I use a torque range on mine.The guard got taken out by the blade in the first week of owning mine. Defenetly recommend to set it on a pad

When you put your hand on that blade, it was definitely way too loose great video
The torque for the blade tension is 25 ft lbs.
Consider a biobased lubricant like Dewalt bar and chain oil. Best in the market. Non-petroleum.
