As an ex addict and someone who got their life together. This song hits deep. It's been 7 years since I quit and almost 4 since I quit drinking. This is a great reminder to continue to walk the straight and narrow. Life gets so hard for an addict, the only choices left are to succumb to your addiction or get up, give it everything you've got and walk the straight and narrow or die trying. If anyone out there is struggling, I want you to know it's possible to beat addiction without rehab or a support system. I know most of us can't afford rehab and have little to no support. Eventually you get to the point where you choose to die or get up and climb a mountain. If you're reading this, I hope you climb the mountain and I hope you love yourself along the way.
