The enemy of my enemy...maybe the Nazgul fear another powerful force from laying claim on the ring, so they appear to intercept on Frodo's behalf, when its just a safer path to lay claim to the Ring
In the category of unblockability: there's also a new equipment that provides nonbasic landwalk, in historic brawl is almost always guaranteed, even against mono colored decks
I have a ringbearer deck with the G/W Frodo and I've found double strike on Frodo to be really effective to close out the game. The spirit from Midnight Hunt that disturbs into a double strike aura is the best since you can discard it on level two.

Isn't there a two-card combo where you can be tempted as much as you wanted? WIth Ratadrabik of Urborg and the turn-a-card legendary part of the temped?
Yeah, it’s Boromir, Warden of the Tower. It’s free sac ability includes getting tempted, so you activate the sac ability, make a non-legendary copy of Boromir, and then make it legendary by having it be your Ring-bearer. Then just rinse and repeat as many times as you want.

Against the Marrow-Gnawer deck, you could just fail to find with the saga instead of fetching a legendary that's going to be discarded anyways. Any effect that asks you to search your library lets you choose to find nothing even if you have a valid find available.
I very much dislike Nazgul and want it to be banned from Historic Brawl. To me it feels like it goes against the whole purpose of the format: to constantly have different interactions and gamestates/boardstates. Now every time I play against a black deck they have a Nazgul and it feels like regular Historic.

Being able to play this online and not having to pay well over 100 dollars just for the 9 Nazgul provides a lot of value.

Just played a game with this deck. First game was against Sauron and I won with frodos alt win condition. Thanks LegenVD for the lore satisfaction
The fact that Frodo has to sneak through to get the win is very thematically enjoyable.
The fact that the nazgul are his personal bodyguards and enablers is a bit more silly ^^

Mill decks hate this one simple trick: adding Gaea's Blessing to your deck!

LOTR is not standard legal so while LVD is covering new cards from the set it’ll only be in Historic and Historic Brawl where they’re legal
