It’s not just the booze, it’s the choices we make. If you’re not good at drinking, and you’re not good at making the right choices , it’s time to hand both of those 2 things over to a higher power. 11 years ago I wasn’t good at drinking, and I certainly wasn’t good at making the right choices. It’s never too late. I don’t even think about drinking anymore not because I am special, I got tired of all my bad choices taking away everything I had, and everything that I wanted. Lastly: when you feel like life is finally off your back you will be tempted again. Just remind yourself of how you feel today and I promise you will make the right choices :) A Friend
hey, im happy that youre thankful to not of gotten anyone hurt but im also so happy that you arent hurt either. im glad youre here and im so happy youre safe. im not saying youre an alcoholic or anything but IF you believe you could be-heres a little something to keep in mind (from someone who cares, genuinely): addiction is a disease which is always in need of recognition or treatment so its all the more important for you to never ever give up on yourself. that bottle doesnt love you back. that glass doesnt either. those fricken cans couldnt give a shit either. from a former alcoholic, you can do this. you can beat it. and hell it can be so hard. but life is also hard. addiction only makes it worse, i mean shit, youve seen it. (this is serious but not meant to criticize or judge- just to help it sink in--) 3 Dui's is lucky, whats next? a body? a gravestone? life in prison, a life of tourment and regret? no. you are bettrr than that. you DESERVE better than that. there are so many people battling addiction but no one has walked in your shoes. and that right there is why is it very important to hold yourself accountable but never beat yourself up. when life kicks your ass, learn from it and grow (for example, death of someone close-cherish the memories-dont drink them away- and be grateful to be alive another day. this might be extreme but perspective has helped me so much personally) please do not ever forget why you started treatment or why you got helped (if you havent, i strongly support and suggest the decision to start your future, your sober future. because the days dont count if you cant remember them and we are all only getting older) why you stopped. because you DESERVE it. take care of yourself please, and im serious. think about whats stopping you from real happiness and a healthy future- ha (hint:addiction, seriously, no matter who u are the answer is the same). do better for yourself.

My new favorite ❤
I like your style Bayker, I’ve been saving money to move out of my small town called Baker Lake, Nunavut. My girlfriend is bashing me everyday and I kind of feel as if the lyrics are replicating my life. I can’t wait to blast this when I’m all set. This has been my favourite song for quite awhile. Thank you for making music, god bless you Bayker.

I don’t normally like country music, but I’ve listened to this song about 20 times at this point.
country music is REAL music
Then you been listening tye wrong country pal, cause Nashville stuff don't hold a candle to the independent real country music
Good luck on your journey from the tragic shit that inspired this song to the billboard charts.

His voice is so good!!
This man’s music hits different
Gonna have to agree with another brother on here. One of the Best country songs ever right here. Y’all don’t have to agree now, good things take time. COJO, Chief, all of the best started with bangers like this. You just know when you hear them. It’s different and will always hold a place in your heart… remember exactly where you were and exactly what you were doing when you heard it.
