- Genshin Impact, but we use Catalysts ONLY. AKA, Spells Only.
This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.
This time around we experience pain. And suffering. For instance, there is still no cryo catalyst, enemies in our world just got much harder to defeat, we're once again faced with more unskippable dialogue... Ya know, the basic Genshin stuff
I complain a lot, but just in case it's not clear, I obviously do still enjoy playing and making content for Genshin. (I just tend to complain a lot sometimes)

Anemo can break all shields equally but weaker than the other elements
Isnt anemo just gonna swirl the element of the shield?

Yes, the weakest but it reversed when you see bunch element in one place. Like multiple abyss mages in different element in one place. Their shield would react each other when swirls.

1:44 at first I thought the same. But mona's island in the archipelago showed me how useful it is that they don't let you fall, plus there are also invisible paths in sumeru.

Yeah, when I’m going down a narrow pole in like the chasm or something, it’s very useful so I don’t fall off.

I’m actually glad you can’t go off the edge with the alternate sprint because it made that invisible maze in the Sumeru desert so much easier lol.

@@healwithmusica1 In the desert at the leftmost waypoint near the Paimon border if you walk off a cliff nearby there will be an invisible path. It only reveals itself slightly when you walk over it. There’s multiple turns and walls and at the end of it there’s a luxurious chest! If you use an alternate sprint, ability like Sayu’s, or the aim mode with a bow character you won’t fall off the edge and will be able to navigate it easier without having to start over.
@@harm0ny_ tyy I was able to get my 10 primos, but I didn't know what to do in the upper part, it needed special clearance which I have no idea what that is
@@healwithmusica1 Finish the golden slumber and it’s sequel then you’ll have all clearances.
I just use a bow character and go into aiming mode while walking, or use sayu skill, yelan skill, or idk any other animation that isn’t Mona or Ayaka sprint.

This alt sprints/sayu's e etc are the only things that help mobile players to go through narrow places without falling
Like in the Chasm there're ropes, in sumeru there're time challendges with branches
+ invisible places in GAA, desert
There's also aiming mode... though not for spells only but just saying. It is way more efficient than the sprints since you can use it indefinetely.
Or you can move yourself very slowly just by attacking.

If that is the reason, this is a situation I would like if Hoyo made different gameplay versions for the different devices. IE, let console and PC players go off cliffs, keep the invisible walls for mobile.
If you get Lisa to lv80 with 800 EM, she should do around 6.6k per electro-charged tick, and each electro-charged ticks twice. So you can deal 13.2k per lisa attack, and the second tick travels to nearby enemies that have hydro applied to them. It’s an easy way to obliterate Oceanus.
edit: Granted Lisa has a 2.5s ICD, so either attack different enemies, or normal attack spam. In my experience,
her first and last hit of her normal attack combo will trigger a reaction if you continue to attack on a single enemy.
This is useful in a Lisa Bennett combo, as Lisa's normals apply 1U of electro, while Bennett applies 2U. This means that Lisa can trigger 2 overloads before she cleanses an enemy of Bennett's skill pyro application.
Yanfei only applies 1U of pyro, so if you were to try and utilize her in an overload team, you would have to swap back and forth for each hit. This includes her normals, charged, skill, and burst.
Barbara is a good combo with Lisa, because Barbara and Lisa are both catalyst types that directly attack an enemy, allowing you to easily swap between the two and hit the same enemy, even if they're out of reach normally, like on a tower. This makes it so enemies Klee, Yanfei, and Ningguang can't reach are killable through floors or walls. Mona can also fulfil this role of hydro applicator, but you're better off using her for better things than to just apply hydro for Lisa.
And that hydro domain with the increased cooldown as well.
Though Ning also works great as a DPS there, if you have her C2, since that means you can use her elemental skill every 6s (just don't use her burst).

@@lukegillespie4631 yes, sacrificial fragments and char to 90 +20 random artifacts with just em the 4p dont matter it is easy to an ar 50 player.
Lisa at lvl 70 with 300 EM and lvl 80 Eye of Perception is enough to farm the oceanid at WL8

Random information that everybody probably knows but I will forget:
The final gem things for ascension’s description is based on what the archon of that specific element says at the end of the archon quest. The cryo gem says something about burning the world away, the pyro gem says something about being a warrior. Hydro obviously says something about Justice, Electro eternity, Geo I can’t remember, and anemo and carrying across in the wind. The Traveller’s gem has a simple description with no ‘lore’.
The reason why you have to do klees before monas is because you met klee again during mona's story quest! Since klee isn't in the main story and even though majority of the genshin fandom has already met klee they still put you through that, so it makes sense story wise that what you say during mona's story quest implies you already know klee! :D Also just in general for some reasons they hate quests even slightly over lapping even with unimportant npcs who you don't know and never see.
Nahida is going to be a dendro catalyst! And her constellations are pretty good as well, so definitely worth saving for!

Mona's story quest ties with klee's story quest in the end, that's why you can't do it before klee's

Actually Heizou is great for breaking shields if you need a character that can break every type of shield. His elemental skill does a lot of damage to shields.
Dmg doesn’t matter against shields

Just a spiral abyss suggestion for when you try spiral abyss again😭: taze Heizou team with Lisa, Mona and Ningguang for shields and klee vape team with Barbara, sucrose and Yanfei (tested those two teams out because your challenges inspired me to try crazy things on my own account 😂❤)
Ninnguang was my Oceanid birdslayer for the longest time until I pulled Ganyu. Her combination of "alright DPS" and self shielding, on top of the all important trait of "actually hitting the birds" was what carried my Xingqui to 80/80.

18:00 little fun thing for you Java: any new flying creature if you hit the wings with the ball gadget it works the same way as a bow does and its really dam funny to knock them down using it. Also a good tip for swords only without breaking rules so you can keep on attacking it! Edit: Apprently hitting it in the eye as it charges at you nets the same reason which is just even funnier now.
Watching Java suffer is my energy fuel.

Layla is sword and Nahida is catalyst, so there's actually more pain!
As a Mona main I can say that she is so fun to play and also if built correctly can be a really really good damage dealer!
I did a lot of testing on my account and I can safely confirm that Mona dps in a vape team(bennet, mona, zhongli, xiangling) outperforms the majority of my c0-2, r 1 teams of other 5*s easily with her ~300k pop ups and a sequence of 4-6 140k charged attacks (cr is 72% so it's consistent), while c6r5 xiangling deals a lot of dmg off field. As long as keeping the pyro aura on the enemy is possible, this team is just as capable as many other elite ones.
Note: Mona dps is not a goto for many of players who don't have money or a will to pull for specific 5* chars and weapons to get the same or better performance. I'd recommend to build Mona as a support and invest resources smarter in other fun characters and teams. Ppl who love Mona as much as I do won't listen to me anyway.

Just letting you know, you can lower your world level to make Oceanid, and farming for Mona and Barbara easier, just hit the i button next to the world level in the pause menu.

You can use the wind-blessed harpastum to stun the Aeonblight. Not that it matters as no catalysts use it.

I have contemplated on the stopping at an edge thing a lot of times seeing how I love Xiao. But. Since most of these cases are E skills and even for an alternate sprint it would be really unfortunate to go off an edge you didn't plan to jump off in the middle of combat.
So if anything, that would have to be exlusive for outside combat and still entirely blocked for aiming mode.

you can stunt the blight drake by throwing the Audi harpestrum balls at it which you can get from Majorie in Mondstadt by clicking " browse special items"
