When i found out this has a solo mode, i just had to get it. None of my friends really play card games, nor are we ever able to hang out. Some day soon when i have time im going to try it out. I have opened it up and looked inside... everything feels so high quality. I almost feel bad having to take it all apart.
French rule book states this about crystals: You remove them at the end of the quest or during upgrade phase. During upgrade phase you MAY remove crystals from you discard pile if you want to.
It's been awhile, but as I recall how the exploding resin worked in the video game, I could see it working either way. In the game the resin was on things, but you couldn't explode it until you had the correct weapon to do so. I don't recall it being something you carried or had, but it may have been.
In the video game you have a lot of neat abilities added to Kratos as you play. Like his axe chains to multiple enemies, he can quake the ground, etc. Hopefully there are cards that have neat abilities like that. I like the enemy card flipping aspect and how the background blends in regardless of which side it is on. I like the boss mechanism a lot. Boss fights can be like that sometimes. Also, I can see there being a lot of expansions. The video game is huge! Also, Mimir (the talking head) has some great one-liners. And, Kratos's son is a great character in the game which adds a lot of dialogue and story. Glad I preordered the game.
Thats a special card, those card can be used at any time. For example Mimir can block attacks only if they hit him or Kratos. Mimir cant use Block on Freya
u cant play 2 reds or 2 blues or 2 yellows for +dmg or +block dmg , u need to use 1 red melee card and then only black + cards , for bigger dmg or bigger range dmg or bigger block dmg , not 2 or 3 reds melees for + dmg , exemple for Kratos : i use 1 red meele +2 for first card and for second card +1 black card , and 3rd card +2 black card :)
@@OneStopCoopShop u can use 2 yellows or 2 red only for "special atacks" like in second scenario, when u need to do 2 yellows to flip back that scenario part :)
I'm not playing solo rules sorry. Did 3 player cause I don't like the solo rules as written. Enemies I can't remember but iv think they can keep coming so you can get the crystals you need!
After raising your hand limit and beating the travellers, do you keep your hand limit for the next scene/boss? Eg, if I do scene 1 and get the reward to a 9card hand limit, and finish the scene do I start the second tier (maybe scene 3) with a hand limit of 9?

The game mechanic looks fine. But it's more like a abstract game. The cards are not very beautiful, and the enemy seems too weak, that makes the game not very intense. I really think this game should be polished somehow.
I finished the video game few months ago and that's pretty much where I'm happy to leave this IP. It was a good game. I like card games but I'll pass. I'd rather put my tabletop gaming money on a different IP.

Do the enemy's attack after each of your actions or player turn or entire turn? Rule book is terrible worse than dark souls
