- Genshin Impact, but it's a Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge... What could go wrong?
Today we did a lot of resource collecting, and ultimately took on the challenge of floors 5 and 6 in the Spiral Abyss... Only, it didn't go as well as I was hoping...
We did a nuzlocke challenge before, but this one is a bit different.
Our goal is simple: Clear Floor 8 of the Spiral Abyss (ideally with 3 stars in each chamber).
As for the rules?
Only using 3-star weapons or lower
Only using starting characters (Lumine, Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Noelle, Xiangling, Collei, & Barbara)
If a character dies at any point, we cannot use them ever again
Food is BANNED
No teleporting out of combat. If we need to run away, we can. But we cannot use teleporters to escape, and we cannot leave domains without clearing them.
Only pulling on Weapon Banner
Any characters or constellations obtained from the Weapon Banner are NOT to be used.

Honestly, while really awkward to use, I lowkey think Geo MC to just battery Noelle might be the best setup
Free 10 crit rate is also good
Especially bc he doesn't have VV, that diminishes Anemo Traveler's value a lot

It was killing me that in the middle of the video when you were looking for the rukkhadevata mushrooms you didn't even bother going to the big trees in Apam Woods bc there's more there and they're so close to each other 😭

@@franmadaraki616 an aranara called aramani, stands in a small pool of water near vanarana, kinda hidden under a stone arch. teleport to the statue of the seven in vanarana and walk back into the main village instead of the big house, then take a left turn into a small cave/tunnel, should lead you right up to aramani, he gives you 5 mushrooms a day
Lisa is definitely not the worst for hyperblooms, you just need strict rotations
i use lisa on my friends account for hyperbloom and her issue is targeting, getting her to actually hit the bloom seeds are such a pain 9/10 times

I main Lisa, so my rotation use to go Dendro Traveler> Barbara> Lisa until I replaced Dendro MC w/ nahida lol

The thing is, they wouldn't show you going up the stairs in the abyss because when you rpogress you go down. when you finish floor 12-3 it tells you you have reached the -bottom of the abyss-
well we could go in the opposite way haha
I too always thought we need to have access to those stairs, it would be so satisfying
there's a theory about teyvat being upside down so........

I always worry about you when you go to the Oceanid in this challenge. Every time it feels like he's about to use that one-shot attack.

There is a Forest Ranger (in the first area you go to in Sumeru) that sell the Rukkhashava Shooms (also an Aranara but they're in the Aranara Village which you have to unlock through quest)
there's an npc in ghandarva ville who sells the mushrooms. I used him instead of farming. He's the guy next to the cooking pot, who is obsessed with meat if you know who I mean

By the way, I think you want to use Cool Steel instead of skyrider sword on kaeya, because the passive buffs against cryo damage which is really helpful for him.

ok so, for the spiral abyss, i think a hyperbloom comp (lisa, collei, barbara, dendro mc) would be good. for the other half, welp, just throw in the rest. noelle as the main dps, kaeya and xiangling as off-field sub dps, and amber as xiangling's battery? i dont even know if its gonna work lol

i heard a few hours earlier that mika is actually a cryo polearm like rosaria, not sure how true that is, but even if he was a cryo catalyst, then i wouldnt really like java to have a rooster on his team lol.

It would be really cool once you finish the 1-8 challenge with javalocke rules you take the remaining characters and see how many stars you can get in spiral abyss 9-12 (dying allowed just the javalocke builds)
This is such a good mini series and it’s pretty interesting.
I think you should aim for two teams:
Bloom: Dendro MC, Kaeya, Collei and Barbara (lots of seed and crowd control)
Geo: Noelle, Xiangling, Amber and Lisa (pyro resonance and defense shred)
nah I think the bloom team is not that good
because the bloom do so much dmg to you and if he died he will lose the character
why not collei, dendro mc, lisa and barbara for hyperbloom and a melt team that consists of noelle, xiangling, amber and kaeya instead?

i feel like using 4 or 5 star weapons and cons would be much fun cause you already should only use 4star characters and you cant use them if they died so its a fair challenge and i dont think you could do that much dmg with characters like this in the future

I'm not sure if you are or aren't aware of this, but I just wanted to point out that blooms are light enough to get caught up in swirl attacks (even Lumine's). My fave hyper bloom team is Lisa, Kazuha, Collei, and Xingqiu actually. I like it because I'm able to consistently manipulate blooms how I need to. For what you have available I'd say that Lisa, Lumine, Collei, and Barbara would work really well.
You can obviously mess around with rotations, but if you throw out Collei's skill then swap to lumine while affected with Barbara's skill you could create a lot of blooms and group them all in one place. Then, when you swap to Lisa, aim with her charged attack and you'll hit all those blooms all at once. I tested it a bit and I think it'd work out pretty well.
(If you want burgeoun I'd swap in xiangling, but if you need her to be on a melt team with Kaeya I'm sure you're skilled enough to be make Amber work as well.)

As I’m doing a wish less genshin account, EM Lisa is stronger than ever in 3.0+. If you can craft the sumeru catalyst Fruit of Fulfillment, you can get 200 Energy Recharge and 1000 EM with refinements and good 5* EM artifacts and ER subs. If your ER isn’t at least 200%, you may want to use 2P emblem
With 200% ER, you can reliably use Lisa’s burst, which lets you use Barbara to hyperbloom on field while Collei skill and burst hit off field.
I have cleared floor 12 at AR52. You don’t need Dendro Traveler for hyperbloom, and instead you can have him VV shred
My wishless Lisa team is unironically strong enough to 36* abyss, however, the Kaeya Xiangling Traveler Dori team is not.
My current teams
Lisa Barbara Collei Flex
Kaeya Xiangling Traveler Dori
After Xingqiu in 3.4,
Lisa Xingqiu Collei Dori
Kaeya Xiangling Traveler Barbara
Not wishing is a pain because I don’t have access to thrilling tales
Lisa, Xiangling, and Collei have good weapons, Fruit of Fulfillment, The Catch, and Favonius Bow. Dori herself is actually an insane get, since even at C0, while pretty bad compared to other healers, she’s perfect for Lisa, and can use either the sumeru or inazuma craftable claymore
Kaeya is running the inazuma craftable sword with 2P Shimenawas 2P Gladiators, he’s just a traditional cryptic dps that focuses on melting off Xiangling.
Traveler is currently running traveler’s handy sword to tank, but I swap it with Kazuha’s story quest sword or the dark iron sword occasionally. Though after the new event, the Umbrella sword is pretty good for him as well.
Xingqiu would be a dead character on my account if not for the ONE free 3* skyrider sword that has insane energy recharge stats for a 3* gacha weapon.
Barbara is just built normally, 4P clams with R1 Prototype Amber
Collei just runs max ER 4P deep wood, let’s her spam her burst over and over
Xiangling is traditional, Pyro sub dps with the Catch and 4P emblem.
