This deck is bananas. There are turns where i feel like you are just making up the mana. It really takes a certain style of procedural thinking to play this deck.
Thanks for this! This is probably my favorite deck in Historic. The timer ends up being our biggest opponent. But I've learned to stack my Ambers and Jaces to the right, since repeating Kethis will always put them to the right after that. Helps when you have dozens of cards on the screen at once.
Kethis really needs to be unbanned in pioneer. He was banned back when they didn’t want combo decks in the format but clearly they don’t feel that way now when decks like mono green incidentally get a combo finish
@@sebastianjasinski3538 fair enough tbh I can see it being annoying to sit through in paper since it’s technically not a loop. But especially now the combo line is way simpler

I used to love it when I played BO3 with Kethis, knowing they had a Gaea's Blessing. Stone Brain handled that REAL quick and provided fuel for Kethis lol. Now we have Agatha's in the main....beautiful.
@@demiurge2501 Agatha's Soul Cauldron says "You may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to activate abilities of creatures you control." That allowed the red mana to be spent on the blue part of the cost of Kinnan's ability.
@@Balor64 oh so it gets around jegatha’s “this mana can’t be spent on generic mana costs” because technically it wasn’t, it was spent as either G or U? Cool.
Timeless and Explorer fill the role that Historic used to have. I also prefer formats with fewer Alchemy or rebalanced cards. Maybe at some point there could be a deck that’s not quite good enough for Timeless that could work in Historic.
Not exaggerating muxus was the one reason I stopped playing historic and will never play again, such an un-fun card to play against that was never ever nerfed and continues to ruin the meta game. Thanks wizards 👍😁👍
I'm a huge LVD fan but i have to say, these timeless/historic decks are like Ambien to watch.its bad enough IRL when playing commander when guys are taking 5 minute turns but these videos provide almost no value. I know how every combo works. I don't need to see it in real time. Brawl content only.

That's exactly how you would do it!
So phyrexian mana gets around Jegantha's restrictions?
Yes, the exact wording on Jegantha is, "more than one of the same mana symbol," and Phyrexian blue mana is not the same as normal blue mana.
These kind of games are a brutal experience for the other player.
This is why almost deck I play has 1 copy of Gaeas Blessing

You would lose Jegantha and outside of the combo it’s a little tricky to cast.
