on sale at -75% off
Shadow Gambit has been extorted by Sweet Baby Inc to include DEI for those that care
The studio is SBI infested, unfortunately
But the shadow tactics and desperados 3 are fine
@@ArariaKAgelessTraveller So the main character is a black woman- why is that necessarily a deal breaker? Unless black women can't be main characters... because...? So a white man can be a main character and that's not "shoving conservative politics down your throat", but minorities are evil "agendas" Sounds like utterly arbitrary racism to me!
@@preslim84 Sure extorted. So where did this come from, a source, or between your ears?
@@mattmorehouse9685 source is Black Myth Wukong devs. cry more
Just purchased workers and resources on your recommendation.
Have fun!
You are a curse to my purse. Just bought two of these because of how well you presented them. Honestly they should pay you a percentage. And I already have some of these games or I might have bought more.
Ixion is an amazing game, had it since launch and the depth and story is astounding. The music score is about the best i have heard on a game in a long time too
The other game made by the same devs, WH40K: Mechanicus, has a great soundtrack too.
Songs of Conquest is so addictive. I forgot that it was just early access when it first came out thanks for pointing out it's now in 1.0 release
+1 for Ixion. Caught this one completely by random. But was probably my game of 2023 (yes, i know it released in 2022). Soundtrack was also kick ass. Done by the same guy that did the soundtrack for Mechanicus.
Nice!
The wandering village is excellent and has continued to receive regular updates throughout early access. Highly recommend
An IXION playthrough is a mix of high risk and high reward or punishment. You don't get to rest and take a breather, super fun took me atleast 6 tries to beat
You are still my voice of the Baryans
Watching your playthrough inspired me to pick up Workers and Resources.
I'm wondering if you've checked out Shadows of Forbidden Gods? It's obviously a passion project that lacks the QoL of more polished games, but it's an excellent chance to play The Big Bad waking from darkness (a la Sauron or Cthulu)
Ostriv is only BARELY on sale, but when it comes to historically based city builders, it's been one of my favorites for a long time. Its setting is the 1700's in Ukraine rather than based in medieval era, but it has some unique mechanics for balancing labor and how your villagers are fed. It's another early access game that's a passion project for a single developer who goes out of his way to try and bring in accuracy in the building types and to the production tree even if it could be called a little more simple and chill than most. There's no combat at all in Ostriv, and no real permanent bankruptcy either, though you can still goof and lose all your villagers due to not providing what they need.
pretty good recommendations I might grab
btw anytime I look at Shadow Gambit are any other game made by that company I feel a little sad sometimes they decided to shut down their Studios ( even though I understand the reasons why but I wish they did not shut down and try new ideas and whatnots I feel like the stealth genre is kind of a dying only one to hold is ioi and I want some competition)
Against the Storm is fantastic
Age of Wonders 4 hands down best of the best
I'm about sold on Chaos Gate - thanks! I'm quite interested in a new title for later in 2024: 'Worshippers of Cthulhu' from Crazy Goat Games - I'm hoping you'll take a look.
Just avoid Denuvo!
Chaos Gate Daemonhunters was a lot of fun for me. The tactical turn-based combat hit a sweet spot regarding the mix of character options and combat situations through the campaign - which also had management options. I'd recommend it to someone who enjoyed the more recent Xcom games but want more options/decisions to it all. Also no missed shots, therefore no bad roll streaks, and manages to keep it engaging.
I am so torn between Jagged Alliance 3 and Workers & Resources.
Which ones from the list have controller support to play on Rog Ally please
Watching this vid what to buy only to discover that i own like 70% of them and not even played half of the ones I have 😅
Hi mate. Is Soviet Republic controller friendly? I want to play it on my ROG Ally if possible
Since you are connected with Hooded Horse, please tell them their prices are too steep in South America. 😢
These ones im not that interested in so far.
Some of my most anticipated games :
Falling Frontier
Capital Command (Thanks to you waaay back then)
Starminer
Sins of a Solar Empire 2
I also bought Shadow Empire a week or so ago, and ive been addicted. Just like the old wargames. Hard, but rewarding if you can do well.
Oh man Shadow Empire looks awesome!
@@PartyElite Its pretty hard, but im loving it. Have had some short nights because of "One more turn" syndrome.
I picked up Songs of Conquest after hearing all the hype but for me, the pixel art, while gorgeous to look at, made it way to hard for me to play. EVERYTHING was too detailed to the point I couldn't really tell what anything was. Detailed to the point of muddy. Which is a shame because I love the style of game it is.
Anyone else suffering from gamer fatigue ?
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic for me.
Hi
No gameplay footage of Jagged Alliance? Is it like xcom?
yes and the management is more complex = more rewarding
ghost of tsushima is not on sale😭
I'm just here to shill for AoW4. Fantastic game.
Just purchased GTA V 😭❤
Just to let you know, if you wanna try online, be careful of modders
@@Toasty_10 sorry sir i don't get it ? But thanks for warning
I was v disappointed with manor lords, I can’t put my finger on what it is, but it’s missing something special, not addictive to play.
Can you please do more gameplay videos for the New Planet Zoo????🍀🍀🍀🙂
Dude, i should ban your channel. Every Steam Sale your channel pops up and it leads to me being forced to spend money! 😉
(Thanks, i love your channel!)
Jagged alliance is a crap game, great at first, but the plot falls to pieces, and becomes completely unbelievable about half way through, when the countries army which has been nonexistent since the start of the game, suddenly crawls out from under a rock, and becomes a new enemy.
who plays strategy/tactics games for the plots tbh.
Enough with 'absolute' every 2nd sentence...you're not British! 😂 Workers and Resources should be every strategy gamers first purchase.
