I made this with my cousin and my mom today. All of us helped in the kitchen and this turned out absolutely amazing and I want to say thank you for the recipe. ❤💯
Awesome, I never said only those from the island removed it, many people don’t remove it. I simply said if your from the island your understand why I removed it.
Good dish yesss! Just how I do it my son love that conch that sauce looks delicious but I see it’s from your business recipe thank you for such good recipes!
No, it wasn't hard, as long as the oil is 350 to 375 degrees, it will come out perfectly. Now if your oil is not at the proper temperature, yes it will be a hot mess!!
I have a friend from the Bahamas who told me about conch and always said how much she loved it and I'd have to try it some time. I want to so badly but wouldn't even know where to buy them from Central New York for crying out loud... No water around hahaha jk jk. Someday I'd like to try it and your recipe looks very very very tasty! Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! Conch is delicious both fried or stewed. If you ever come to visit Florida, visit the Miami or Broward County area, conch is sold almost everywhere.
Lots of Haitians in NY. Try frozen seafood section. If you ever go to the city visit the Haitian neighborhood in Brooklyn near Brooklyn College. Haitian neighborhood in Queens too but I found it easier to find Haitian items in Brooklyn.Conch is an island food item so a store where Puerto Ricans shop may have it too.
Stephanie Joseph ...thanks hun, if your in Florida, bravo or Presidente supermarket will tenderize it for you. Remember to have them put it through the machine twice if you’re making this dish. Stew conch only tenderize once through the machine.
When I was in Haiti back in 2018, I stayed at hotel Kinam & the restaurant there had an amazing conch dip appetizer. I asked the waiter what the ingredients were, he gave it to me. I purchased the conch but never tried it out. Maybe you can use your culinary expertise and come up with a conch dip? I’m sure it’s not that different from crab dip but you know our people are extra on spices and seasoning. Thanks for sharing ❤️
good video, however you're finished product is a little bit overcooked... why make a video and claim your catering business if you can't share a basic recipe for the dipping sauce. everybody puts their little twist in it, it's basically four ingredients unless it's over seasoned, but again why make a video if you leave out ful method. lame in my opinion, too much suss
First of all the Video was not about the sauce , it was about the fried conch. Second of all the it was not overcooked. No assumptions please! By the way my sauce recipe is not basic!

I was taught to remove the white cord from the egg as well and I'm from Miami Florida soo it's not just an island thing 💁🏽♀️
Awesome, I never said only those from the island removed it, many people don’t remove it. I simply said if your from the island your understand why I removed it.
Why do they remove it??
Lou Rose idk I think it’s like the umbilical cord or something so I take it out 😊

@Tracie Daniel try Mayochup; it's similar to conch fritter sauce (dip).

Happy Mother’s Day Annette! Is there a specific supermarket that will texturize the conch for you? When purchased?

Hey Boo I miss you 😘🥰.. thanks for this recipe I am making crack Conch today for the first time
Your welcome
what is conch is it fish?
No, it’s not a fish
It's a sea snail found mostly in the Caribbean. If you have ever seen ppl blow in those large pink shells on the islands that's the conch home .
💐Happy Mother's Day💐
PagingNurseRose ... thanks, same to you
