So glad that you're so happy and not burnt out with Peachtober this year. I don't participate in the challenge, but I've loved seeing what everyone's creating and the different mediums are so fun. Oh my gosh I get you so much, I am doing peachtober and working on two books (a chapter book and picture book) with my newborn baby taking up my days ❤ I feel like I am never stopping and don’t have time to risk burnout but when I started peachtober this year I thought I would just see how I go no pressure and it has been creative therapy for me at night after Bub is asleep. Can’t believe we are almost through it this year.
Love it, peachtober, it is my first try this year, but will for certain be challinging myself next year as well. Not all pieces are great, I put some sketches in as well, because of to much to do in so little time. But it is okay and so much fun already! Thanks for hosting!!!

I really enjoyed hearing what changed about your practice this year that made your Peachtober more enjoyable and less stressful! I'm in school right now and trying to find a balance between my chaotic workload and not put too much pressure on myself at the same time so I don't end up burning out or becoming discouraged. I'm not even in school for art and so much of what you said applied to my experiences too so thanks for sharing!! I always love your work and happy almost-birthday!

I’m so happy for you!! I’m taking part for the first time this year and I can’t believe I’ve been able to do it everyday! I already know things to improve for next year and in general about my art, but I couldn’t be happier about the results!! It’s truly amazing what can be done when you set your mind to it!
You are so right, you need a good balance of work and life so you don't burn out! Being self employed I've learned I need to stop working after a certain amount of time and do something else to decompress so I'm rejuvenated for the next day of work.

i really wanted to take part in peachtober again this year but now i’ve graduated uni and come back home a lot has changed for me and i’ve been majorly burnt out from art, so i eventually didn’t take part, but thank you always for writing/creating amazing inspiring prompts and art, sharing these videos and inspiring me with creativity even when i feel i can’t create 💗 much love you are amazing & my biggest inspiration !

Sha’an, would you be interested in showing us exactly how you scan your work and edit it so you can upload a crisp image on Instagram and your website? I’m often struggling with image quality on social platforms
Re sharpness: If you're scanning at 300dpi and above it should be fine. I scan at 1200 for archive's sake.

OMG. Peach! As usual I love your content, but I'm from the northeast of the US where we are known for speaking quickly and you would slay any one of us. I know you hate coffee but it sounded like you had a few cups too many. (Said with endearment 🍑) You know how else you'd fit in up here? Maple Syrup baby and lots of it!!!!

I was looking forward to participate in the peachtober this year but for the past teo months I’ve been struggling hard with mental health… but I’m sure I’ll be waaay better for the next one 🫶🏻
