WARNO was originally on this list but didn't join the Steam Summer Sale Initially. However it has now joined the sale for 25% Off! Well worth a pick up!
@@harrisglidewell4112 Broken arrow will be more on arcade side of things Warno si pure simulation + i know they done the research so the numbers are as real as posible
I can see why people love this game . But for me it’s so hard to get into because you have to control sooooo much . I like the OPTION to micro manage , but I don’t want to HAVE to micro manage .
Steel Division 2 is on sale for 75% off. Thats a great game to pick up with a discount like that. Steel Division Normandy 44 is also on sale for 66% off. Panzer Corps 2 for 60% off is also a decent price for a good game. It lacks a bit of the depth of other wargames but its still fun to play. Knights of Honor II is also available for 60% off. Just like Panzer Corps 2, it does not offer the depth of other, similar titels but its very polished and is alot of fun to play. Endless Space 2 for 75% might also be worth your time and money and so is Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront for 75% off.
Love to see Command: MO getting some love! Pricey, but when you pick up the DLC for just a few bucks a piece, you get (as you said) years of content! Always love seeing Regiments, too! (and now I need to look into The Troop!)
On the grand strategy scale, all PDX games are also on sale, so Europa Universalis 4, Victoria 3, Hearts of Iron 4, Crusaders Kings 3, Stellaris are all good picks depending on the period you prefer. And for some WW1 strategy, The Great War: Western Front is available for 12,24€ right now. Also, if you like mech combat, Battletech is 75% off - 9,99€ Not on sale, but just to keep an eye on - Ultimate General: American Revolution was released into Early access few weeks ago.
I have been playing Cold Waters since.. well since Jingles talked about it ( another channel I watch ), for single player modern naval 'simulator' you don't have much other choice. Regiments is giving me WiC vibe, and I liked WiC. Need to do some more research on that one, but it does look 'nice' ;)
I already own a few of these…..so many games, such little time! I keep telling myself I’ll play them all when I retire 😆 Just picked up Panzer Battles: Battles of Normandy in the WDS sale 👍
I really wish that Total Conflict: Resistance becomes bigger game, because it has potential and that could grow when they're releasing modding tools for the community.
It's so great to listen to your nice, and comprehensive summaries! I would add, as a predominantly single player, that from what I've heard, AI in Warplan, and also Command: Modern O., is actually quite poor. I mean, great games, but mostly if you want multi. I personally dream of finally playing Rise of the White Sun... Just I might get dragged away to Field of Glory 2: Medieval, before I actually reach China! 😉 Cheers, and keep up the great job! 😊
This video and your other content is great . However if I can make a recommendation, please add a “difficulty/accessibility” section to each game . Not long just sort of a comparison (example: warplan is a more simplified HOI ) . I love strategy games (especially set in WW2 ) but there are so many games they don’t always make clear how difficult they are to grasp and get the most out of .
Great list bud question for you ive been eyeing the sgs series cause they have alot of awesome scenarios, are they hard to play i guess the question is on a scale of panzer corps to gary grigsbys war in the east how hard is it to pick up and play the series
For very realistic combat aircraft simulation, DCS World modules are mostly all on sale. The base game is free. I have played DCS World for years, and although the modules can be expensive, if you like flight simulation, you can spend hours or weeks on just one aircraft module, learning its flight and weapons systems, and tactics. My favourites are the A-10C, F-16, and the F/A-18 Hornet.
This is great thank you and I have picked up The Troop so far and loving it. I have also found your channel and the SGS games thanks to this video, if I was looking at getting a first Strategic and also Tactical level SGS game do you have any recommendations based on ease of learning or should I just pick the conflict that interests me the most ? Many thanks.
@@LTGamingTH-cam Thank you, I have picked some up in a bundle and Montezuma along with Hex of Steel. They look like they will be good but none of them work with UW monitor so I am going to need to refund and look for some other series sadly.
If you haven't got any then try a Total War game because they're going very cheap. I bought TW Empire for £4.99. I know it's probably the most divisive game in the series but if you enjoyed TW Napoleon and want something a bit more epic then Empire is epic with a capital E,P,I and C , but to be honest any Total War game is worth your time and money for the massive money off offer

Curious why you didn't include Panzer Corps 2--they're still producing regular content and DLC. Turn-based, but a great successor to the original Panzer General!

@LTGamingTH-cam all good, it's only minor but would be a QoL improvement, you guys put out good videos and that's the key thing, keep up the good work and have a good day.
I wouldn’t buy a game from steam if it was 10 for a dollar. Example fs22 base game from steam would barely run on my computer vs buying it from giants and now I can run with mods and 16x maps. Steam sucks,
@@LTGamingTH-cam actually no, I simply installed it. It’s the bloated spyware steam adds in so they can track your every move. Once I dumped steam and bought the game from giants it worked fine.
Regiments is not a fun game. The fact that game made the list makes me doubt every other suggestion in this video. Regiments substitutes depth with randomized enemy spawn points. That's not fun. It's dumb. "It's a great time" the video says. That must mean your standards are very, very low. And the rest of the games in this video must be to that same standard, so I have to assume the rest of the games suggested are all terrible too.
