Chicken Puffs / Savory Puffs

  • Dough:
    1 cup water (room temp)
    1 stick butter
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tbsp granulated sugar
    1 cup flour
    4 large eggs
    TIP: If puffs start to deflate after baking then they need more baking. Place back I'm over for another 10 to 15 mins. It may take up to 35 mins depending on your oven.
    Filling:
    TIP: Add 1 and 1/2 tbsp extra of mayo and blend mixture to make chicken cream to fill
    (2) .5 oz tins of chicken
    1/4 tsp salt ( if chicken already has sodium then omit the salt )
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1 and 1/2 tbsp mayonnaise
    1/2 tbsp mustard
    1 tsp garlic powder ( or 1 clove of garlic)
    1/2 tsp paprika
    hot sauce optional
    1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
    OR Use this recipe for a CREAMY SMOOTH filling. PERFECT.
