I feel like with 4x Bloom-Kin and the whole Landfall theme this deck wouldn't hate a cheeky 1-of Escape Tunnel for an extra Landfall Trigger or a sneaky hit with a big Bloom-Kin
Always good to see Monogreen. I've been working with a similar list but I've been using spelunking instead of beanstalk. Now that FDN has dropped I have some decisions to make so it's super good to see what other green ramp decks are running. You're giving me good ideas here.
In a deck with mostly cheaper permanents it can do a lot of work. It clashes a bit with the Nissa + Awaken the Woods plan, probably can't include both.
Cant think of the actual name of the 2 drop legendary artifact that cycles and adds 1 +1/+1 counter but it's a nice addition ive seen in some mono green standard decks
Play the fetch basic lands with the Hydra, pretty easy to win with it quickly especially if you can protect it from removal with Tamiyos blessing, etc.
This card is a menace. Ive made a timeless deck that the only banned card is natural order and i havent checked but it has to be a 80-85% winrate. If i cant pull a big card that hydra can just win a game by itself with the right set up.
I dont have all the mythicals to technically complete this deck so I replaced Nissa, Ascended Animist with Tyvar, the Pummeler and it seems to be great
Hey guy, I love the deck! Gave it a whirl today and had a blast. Mossborn, Awaken the woods, and big Nissa are absolutely disgusting together. Do you think this deck has room for snakeskin veil? I was thinking of taking beanstalk out, but I love me some beanstalk.
Always wondered what it'd be like if right before a new set dropped Wizards was, "Uh... we forgot to do art or leave slots for Islands on accident? So Blue is going to rotate out of standard...."
Acquiring cards on Arena is a slow (or very expensive) process unfortunately. Foundations is a good set to open since those cards will be in Standard for 5 years. I don't recommend crafting this as your first deck, since it's not super competitive and requires quite a few rares and mythics. Look into limited formats like Draft to start building a collection, it's the most cost effective way to acquire new cards if you can get good at it.
In the larger formats like timeless the hydra should be really good with ozolith right? It builds counters quicker then anything else and even when it dies you don't lose them, add some of the proliferate cards that also can deal with enchantments and BOOM. Green beatdown could be DISGUSTING. Add Veil of Summer and some 1-2 mana hexproof for protection and with the right draw you will basically be unstoppable.
in timeless, the format is far too powerful to play cards that have no immediate impact. Ozolith is effectively a waste of mana and tempo. Maybe you could try this in pionner though
@@braedenwinstead1984 I totally forgot about the 1 mana Ozolith, yeah you are right. But i abandoned the Ozolith idea for a more explosive beat down deck. See list above.

@joshuajoyce7890 green overlord would give you the mana. I just think it needs some sort of removal for flyers and other powerful problems. Not sure if you want to go full golgari as you want a high forest count.
Don't you just love missing land drops when you're 25+ lands, but decks with 18-22 lands never miss theirs? Gotta love Arena's "mana smoothing," eh? EDIT: Also, I just can't play decks with 0 interaction. Praying you don't get disrupted or that you'll just hit the combo to threaten lethal out of nowhere makes for very volatile gameplay.
It's a hand smoothing algorithm, and it only takes place one before you're in the game. Before you load in, you're dealt three hands and the algorithm chooses the hand that has the "best" mix or spells and lands. So those hands that you get with one or five mana you just got the most donkey fucked RNG possible. The rest is just how un/lucky you are with drawing.
Tapping a basic forest, thereby adding 1 green mana to one's mana pool, provides a lot of value.
I really like that this channel shows losses. It happens to us all and it shows weak spots in the deck and decks it could struggle against. Fantastic channel. Keep up the great work!
