    I “had” this drone. Loved it at 1st but when I decided to get shifty and learn how to make banked turns by a lake, the slightest breeze took my drone away and i never saw it again. It drowned

    These cheap WiFi controled drones are pretty fun. Some of them have IPEX sockets on the control PCB so you can put a bigger WiFi antennas for greater range. You can also pair them with USB stick type WiFi repeaters for stronger signal. With this Combo you can achive ranges up to 1km in open field when controllig the drone via app.

      my thought... most owners will crash it because they rely fully on the videostream. The latency looked also kinda high, too.

    Hey Andy, great video! Always enjoy watching your stuff. I've been heavy into fpv for the last year, I've got 20 drones, including five 5in freestyle quads that I've built. Best thing I've ever done. Just wanted to let you know, you can fly LOS in the Lift-Off simulator. Take care. ✌️

  • @phischtv4497

    honestly, I would go for a DJI Mini 2 or something similar. The videostream-quality was not even on longrange as bad as this 2m away.... and the stable-mode + gimble nails it into position.

    I'm looking for my first drone and know nothing about them. I Will be flying over water getting boat shots and video. Soooo am I better getting something cheaper incase I lose it or spending more as it will help me not lose it with the extra features if you know what I mean. Haha I will do alot of flying over land to practice before flying at sea. Cheers Andy love the back ground music 👌👍

    • @stuartmccloud307
      @stuartmccloud307 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      TBH I would spend a bit more and get something like a DJI with the return to home feature at least. The probability of losing a drone over water is pretty high, I've had a few sphincter tightening moments myself :)

    • @andykirby
      @andykirby  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes agree, if you need to get decent quality shots then get a camera drone like a DJI Mini 2 at the least, it'll be about 4 times as expensive as this but it will not fly away and it will hold its position as well as having a very good camera. Price goes up exponentially after that for better image quality and stability.
