Your videos have gotten my whole family into Marvel Champions and me back into my local hobby shop looking at games. With the hustle and bustle of life it's easy to forget the things that bring you happiness. Your channel has reminded me of my love for these games. Thank you so much for that Dale.
Great that you've gotten the whole family into gaming. I can remember many games of Yahtzee, Backgammon and Pay Day growing up, and it's great to see the quality of games today to get lost in. :)
I just started to play solo board- and card games. (with Wingspan, and Mini Rogue coming up next). I always wanted to play games like this, but because this kinda games has only been starting to emerge a couple of years ago, I stuck to computer games. And I don't know why, but I'm bored of computer games now. No matter the genre. Probably because most of the time, it becomes mind numbing. (racing, grinding in MMO's, shooters, etc...) And when it's not, it's to hard in some way or another. But, I didn't know a card game existed of God of War!! I knew Skyrim had one, Vampire The Masquerade had one, etc... but not this title. It's one of the few games I actually finished because it looked so good and the story drew me in. Although the gameplay became a bit bland at the end to. (except for boss battles) Glad you did a "how to play". This one goes on my list!! :D Btw, how many games do you have?!
When he starts the next scene is he supposed to keep the +2 to hand count from the first mission (travellers). Ie, does the next scene start with a 9 for a hand count, and presumably the boss afterwards?
@@DaletheCasualGamer you can never share enough I've been introduced to so many games because of you, it's so much fun, zombicide gear up going on the table for me tonight
Yeah, basically. It would have made more sense if they said targets the farthest hero, but the rulebook specifically says that ranged attacks target the farthest column. So if you're not occupying that column, you're safe.
Actually, sorry @DaniCha. I was actually looking through a thread on BGG where the lead designer was answering a bunch of questions. This particular question came up, and he confirmed that enemies with ranged attacks indeed attack the farthest column with a hero occupying it. This means if you are playing solo, you will get hit regardless of which column you occupy. If there are two heroes occupying the same column, it will only hit the hero in 'front', as per usual. And if you have multiple heroes occupying different columns, then they will attack whoever is farthest. This is the way I have assumed the ranged attacks to work, but after you asked I decided to consult the rulebook, which does not specify that these attacks hit heroes. Which is dumb, because they could have simply stated 'attack the farthest column occupying a hero' and it would be clear what to do. (By the way, if there's a tie between multiple heroes, you choose who to hit.) I'm loving the game so far, but man is the rulebook a bit of a mess.
Becomes enraged because the minion let him kill it. Yup, that’s Kratos all over. Feels like a deck builder but it does build slow. First impression is that I’m having a problem seeing what the functions of the enemy cards are. Sigh, I miss miniatures or at least meeples. Very claustrophobic map, no?

Yet another board game I'm tempted for! Never knew this existed until your last video. Hope all is well!
@BEN the BOYO And on the plus side, this game is typically on Discount Bins! :)
Looks nice... Thanks for the video!
Pretty neat game and unique "art" mechanism. :)
I miss you, Dale. I hope you are well.
I’m doing okay, and hope you are well and enjoying some games! :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer I am indeed!
This looks like a lot of fun! Until your unboxing, I had never heard of it, but it looks like it’s been out for a few years.
It's been out for a while. I actually picked it up on discount, so definitely felt worth it to me. :)

What do you do with shatter crystal cards the instructions don’t seem to answer it and it’s the only part of the game I don’t understand
kray-toe-ss like kray fish and toast without the t :)
@Mark D Busted ... I never played the video game, so I'll butcher names in this campaign. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer cant find the video your talking about where you are leaving solo games? Or just youtube?

when enemy activates ranged but my hero is not in the farthest column, does it ignore the attack?

I got my copy at Miniature Market (and just checked, they have copies), but also saw available at Amazon. Happy gaming! :)
I got it at princess auto, it was like $15
